1耶和华的话临到我说：
1And the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
2「你去向 耶路撒冷 人的耳中喊叫说，耶和华如此说： 你幼年的恩爱， 婚姻的爱情， 你怎样在旷野， 在未曾耕种之地跟随我， 我都记得。
2Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying: Thus saith the LORD: I remember for thee the affection of thy youth, the love of thine espousals; how thou wentest after Me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
3那时 以色列 归耶和华为圣， 作为土产初熟的果子； 凡吞吃它的必算为有罪， 灾祸必临到他们。 这是耶和华说的。
3Israel is the LORD'S hallowed portion, His first-fruits of the increase; all that devour him shall be held guilty, evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
4雅各 家、 以色列 家的各族啊，你们当听耶和华的话。
4Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel;
5耶和华如此说： 你们的列祖见我有什么不义， 竟远离我，随从虚无的神， 自己成为虚妄的呢？
5Thus saith the LORD: What unrighteousness have your fathers found in Me, that they are gone far from Me, and have walked after things of nought, and are become nought?
6他们也不说： 那领我们从 埃及 地上来， 引导我们经过旷野， 沙漠有深坑之地， 和干旱死荫、无人经过、 无人居住之地的耶和华在哪里呢？
6Neither said they: 'Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt; that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?'
7我领你们进入肥美之地， 使你们得吃其中的果子和美物； 但你们进入的时候就玷污我的地， 使我的产业成为可憎的。
7And I brought you into a land of fruitful fields, to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled My land, and made My heritage an abomination.
8祭司都不说，耶和华在哪里呢？ 传讲律法的都不认识我。 官长违背我； 先知借 巴力 说预言， 随从无益的 神 。
8The priests said not: 'Where is the LORD?' And they that handle the law knew Me not, and the rulers transgressed against Me; the prophets also prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
9耶和华说：我因此必与你们争辩， 也必与你们的子孙争辩。
9Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.
10你们且过到 基提 海岛去察看， 打发人往 基达 去留心查考， 看曾有这样的事没有。
10For pass over to the isles of the Kittites, and see, and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there hath been such a thing.
11岂有一国换了 他的 神吗？ 其实这不是神！ 但我的百姓将他们的荣耀换了那无益的 神 。
11Hath a nation changed its gods, which yet are no gods? But My people hath changed its glory for that which doth not profit.
12诸天哪，要因此惊奇， 极其恐慌，甚为凄凉！ 这是耶和华说的。
12Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye exceeding amazed, saith the LORD.
13因为我的百姓做了两件恶事， 就是离弃我这活水的泉源， 为自己凿出池子， 是破裂不能存水的池子。
13For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
14以色列 是仆人吗？ 是家中生的 奴仆 吗？ 为何成为掠物呢？
14Is Israel a servant? Is he a home-born slave? Why is he become a prey?
15少壮狮子向他咆哮，大声吼叫， 使他的地荒凉； 城邑也都焚烧，无人居住。
15The young lions have roared upon him, and let their voice resound; and they have made his land desolate, his cities are laid waste, without inhabitant.
16挪弗 人和 答比匿 人也打破你的头顶。
16The children also of Noph and Tahpanhes feed upon the crown of thy head.
17这事临到你身上，不是你自招的吗？ 不是因耶和华—你 神引你行路的时候， 你离弃他吗？
17Is it not this that doth cause it unto thee, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when He led thee by the way?
18现今你为何在 埃及 路上要喝 西曷 的水呢？ 你为何在 亚述 路上要喝大河的水呢？
18And now what hast thou to do in the way to Egypt, to drink the waters of Shihor? Or what hast thou to do in the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?
19你自己的恶必惩治你； 你背道的事必责备你。 由此可知可见，你离弃耶和华—你的 神， 不存敬畏我的心， 乃为恶事，为苦事。 这是主—万军之耶和华说的。
19Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil and a bitter thing, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, neither is My fear in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
20我在古时折断你的轭，解开你的绳索。 你说：我必不事奉 耶和华 ； 因为你在各高冈上、各青翠树下屈身行淫。
20For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands, and thou saidst: 'I will not transgress'; upon every high hill and under every leafy tree thou didst recline, playing the harlot.
