1耶穌說完了這一切的話，就對門徒說：
1And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended all these words, he said to his disciples:
2「你們知道，過兩天是逾越節，人子將要被交給人，釘在十字架上。」
2You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified:
3那時，祭司長和民間的長老聚集在大祭司稱為 該亞法 的院裏。
3Then were gathered together the chief priests and ancients of the people into the court of the high priest, who was called Caiphas:
4大家商議要用詭計拿住耶穌，殺他，
4And they consulted together, that by subtilty they might apprehend Jesus, and put him to death.
5只是說：「當節的日子不可，恐怕民間生亂。」
5But they said: Not on the festival day, lest perhaps there should be a tumult among the people.
6耶穌在 伯大尼 長大痲瘋的 西門 家裏，
6And when Jesus was in Bethania, in the house of Simon the leper,
7有一個女人拿着一玉瓶極貴的香膏來，趁耶穌坐席的時候，澆在他的頭上。
7There came to him a woman having an alabaster box of precious ointment, and poured it on his head as he was at table.
8門徒看見就很不喜悅，說：「何用這樣的枉費呢！
8And the disciples seeing it, had indignation, saying: To what purpose is this waste?
9這 香膏 可以賣許多錢，賙濟窮人。」
9For this might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
10耶穌看出他們的意思，就說：「為甚麼難為這女人呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。
10And Jesus knowing it, said to them: Why do you trouble this woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
11因為常有窮人和你們同在；只是你們不常有我。
11For the poor you have always with you: but me you have not always.
12她將這香膏澆在我身上是為我安葬做的。
12For she in pouring this ointment upon my body, hath done it for my burial.
13我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麼地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所行的，作個紀念。」
13Amen I say to you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which she hath done, shall be told for a memory of her.
14當下，十二門徒裏有一個稱為 加略 人 猶大 的，去見祭司長，
14Then went one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests,
15說： 「我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？」他們就給了他三十塊錢。
15And said to them: What will you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? But they appointed him thirty pieces of silver.
16從那時候，他就找機會要把耶穌交給他們。
16And from thenceforth he sought opportunity to betray him.
17除酵節的第一天，門徒來問耶穌說：「你吃逾越 節的筵席 ，要我們在哪裏給你預備？」
17And on the first day of the Azymes, the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the pasch?
18耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裏，對他說：『夫子說：我的時候快到了，我與門徒要在你家裏守逾越 節 。』」
18But Jesus said: Go ye into the city to a certain man, and say to him: the master saith, My time is near at hand, with thee I make the pasch with my disciples.
19門徒遵着耶穌所吩咐的就去預備了逾越 節的筵席 。
19And the disciples did as Jesus appointed to them, and they prepared the pasch.
20到了晚上，耶穌和十二個門徒坐席。
20But when it was evening, he sat down with his twelve disciples.
21正吃的時候，耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我了。」
21And whilst they were eating, he said: Amen I say to you, that one of you is about to betray me.
22他們就甚憂愁，一個一個地問他說：「主，是我嗎？」
22And they being very much troubled, began every one to say: Is it I, Lord?
23耶穌回答說：「同我蘸手在盤子裏的，就是他要賣我。
23But he answering, said: He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, he shall betray me.
24人子必要去世，正如 經上 指着他所寫的；但賣人子的人有禍了！那人不生在世上倒好。」
24The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man shall be betrayed: it were better for him, if that man had not been born.
25賣耶穌的 猶大 問他說：「拉比，是我嗎？」耶穌說：「你說的是。」
25And Judas that betrayed him, answering, said: Is it I, Rabbi? He saith to him: Thou hast said it.
26他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福，就擘開，遞給門徒，說：「你們拿着吃，這是我的身體」；
26And whilst they were at supper, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke: and gave to his disciples, and said: Take ye, and eat. This is my body.
27又拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給他們，說：「你們都喝這個；
27And taking the chalice, he gave thanks, and gave to them, saying: Drink ye all of this.
28因為這是我立約的血，為多人流出來，使罪得赦。
28For this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many unto remission of sins.
