1And Saul, as yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
1掃羅 仍然向主的門徒口吐威嚇凶煞的話，去見大祭司，
2And asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues: that if he found any men and women of this way, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
2求文書給 大馬士革 的各會堂，若是找着信奉這道的人，無論男女，都准他捆綁帶到 耶路撒冷 。
3And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew nigh to Damascus; and suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him.
3掃羅 行路，將到 大馬士革 ，忽然從天上發光，四面照着他；
4And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
4他就仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對他說：「 掃羅 ！ 掃羅 ！你為甚麼逼迫我？」
5Who said: Who art thou, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad.
5他說：「主啊！你是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。
6And he trembling and astonished, said: Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
6起來！進城去，你所當做的事，必有人告訴你。」
7And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the city, and there it shall be told thee what thou must do. Now the men who went in company with him, stood amazed, hearing indeed a voice, but seeing no man.
7同行的人站在那裏，說不出話來，聽見聲音，卻看不見人。
8And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.
8掃羅 從地上起來，睜開眼睛，竟不能看見甚麼。有人拉他的手，領他進了 大馬士革 ；
9And he was there three days, without sight, and he did neither eat nor drink.
9三日不能看見，也不吃也不喝。
10Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. And he said: Behold I am here, Lord.
10當下，在 大馬士革 有一個門徒，名叫 亞拿尼亞 。主在異象中對他說：「 亞拿尼亞 。」他說：「主，我在這裏。」
11And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the street that is called Stait, and seek in the house of Judas, one named Saul of Tarsus. For behold he prayeth.
11主對他說：「起來！往直街去，在 猶大 的家裏，訪問一個 大數 人，名叫 掃羅 。他正禱告，
12(And he saw a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hands upon him, that he might receive his sight.)
12又看見了一個人，名叫 亞拿尼亞 ，進來按手在他身上，叫他能看見。」
13But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.
13亞拿尼亞 回答說：「主啊，我聽見許多人說，這人怎樣在 耶路撒冷 多多苦害你的聖徒，
14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that invoke thy name.
14並且他在這裏有從祭司長得來的權柄捆綁一切求告你名的人。」
15And the Lord said to him: Go thy way; for this man is to me a vessel of election, to carry my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.
15主對 亞拿尼亞 說：「你只管去！他是我所揀選的器皿，要在外邦人和君王，並 以色列 人面前宣揚我的名。
16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
16我也要指示他，為我的名必須受許多的苦難。」
17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house. And laying his hands upon him, he said: Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus hath sent me, he that appeared to thee in the way as thou camest; that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
17亞拿尼亞 就去了，進入那家，把手按在 掃羅 身上，說：「兄弟 掃羅 ，在你來的路上向你顯現的主，就是耶穌，打發我來，叫你能看見，又被聖靈充滿。」
18And immediately there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and rising up, he was baptized.
18掃羅 的眼睛上，好像有鱗立刻掉下來，他就能看見。於是起來受了洗；
19And when he had taken meat, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples that were at Damascus, for some days.
19吃過飯就健壯了。 掃羅 和 大馬士革 的門徒同住了些日子，
20And immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
20就在各會堂裏宣傳耶穌，說他是上帝的兒子。
21And all that heard him, were astonished, and said: Is not this he who persecuted in Jerusalem those that called upon this name: and came hither for that intent, that he might carry them bound to the chief priests?
21凡聽見的人都驚奇，說：「在 耶路撒冷 殘害求告這名的，不是這人嗎？並且他到這裏來，特要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏。」
22But Saul increased much more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, affirming that this is the Christ.
22但 掃羅 越發有能力，駁倒住 大馬士革 的 猶太 人，證明耶穌是基督。
23And when many days were passed, the Jews consulted together to kill him.
23過了好些日子， 猶太 人商議要殺 掃羅 ，
24But their laying in wait was made known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night, that they might kill him.
24但他們的計謀被 掃羅 知道了。他們又晝夜在城門守候，要殺他。
25But the disciples taking him in the night, conveyed him away by the wall, letting him down in a basket.
25他的門徒就在夜間用筐子把他從城牆上縋下去。
26And when he was come into Jerusalem, he essayed to join himself to the disciples; and they all were afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
26掃羅 到了 耶路撒冷 ，想與門徒結交，他們卻都怕他，不信他是門徒。
27But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and told them how he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to him; and how in Damascus he had dealt confidently in the name of Jesus.
27惟有 巴拿巴 接待他，領去見使徒，把他在路上怎麼看見主，主怎麼向他說話，他在 大馬士革 怎麼奉耶穌的名放膽傳道，都述說出來。
28And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.
28於是 掃羅 在 耶路撒冷 和門徒出入來往，
29He spoke also to the Gentiles, and disputed with the Greeks; but they sought to kill him.
29奉主的名放膽傳道，並與說希臘話的 猶太 人講論辯駁；他們卻想法子要殺他。
30Which when the brethren had known, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.
30弟兄們知道了就送他下 凱撒利亞 ，打發他往 大數 去。
31Now the church had peace throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria; and was edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and was filled with the consolation of the Holy Ghost.
31那時， 猶太 、 加利利 、 撒馬利亞 各處的教會都得平安，被建立；凡事敬畏主，蒙聖靈的安慰，人數就增多了。
32And it came to pass that Peter, as he passed through, visiting all, came to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.
32彼得 周流四方的時候，也到了居住 呂大 的聖徒那裏；
33And he found there a certain man named Eneas, who had kept his bed for eight years, who was ill of the palsy.
33遇見一個人，名叫 以尼雅 ，得了癱瘓，在褥子上躺臥八年。
34And Peter said to him: Eneas, the Lord Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise, and make thy bed. And immediately he arose.
34彼得 對他說：「 以尼雅 ，耶穌基督醫好你了， 起來！收拾你的褥子。」他就立刻起來了。
35And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron, saw him: who were converted to the Lord.
35凡住 呂大 和 沙崙 的人都看見了他，就歸服主。
36And in Joppe there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
36在 約帕 有一個女徒，名叫 大比大 ，翻 希臘 話就是 多加 ；她廣行善事，多施賙濟。
37And it came to pass in those days that she was sick, and died. Whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
37當時，她患病而死，有人把她洗了，停在樓上。
38And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppe, the disciples hearing that Peter was there, sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not be slack to come unto them.
38呂大 原與 約帕 相近；門徒聽見 彼得 在那裏，就打發兩個人去見他，央求他說：「快到我們那裏去，不要耽延。」
39And Peter rising up, went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber. And all the widows stood about him weeping, and shewing him the coats and garments which Dorcas made them.
39彼得 就起身和他們同去；到了，便有人領他上樓。眾寡婦都站在 彼得 旁邊哭，拿 多加 與她們同在時所做的裏衣外衣給他看。
40And they all being put forth, Peter kneeling down prayed, and turning to the body, he said: Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and seeing Peter, she sat up.
40彼得 叫她們都出去，就跪下禱告，轉身對着死人說：「 大比大 ，起來！」她就睜開眼睛，見了 彼得 ，便坐起來。
41And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And when he had called the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.
41彼得 伸手扶她起來，叫眾聖徒和寡婦進去，把 多加 活活地交給他們。
42And it was made known throughout all Joppe; and many believed in the Lord.
42這事傳遍了 約帕 ，就有許多人信了主。
43And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppe, with one Simon a tanner.
43此後， 彼得 在 約帕 一個硝皮匠 西門 的家裏住了多日。
