1耶和华如此说： 我必使毁灭的风刮起， 攻击 巴比伦 和住在 立加米 的人。
1Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in Leb-kamai, a destroying wind.
2我要打发外邦人来到 巴比伦 ， 簸扬她，使她的地空虚。 在她遭祸的日子， 他们要周围攻击她。
2And I will send unto Babylon strangers, that shall fan her, and they shall empty her land; for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
3拉弓的，要向拉弓的和贯甲挺身的射箭。 不要怜惜她的少年人； 要灭尽她的全军。
3Let the archer bend his bow against her, and let him lift himself up against her in his coat of mail; and spare ye not her young men, destroy ye utterly all her host.
4他们必在 迦勒底 人之地被杀仆倒， 在 巴比伦 的街上被刺透。
4And they shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.
5以色列 和 犹大 虽然境内充满违背 以色列 圣者的罪， 却没有被他的 神—万军之耶和华丢弃。
5For Israel is not widowed, nor Judah, of his God, of the LORD of hosts; for their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.
6你们要从 巴比伦 中逃奔， 各救自己的性命！ 不要陷在她的罪孽中一同灭亡； 因为这是耶和华报仇的时候， 他必向 巴比伦 施行报应。
6Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life, be not cut off in her iniquity; for it is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; He will render unto her a recompense.
7巴比伦 素来是耶和华手中的金杯， 使天下沉醉； 万国喝了她的酒就颠狂了。
7Babylon hath been a golden cup in LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken; the nations have drunk of her wine, therefore the nations are mad.
8巴比伦 忽然倾覆毁坏； 要为她哀号； 为止她的疼痛， 拿乳香或者可以治好。
8Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed, wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
9我们想医治 巴比伦 ， 她却没有治好。 离开她吧！我们各人归回本国； 因为她受的审判通于上天，达到穹苍。
9We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed; forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
10耶和华已经彰显我们的公义。 来吧！我们可以在 锡安 报告耶和华—我们 神的作为。
10The LORD hath brought forth our victory; come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.
11你们要磨尖了箭头， 抓住盾牌。 耶和华定意攻击 巴比伦 ，将她毁灭，所以激动了 米底亚 君王的心；因这是耶和华报仇，就是为自己的殿报仇。
11Make bright the arrows, fill the quivers, the LORD hath roused the spirit of the kings of the Medes; because His device is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of His temple.
12你们要竖立大旗， 攻击 巴比伦 的城墙； 要坚固了望台， 派定守望的设下埋伏； 因为耶和华指着 巴比伦 居民所说的话、 所定的意，他已经作成。
12Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for the LORD hath both devised and done that which He spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.
13住在众水之上多有财宝的啊， 你的结局到了！ 你贪婪之量满了！
13O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, the measure of thy covetousness.
14万军之耶和华指着自己起誓 说 ： 我必使 敌 人充满你，像蚂蚱一样； 他们必呐喊攻击你。
14The LORD of hosts hath sworn by Himself: Surely I will fill thee with men, as with the canker-worm, and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
15耶和华用能力创造大地， 用智慧建立世界， 用聪明铺张穹苍。
15He that hath made the earth by His power, that hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discernment;
16他一发声，空中便有多水激动； 他使云雾从地极上腾。 他造电随雨而闪， 从他府库中带出风来。
16At the sound of His giving a multitude of waters in the heavens, He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings at the time of the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of His treasuries;
17各人都成了畜类，毫无知识。 各银匠都因他的偶像羞愧； 他所铸的偶像本是虚假的， 其中并无气息，
17Every man is proved to be brutish, for the knowledge — every goldsmith is put to shame by the graven image — that his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
18都是虚无的，是迷惑人的工作， 到追讨的时候，必被除灭。
18They are vanity, a work of delusion; in the time of their visitation they shall perish,
19雅各 的分不像这些， 因他是造作万有的 主 ； 以色列 也是他产业的支派。 万军之耶和华是他的名。
19The portion of Jacob is not like these; for He is the former of all things, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; the LORD of hosts is His name.