29但我告訴你們，從今以後，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直到我在我父的國裏同你們喝新的那日子。」
29And I say to you, I will not drink from henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I shall drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.
30他們唱了詩，就出來往 橄欖山 去。
30And a hymn being said, they went out unto mount Olivet.
31那時，耶穌對他們說：「今夜，你們為我的緣故都要跌倒。因為 經上 記着說： 我要擊打牧人， 羊就分散了。
31Then Jesus said to them: All you shall be scandalized in me this night. For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be dispersed.
32但我復活以後，要在你們以先往 加利利 去。」
32But after I shall be risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
33彼得 說：「眾人雖然為你的緣故跌倒，我卻永不跌倒。」
33And Peter answering, said to him: Although all shall be scandalized in thee, I will never be scandalized.
34耶穌說：「我實在告訴你，今夜雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」
34Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee, that in this night before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice.
35彼得 說：「我就是必須和你同死，也總不能不認你。」眾門徒都是這樣說。
35Peter saith to him: Yea, though I should die with thee, I will not deny thee. And in like manner said all the disciples.
36耶穌同門徒來到一個地方，名叫 客西馬尼 ，就對他們說：「你們坐在這裏，等我到那邊去禱告。」
36Then Jesus came with them into a country place which is called Gethsemani; and he said to his disciples: Sit you here, till I go yonder and pray.
37於是帶着 彼得 和 西庇太 的兩個兒子同去，就憂愁起來，極其難過，
37And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to grow sorrowful and to be sad.
38便對他們說：「我心裏甚是憂傷，幾乎要死；你們在這裏等候，和我一同警醒。」
38Then he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death: stay you here, and watch with me.
39他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：「我父啊，倘若可行，求你叫這杯離開我。然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思。」
39And going a little further, he fell upon his face, praying, and saying: My Father, if it be possible, let this chalice pass from me. Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40來到門徒那裏，見他們睡着了，就對 彼得 說：「怎麼樣？你們不能同我警醒片時嗎？
40And he cometh to his disciples, and findeth them asleep, and he saith to Peter: What? Could you not watch one hour with me?
41總要警醒禱告，免得入了迷惑。你們心靈固然願意，肉體卻軟弱了。」
41Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh weak.
42第二次又去禱告說：「我父啊，這杯若不能離開我，必要我喝，就願你的意旨成全。」
42Again the second time, he went and prayed, saying: My Father, if this chalice may not pass away, but I must drink it, thy will be done.
43又來，見他們睡着了，因為他們的眼睛困倦。
43And he cometh again and findeth them sleeping: for their eyes were heavy.
44耶穌又離開他們去了。第三次禱告，說的話還是與先前一樣。
44And leaving them, he went again: and he prayed the third time, saying the selfsame word.
45於是來到門徒那裏，對他們說：「現在你們仍然睡覺安歇吧！時候到了，人子被賣在罪人手裏了。
45Then he cometh to his disciples, and saith to them: Sleep ye now and take your rest; behold the hour is at hand, and the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46起來！我們走吧。看哪，賣我的人近了！」
46Rise, let us go: behold he is at hand that will betray me.
47說話之間，那十二個門徒裏的 猶大 來了，並有許多人帶着刀棒，從祭司長和民間的長老那裏與他同來。
47As he yet spoke, behold Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the ancients of the people.
48那賣耶穌的給了他們一個暗號，說：「我與誰親嘴，誰就是他。你們可以拿住他。」
48And he that betrayed him, gave them a sign, saying: Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he, hold him fast.
49猶大 隨即到耶穌跟前，說：「請拉比安」，就與他親嘴。
49And forthwith coming to Jesus, he said: Hail, Rabbi. And he kissed him.
50耶穌對他說：「朋友，你來要做的事，就做吧。」於是那些人上前，下手拿住耶穌。
50And Jesus said to him: Friend, whereto art thou come? Then they came up, and laid hands on Jesus, and held him.
51有跟隨耶穌的一個人伸手拔出刀來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他一個耳朵。
51And behold one of them that were with Jesus, stretching forth his hand, drew out his sword: and striking the servant of the high priest, cut off his ear.
52耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。
52Then Jesus saith to him: Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
53你想，我不能求我父現在為我差遣十二營多天使來嗎？
53Thinkest thou that I cannot ask my Father, and he will give me presently more than twelve legions of angels?
54若是這樣，經上所說，事情必須如此的話怎麼應驗呢？」
54How then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that so it must be done?
55當時，耶穌對眾人說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？我天天坐在殿裏教訓人，你們並沒有拿我。
55In that same hour Jesus said to the multitudes: You are come out as it were to a robber with swords and clubs to apprehend me. I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you laid not hands on me.
56但這一切的事成就了，為要應驗先知書上的話。」當下，門徒都離開他，逃走了。
56Now all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then the disciples all leaving him, fled.
57拿耶穌的人把他帶到大祭司 該亞法 那裏去；文士和長老已經在那裏聚會。
57But they holding Jesus led him to Caiphas the high priest, where the scribes and the ancients were assembled.
58彼得 遠遠地跟着耶穌，直到大祭司的院子，進到裏面，就和差役同坐，要看這事到底怎樣。
58And Peter followed him afar off, even to the court of the high priest. And going in, he sat with the servants, that he might see the end.
59祭司長和全公會尋找假見證控告耶穌，要治死他。
59And the chief priests and the whole council sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death:
60雖有好些人來作假見證，總得不着實據。末後有兩個人前來，說：
60And they found not, whereas many false witnesses had come in. And last of all there came two false witnesses:
61「這個人曾說：『我能拆毀上帝的殿，三日內又建造起來。』」
61And they said: This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and after three days to rebuild it.
62大祭司就站起來，對耶穌說：「你甚麼都不回答嗎？這些人作見證告你的是甚麼呢？」
62And the high priest rising up, said to him: Answerest thou nothing to the things which these witness against thee?
63耶穌卻不言語。大祭司對他說：「我指着永生上帝叫你起誓告訴我們，你是上帝的兒子基督不是？」
63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him: I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us if thou be the Christ the Son of God.
64耶穌對他說：「你說的是。然而，我告訴你們，後來你們要看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊，駕着天上的雲降臨。」
64Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
65大祭司就撕開衣服，說：「他說了僭妄的話，我們何必再用見證人呢？這僭妄的話，現在你們都聽見了。
65Then the high priests rent his garments, saying: He hath blasphemed; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy:
66你們的意見如何？」他們回答說：「他是該死的。」
66What think you? But they answering, said: He is guilty of death.
67他們就吐唾沫在他臉上，用拳頭打他，也有用手掌打他的，說：
67Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him: and others struck his face with the palms of their hands,
68「基督啊！你是先知，告訴我們打你的是誰？」
68Saying: Prophesy unto us, O Christ, who is he that struck thee?
69彼得 在外面院子裏坐着，有一個使女前來，說：「你素來也是同那 加利利 人耶穌一夥的。」
69But Peter sat without in the court: and there came to him a servant maid, saying: Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilean.
70彼得 在眾人面前卻不承認，說：「我不知道你說的是甚麼！」
70But he denied before them all, saying: I know not what thou sayest.
71既出去，到了門口，又有一個 使女 看見他，就對那裏的人說：「這個人也是同 拿撒勒 人耶穌一夥的。」
71And as he went out of the gate, another maid saw him, and she saith to them that were there: This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth.
72彼得 又不承認，並且起誓說：「我不認得那個人。」
72And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man.
73過了不多的時候，旁邊站着的人前來，對 彼得 說：「你真是他們一黨的，你的口音把你露出來了。」
73And after a little while they came that stood by, and said to Peter: Surely thou also art one of them; for even thy speech doth discover thee.
74彼得 就發咒起誓地說：「我不認得那個人。」立時，雞就叫了。
74Then he began to curse and to swear that he knew not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
75彼得 想起耶穌所說的話：「雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」他就出去痛哭。
75And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which he had said: Before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice. And going forth, he wept bitterly.