21然而，我栽你是上等的葡萄树， 全然是真种子； 你怎么向我变为外邦葡萄树的坏枝子呢？
21Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed; how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto Me?
22你虽用硷、多用肥皂洗濯， 你罪孽的痕迹仍然在我面前显出。 这是主耶和华说的。
22For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before Me, saith the Lord GOD.
23你怎能说： 我没有玷污、没有随从众 巴力 ？ 你看你谷中的路，就知道你所行的如何。 你是快行的独峰驼，狂奔乱走。
23How canst thou say: 'I am not defiled, I have not gone after the Baalim'? See thy way in the Valley, know what thou hast done; thou art a swift young camel traversing her ways;
24你是野驴，惯在旷野， 欲心发动就吸风； 起性的时候谁能使它转去呢？ 凡寻找它的必不致疲乏； 在它的月分必能寻见。
24A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind in her desire; her lust, who can hinder it? All they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.
25我 说 ：你不要使脚上无鞋， 喉咙干渴。 你倒说：这是枉然。 我喜爱别 神 ，我必随从他们。
25Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst; but thou saidst: 'There is no hope; no, for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.'
26贼被捉拿，怎样羞愧， 以色列 家和他们的君王、首领、 祭司、先知也都照样羞愧。
26As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets;
27他们向木头说：你是我的父； 向石头说：你是生我的。 他们以背向我， 不以面向我； 及至遭遇患难的时候却说： 起来拯救我们。
27Who say to a stock: 'Thou art my father', and to a stone: 'Thou hast brought us forth', for they have turned their back unto Me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say: 'Arise, and save us.'
28你为自己做的神在哪里呢？ 你遭遇患难的时候， 叫他们起来拯救你吧！ 犹大 啊，你神的数目与你城的数目相等。
28But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? Let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble; for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
29耶和华说： 你们为何与我争辩呢？ 你们都违背了我。
29Wherefore will ye contend with Me? Ye all have transgressed against Me, saith the LORD.
30我责打你们的儿女是徒然的， 他们不受惩治。 你们自己的刀吞灭你们的先知， 好像残害的狮子。
30In vain have I smitten your children — they received no correction; your sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
31这世代的人哪， 你们要看明耶和华的话。 我岂向 以色列 作旷野呢？ 或作幽暗之地呢？ 我的百姓为何说： 我们脱离约束，再不归向你了？
31O generation, see ye the word of the LORD: have I been a wilderness unto Israel? or a land of thick darkness? Wherefore say My people: 'We roam at large; we will come no more unto Thee'?
32处女岂能忘记她的妆饰呢？ 新妇岂能忘记她的美衣呢？ 我的百姓却忘记了我无数的日子！
32Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.
33你怎么修饰你的道路要求爱情呢？ 就是恶劣的妇人你也叫她们行你的路。
33How trimmest thou thy way to seek love! Therefore — even the wicked women hast thou taught thy ways;
34并且你的衣襟上有无辜穷人的血； 你杀他们 并不是遇见他们挖窟窿， 乃是因这一切的事。
34Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the innocent poor; thou didst not find them breaking in; yet for all these things
35你还说：我无辜； 耶和华的怒气必定向我消了。 看哪，我必审问你； 因你自说：我没有犯罪。
35Thou saidst: 'I am innocent; surely His anger is turned away from me' — behold, I will enter into judgment with thee, because thou sayest: 'I have not sinned.'
36你为何东跑西奔要更换你的路呢？ 你必因 埃及 蒙羞， 像从前因 亚述 蒙羞一样。
36How greatly dost thou cheapen thyself to change thy way? Thou shalt be ashamed of Egypt also, as thou wast ashamed of Asshur.
37你也必两手抱头从 埃及 出来； 因为耶和华已经弃绝你所倚靠的， 你必不因他们得顺利。
37From him also shalt thou go forth, with thy hands upon thy head; for the LORD hath rejected them in whom thou didst trust, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
