1但愿我的头为水， 我的眼为泪的泉源， 我好为我百姓中被杀的人昼夜哭泣。
1(8-23) Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
2惟愿我在旷野有行路人住宿之处， 使我可以离开我的民出去； 因他们都是行奸淫的， 是行诡诈的一党。
2(9-1) Oh that I were in the wilderness, in a lodging-place of wayfaring men, that I might leave my people, and go from them! For they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
3他们弯起舌头像弓一样， 为要说谎话。 他们在国中增长势力， 不是为行诚实， 乃是恶上加恶， 并不认识我。 这是耶和华说的。
3(9-2) And they bend their tongue, their bow of falsehood; and they are grown mighty in the land, but not for truth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and Me they know not, saith the LORD.
4你们各人当谨防邻舍， 不可信靠弟兄； 因为弟兄尽行欺骗， 邻舍都往来谗谤人。
4(9-3) Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother; for every brother acteth subtly, and every neighbour goeth about with slanders.
5他们各人欺哄邻舍，不说真话； 他们教舌头学习说谎， 劳劳碌碌地作孽。
5(9-4) And they deceive every one his neighbour, and truth they speak not; they have taught their tongue to speak lies, they weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6你的住处在诡诈的人中； 他们因行诡诈，不肯认识我。 这是耶和华说的。
6(9-5) Thy habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, saith the LORD.
7所以万军之耶和华如此说： 看哪，我要将他们熔化熬炼； 不然，我因我百姓 的罪 该怎样行呢？
7(9-6) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts: Behold, I will smelt them, and try them; for how else should I do, because of the daughter of My people?
8他们的舌头是毒箭，说话诡诈； 人与邻舍口说和平话， 心却谋害他。
8(9-7) Their tongue is a sharpened arrow, it speaketh deceit; one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in his heart he layeth wait for him.
9耶和华说：我岂不因这些事讨他们的罪呢？ 岂不报复这样的国民呢？
9(9-8) Shall I not punish them for these things? saith the LORD; Shall not My soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
10我要为山岭哭泣悲哀， 为旷野的草场扬声哀号； 因为都已干焦，甚至无人经过。 人也听不见牲畜鸣叫， 空中的飞鸟和 地上的 野兽都已逃去。
10(9-9) For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none passeth through. And they hear not the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled, and gone.
11我必使 耶路撒冷 变为乱堆，为野狗的住处， 也必使 犹大 的城邑变为荒场，无人居住。
11(9-10) And I will make Jerusalem heaps, a lair of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without an inhabitant.
12谁是智慧人，可以明白这事？耶和华的口向谁说过，使他可以传说？遍地为何灭亡，干焦好像旷野，甚至无人经过呢？
12(9-11) Who is the wise man, that he may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it? Wherefore is the land perished and laid waste like a wilderness, so that none passeth through?
13耶和华说：「因为这百姓离弃我在他们面前所设立的律法，没有遵行，也没有听从我的话；
13(9-12) And the LORD saith: Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not hearkened to My voice, neither walked therein;
14只随从自己顽梗的心行事，照他们列祖所教训的随从众 巴力 。」
14(9-13) But have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baalim, which their fathers taught them.
15所以万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：「看哪，我必将茵 给这百姓吃，又将苦胆水给他们喝。
15(9-14) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
16我要把他们散在列邦中，就是他们和他们列祖素不认识的列邦。我也要使刀剑追杀他们，直到将他们灭尽。」
16(9-15) I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them.
17万军之耶和华如此说： 你们应当思想， 将 善 唱哀歌的妇女召来， 又打发人召善 哭 的妇女来，
17(9-16) Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for the wise women, that they may come;
18叫她们速速为我们举哀， 使我们眼泪汪汪， 使我们的眼皮涌出水来。
18(9-17) And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
19因为听见哀声出于 锡安 ， 说 ： 我们怎样败落了！ 我们大大地惭愧！ 我们撇下地土； 人也拆毁了我们的房屋。
19(9-18) For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion: 'How are we undone! We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.'
20妇女们哪，你们当听耶和华的话， 领受他口中的言语； 又当教导你们的儿女举哀， 各人教导邻舍唱哀歌。
20(9-19) Yea, hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of His mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation:
21因为死亡上来， 进了我们的窗户， 入了我们的宫殿； 要从外边剪除孩童， 从街上剪除少年人。
21(9-20) 'For death is come up into our windows, it is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from the street, and the young men from the broad places. —
22你当说，耶和华如此说： 人的尸首必倒在田野像粪土， 又像收割的人遗落的一把 禾稼 ， 无人收取。
22(9-21) Speak: Thus saith the LORD — And the carcasses of men fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, which none gathereth.'
23耶和华如此说：「智慧人不要因他的智慧夸口，勇士不要因他的勇力夸口，财主不要因他的财物夸口。
23(9-22) Thus saith the LORD: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches;
24夸口的却因他有聪明，认识我是耶和华，又知道我喜悦在世上施行慈爱、公平，和公义，以此夸口。这是耶和华说的。」
24(9-23) But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth, and knoweth Me, that I am the LORD who exercise mercy, justice, and righteousness, in the earth; for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
25耶和华说：「看哪，日子将到，我要刑罚一切受过割礼、 心 却未受割礼的，
25(9-24) Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them that are circumcised in their uncircumcision:
26就是 埃及 、 犹大 、 以东 、 亚扪 人、 摩押 人，和一切住在旷野剃周围 头发 的；因为列国人都没有受割礼， 以色列 人心中也没有受割礼。」
26(9-25) Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that have the corners of their hair polled, that dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, but all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.
