1先知 哈巴谷 的禱告，調用流離歌。
1A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. Upon Shigionoth.
2耶和華啊，我聽見你的名聲就懼怕。 耶和華啊，求你在這些年間復興你的作為， 在這些年間顯明出來； 在發怒的時候以憐憫為念。
2O LORD, I have heard the report of Thee, and am afraid; O LORD, revive Thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember compassion.
3上帝從 提幔 而來； 聖者從 巴蘭山 臨到。 （細拉） 他的榮光遮蔽諸天； 頌讚充滿大地。
3God cometh from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covereth the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise.
4他的輝煌如同日光； 從他手裏 射出 光線， 在其中藏着他的能力。
4And a brightness appeareth as the light; rays hath He at His side; and there is the hiding of His power.
5在他前面有瘟疫流行； 在他腳下有熱症發出。
5Before him goeth the pestilence, and fiery bolts go forth at His feet.
6他站立，量了大地， 觀看，趕散萬民。 永久的山崩裂； 長存的嶺塌陷； 他的作為與古時一樣。
6He standeth, and shaketh the earth, He beholdeth, and maketh the nations to tremble; and the everlasting mountains are dashed in pieces, the ancient hills do bow; His goings are as of old.
7我見 古珊 的帳棚遭難， 米甸 的幔子戰兢。
7I see the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian do tremble.
8耶和華啊，你乘在馬上， 坐在得勝的車上， 豈是不喜悅江河、 向江河發怒氣、 向洋海發憤恨嗎？
8Is it, O LORD, that against the rivers, is it that Thine anger is kindled against the rivers, or Thy wrath against the sea? that Thou dost ride upon Thy horses, upon Thy chariots of victory?
9你的弓全然顯露， 向眾支派所起的誓都是 可信的 。 （細拉） 你以江河分開大地。
9Thy bow is made quite bare; sworn are the rods of the word. Selah. Thou dost cleave the earth with rivers.
10山嶺見你，無不戰懼； 大水氾濫過去， 深淵發聲，洶湧翻騰。
10The mountains have seen Thee, and they tremble; the tempest of waters floweth over; the deep uttereth its voice, and lifteth up its hands on high.
11因你的箭射出發光， 你的槍閃出光耀， 日月都在本宮停住。
11The sun and moon stand still in their habitation; at the light of Thine arrows as they go, at the shining of Thy glittering spear.
12你發忿恨通行大地， 發怒氣責打列國，如同打糧。
12Thou marchest through the earth in indignation, Thou threshest the nations in anger.
13你出來要拯救你的百姓， 拯救你的受膏者， 打破惡人家長的頭， 露出他的腳，直到頸項。 （細拉）
13Thou art come forth for the deliverance of Thy people, for the deliverance of Thine anointed; Thou woundest the head out of the house of the wicked, uncovering the foundation even unto the neck. Selah
14你用 敵人的 戈矛刺透他戰士的頭； 他們來如旋風，要將我們分散。 他們所喜愛的是暗中吞吃貧民。
14Thou hast stricken through with his own rods the head of his rulers, that come as a whirlwind to scatter me; whose rejoicing is as to devour the poor secretly.
15你乘馬踐踏 紅海 ， 就是踐踏洶湧的大水。
15Thou hast trodden the sea with Thy horses, the foaming of mighty waters.
16我聽見 耶和華的 聲音， 身體戰兢，嘴唇發顫， 骨中朽爛； 我在所立之處戰兢。 我只可安靜等候災難之日臨到， 犯境之民上來。
16When I heard, mine inward parts trembled, my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness entereth into my bones, and I tremble where I stand; that I should wait for the day of trouble, when he cometh up against the people that he invadeth.
17雖然無花果樹不發旺， 葡萄樹不結果， 橄欖樹也不效力， 田地不出糧食， 圈中絕了羊， 棚內也沒有牛；
17For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls;
18然而，我要因耶和華歡欣， 因救我的上帝喜樂。
18Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will exult in the God of my salvation.
19主耶和華是我的力量； 他使我的腳快如母鹿的 蹄 ， 又使我穩行在高處。 這歌交與伶長，用絲弦的樂器。
19God, the Lord, is my strength, and He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and He maketh me to walk upon my high places. For the Leader. With my string-music.