20你是我争战的斧子和打仗的兵器； 我要用你打碎列国， 用你毁灭列邦；
20Thou art My maul and weapons of war, and with thee will I shatter the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
21用你打碎马和骑马的； 用你打碎战车和坐在其上的；
21And with thee will I shatter the horse and his rider, and with thee will I shatter the chariot and him that rideth therein;
22用你打碎男人和女人； 用你打碎老年人和少年人； 用你打碎壮丁和处女；
22And with thee will I shatter man and woman, and with thee will I shatter the old man and the youth, and with thee will I shatter the young man and the maid;
23用你打碎牧人和他的群畜； 用你打碎农夫和他一对 牛 ； 用你打碎省长和副省长。
23And with thee will I shatter the shepherd and his flock, and with thee will I shatter the husbandman and his yoke of oxen, and with thee will I shatter governors and deputies.
24耶和华说：「我必在你们眼前报复 巴比伦 人和 迦勒底 居民在 锡安 所行的诸恶。」
24And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion, in your sight; saith the LORD.
25耶和华说： 你这行毁灭的山哪， 就是毁灭天下的山， 我与你反对。 我必向你伸手， 将你从山岩滚下去， 使你成为烧毁的山。
25Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth; and I will stretch out My hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
26人必不从你那里取石头为房角石， 也不取石头为根基石； 你必永远荒凉。 这是耶和华说的。
26And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.
27要在境内竖立大旗， 在各国中吹角， 使列国预备攻击 巴比伦 ， 将 亚拉腊 、 米尼 、 亚实基拿 各国招来攻击她； 又派军长来攻击她， 使马匹上来如蚂蚱，
27Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the horn among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz; appoint a marshal against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough canker-worm.
28使列国和 米底亚 君王，与省长和副省长， 并他们所管全地之人，都预备攻击她。
28Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, the governors thereof, and all the deputies thereof, and all the land of his dominion.
29地必震动而瘠苦； 因耶和华向 巴比伦 所定的旨意成立了， 使 巴比伦 之地荒凉，无人居住。
29And the land quaketh and is in pain; for the purposes of the LORD are performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.
30巴比伦 的勇士止息争战， 藏在坚垒之中。 他们的勇力衰尽，好像妇女一样。 巴比伦 的住处有火着起， 门闩都折断了。
30The mighty men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they remain in their strongholds; their might hath failed, they are become as women; her dwelling-places are set on fire; her bars are broken.
31跑报的要彼此相遇， 送信的要互相迎接， 报告 巴比伦 王说： 城的四方被攻取了，
31One post runneth to meet another, and one messenger to meet an other, to tell the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter;
32渡口被占据了， 苇塘被火烧了， 兵丁也惊慌了。
32And the fords are seized, and the castles they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.
33万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说： 巴比伦 城好像踹谷的禾场； 再过片时，收割她的时候就到了。
33For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing-floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.
34以色列 人说： 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 吞灭我，压碎我， 使我成为空虚的器皿。 他像大鱼将我吞下， 用我的美物充满他的肚腹， 又将我赶出去。
34Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath set me down as an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his maw with my delicacies; he hath washed me clean.
35锡安 的居民要说： 巴比伦 以强暴待我， 损害我的身体， 愿这罪归给她。 耶路撒冷 人要说： 愿流我们血的罪归到 迦勒底 的居民。
35'The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon', shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and: 'My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea', shall Jerusalem say.
36所以，耶和华如此说： 我必为你伸冤，为你报仇； 我必使 巴比伦 的海枯竭，使她的泉源干涸。
36Therefore thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.
37巴比伦 必成为乱堆，为野狗的住处， 令人惊骇、嗤笑， 并且无人居住。
37And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling-place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.
38他们要像少壮狮子咆哮， 像小狮子吼叫。
38They shall roar together like young lions; they shall growl as lions' whelps.
39他们火热的时候， 我必为他们设摆酒席， 使他们沉醉，好叫他们快乐， 睡了长觉，永不醒起。 这是耶和华说的。
39With their poison I will prepare their feast, and I will make them drunken, that they may be convulsed, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.
40我必使他们像羊羔、 像公绵羊和公山羊下到宰杀之地。
40I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats.
41示沙克 何竟被攻取？ 天下所称赞的何竟被占据？ 巴比伦 在列国中何竟变为荒场？
41How is Sheshach taken! and the praise of the whole earth seized! How is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!
42海水涨起，漫过 巴比伦 ； 她被许多海浪遮盖。
42The sea is come up upon Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
43她的城邑变为荒场、旱地、沙漠， 无人居住，无人经过之地。
43Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
44我必刑罚 巴比伦 的 彼勒 ， 使他吐出所吞的。 万民必不再流归他那里； 巴比伦 的城墙也必坍塌了。
44And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up, and the nations shall not flow any more unto him; yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
45我的民哪，你们要从其中出去！ 各人拯救自己，躲避耶和华的烈怒。
45My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of the LORD.
46你们不要心惊胆怯， 也不要因境内所听见的风声惧怕； 因为这年有风声传来； 那年也有风声 传来 ， 境内有强暴的事， 官长攻击官长。
46And let not your heart faint, neither fear ye, for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; for a rumour shall come one year, and after that in another year a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
47日子将到，我必刑罚 巴比伦 雕刻的偶像。 她全地必然抱愧； 她被杀的人必在其中仆倒。
47Therefore behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon, and her whole land shall be ashamed; and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
48那时，天地和其中所有的， 必因 巴比伦 欢呼， 因为行毁灭的要从北方来到她那里。 这是耶和华说的。
48Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.
49巴比伦 怎样使 以色列 被杀的人仆倒， 照样她全地被杀的人也必在 巴比伦 仆倒。
49As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the land.
50你们躲避刀剑的要快走， 不要站住！ 要在远方记念耶和华， 心中追想 耶路撒冷 。
50Ye that have escaped the sword, go ye, stand not still; remember the LORD from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
51我们听见辱骂就蒙羞，满面惭愧， 因为外邦人进入耶和华殿的圣所。
51'We are ashamed, because we have heard reproach, confusion hath covered our faces; for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.'
52耶和华说： 日子将到，我必刑罚 巴比伦 雕刻的偶像， 通国受伤的人必唉哼。
52Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images; and through all her land the wounded shall groan.
53巴比伦 虽升到天上， 虽使她坚固的高处更坚固， 还有行毁灭的从我这里到她那里。 这是耶和华说的。
53Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from Me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
54有哀号的声音从 巴比伦 出来； 有大毁灭的响声从 迦勒底 人之地发出。
54Hark! a cry from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!
55因耶和华使 巴比伦 变为荒场， 使其中的大声灭绝。 仇敌仿佛众水， 波浪匉訇，响声已经发出。
55For the LORD spoileth Babylon, and destroyeth out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters, the noise of their voice is uttered;
56这是行毁灭的临到 巴比伦 。 巴比伦 的勇士被捉住， 他们的弓折断了； 因为耶和华是施行报应的 神， 必定施行报应。
56For the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, their bows are shattered; for the LORD is a God of recompenses, He will surely requite.
57君王—名为万军之耶和华的说： 我必使 巴比伦 的首领、 智慧人、省长、副省长，和勇士都沉醉， 使他们睡了长觉，永不醒起。
57And I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
58万军之耶和华如此说： 巴比伦 宽阔的城墙必全然倾倒； 她高大的城门必被火焚烧。 众民所劳碌的必致虚空； 列国所劳碌的被火焚烧， 他们都必困乏。
58Thus saith the LORD of hosts: The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labour for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.
59犹大 王 西底家 在位第四年，上 巴比伦 去的时候， 玛西雅 的孙子、 尼利亚 的儿子 西莱雅 与王同去（ 西莱雅 是王宫的大臣），先知 耶利米 有话吩咐他。
59The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was quartermaster.
60耶利米 将一切要临到 巴比伦 的灾祸，就是论到 巴比伦 的一切话，写在书上。
60And Jeremiah wrote in one book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.
61耶利米 对 西莱雅 说：「你到了 巴比伦 务要念这书上的话；
61And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: 'When thou comest to Babylon, then see that thou read all these words,
62又说：『耶和华啊，你曾论到这地方说：要剪除，甚至连人带牲畜没有在这里居住的，必永远荒凉。』
62and say: O LORD, Thou hast spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
63你念完了这书，就把一块石头拴在书上，扔在 幼发拉底河 中，
63And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates;
64说：『 巴比伦 因耶和华所要降与她的灾祸，必如此沉下去，不再兴起，人民也必困乏。』」 耶利米 的话到此为止。
64and thou shalt say: Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise again because of the evil that I will bring upon her; and they shall be weary.' Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
