Ioane 16

Meriam Mir Gospels
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Kaka emetu uabi detager abele gaire lu, ueakai uaba nole mar bamarida.
1These things have I spoken to you, that you may not be scandalized.
2Uiaba ko uabi dituaki sunagolam: kerker ko tabarki abele le uabi ipitare, E ko dikiapor E Ade ra dorge ikeli.
2They will put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth a service to God.
3Uiaba ko ikeli abele gaire lu, abelelam uiaba nole umer kak Aba, a kaka.
3And these things will they do to you; because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4Kaka uabi detagereda abele gaire lu, ueakai kerker tabarki, uaba ko dikiaporauem kaka emetu uabi detaut. Kaka nole uabi detager abele gaire lu gizlam, abelelam kaka uabi dog emri.
4But these things I have told you, that when the hour shall come, you may remember that I told you of them.
5Peirdi kai nabakeamulu abim kari namarida: nole nerute le uabielam kari eutumer, kega, Mai na gedim bakeam?
5But I told you not these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me: Whither goest thou?
6Uaba nerkep au okasosok, abelelam kaka uabi detager abele gaire mer.
6But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7Ege kaka uabi detager ageakar, kega, Debele uabim kaka bakeam: abelelam ese kaka nole bakeam, Upiatidar nole tabarki uabim: ese kaka bakeam, kaka ko abi emarida uabim.
7But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
8E emetu tabarki, E ko geseb ge akmerem tonar uit, a barkak, a mer barditug:
8And when he is come, he will convince the world of sin, and of justice, and of judgment.
9Uitelam, abelelam uiaba nole karim oituli:
9Of sin: because they believed not in me.
10Barkaklam, abelelam kaka Babaim bakeam, uaba nole iako kari asmer kak:
10And of justice: because I go to the Father; and you shall see me no longer.
11Mer bardituglam, abelelam emetu barditug geseb kole.
11And of judgment: because the prince of this world is already judged.
12Kara no nagri dordor lu ko uabi detager, epe peirdi uaba nole umer kak egaret.
12I have yet many things to say to you: but you cannot bear them now.
13Mamoro E tabarki, pe ageakar Lamar, E ko uabi eguatumur ageakar uridili: abelelam E nole tababu detaut: mamoro E ko detager abele gaire lu E asoli: uabi detomeret gaire lu ko tabarki.
13But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will teach you all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but what things soever he shall hear, he shall speak; and the things that are to come, he shall shew you.
14E ko kari naospili: abelelam E ko tais karielam, a uabi detomertare.
14He shall glorify me; because he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it to you.
15Abele gaire lu Babi dog kara lu; abelelam kaka detaut, kega, E ko karielam tais, a uabi detomertare.
15All things whatsoever the Father hath, are mine. Therefore I said, that he shall receive of mine, and shew it to you.
16Menaba, uaba nole kari asmer kak: iako menaba, uaba ko kari nasmer, abelelam kai Abem nabakeamulu.
16A little while, and now you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me: because I go to the Father.
17Uader abara kaimeg giz tababu mer atager, kega, Nalu E meribim detaut, kega, Menaba, uaba nole kari nasmer; iako menaba, uaba ko kari nasmer abelelem kai Abem nabakeamulu?
17Then some of the disciples said one to another: What is this that he saith to us: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me, and, because I go to the Father?
18Uiaba detager, kega, Nalu E detaut, kega, Menaba? Meriba nole akmer kak abele mer E detaut.
18They said therefore: What is this that he saith, A little while? we know not what he speaketh.
19Iesu umele uiaba laglag abim bautumer, E uiabim detaut, kega, Nako uaba uabu deraimerare kara merlam detaut, kega, Menaba, uaba nole kari nasmer, iako menaba, uaba ko kari nasmer?
19And Jesus knew that they had a mind to ask him; and he said to them: Of this do you inquire among yourselves, because I said: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me?
20Ageakar, ageakar, kaka uabi detagereda, kega, Ua ko ebazoli, a okabatagereda, a geseb ko sererge: uaba ko okasosok, abele uaba okasosok ko depegili ko sererge.
20Amen, amen I say to you, that you shall lament and weep, but the world shall rejoice; and you shall be made sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21Kosker maike esmelu E beber nerkep, abelelam abara kerker tabarki; emetu uerem esmelu, E nole iako dikiapor abele asiasi, abelelam E sererge nerute le geseb ge esmelu.
21A woman, when she is in labour, hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but when she hath brought forth the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22Peirdi, uaba nagri okasosok: kai iako uabi dasmer, ege uaba nerkep sererge, nole nerute le uabi sererge itker.
22So also you now indeed have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice; and your joy no man shall take from you.
23Abele gerger dali uaba nole nerute lu damos karielam. Ageakar, ageakar, kaka uabi detager, kega, Abele gaire lu uaba damos Babalam muige kara nei ge, E ko uabi dekuarare.
23And in that day you shall not ask me any thing. Amen, amen I say to you: if you ask the Father any thing in my name, he will give it you.
24Emeret a peirdi, uaba nole damos nerute lu muige kara nei ge: debele damsare, a uaba ko egaret, ueakai uaba sererge mitkar.
24Hitherto you have not asked any thing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full.
25Kaka emetu uabi detager abele gaire lu mer babisdarie: kerker ia uatabaruk, kaka nole uabi detager mer babisdarie, epe kaka ko uabim paret kak detaut Abem.
25These things I have spoken to you in proverbs. The hour cometh, when I will no more speak to you in proverbs, but will shew you plainly of the Father.
26Abele gerger, uaba ko damos kara neilam: kaka nole uabi detager, kega, Kaka Abem damos uabim.
26In that day you shall ask in my name; and I say not to you, that I will ask the Father for you:
27Aba uabi omare, abelelam uaba kari lag, a egaret, kega, Kaka Babalam.
27For the Father himself loveth you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28Kaka nabue Babalam, a gesepem tabarki: kaka iako geseb dekaelu, a Abem bakeam.
28I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father.
29Abara kaimeg giz abi detager, kega, Dasmer, peirdi, mama paret kak detaut, a nole mer babisdarie detaut.
29His disciples say to him: Behold, now thou speakest plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30Peirdi, keriba umele mama opasereret gaire lu uridili, nole lu kar marim nerute le ko marim eutumer: abelelam keriba dikiapor mama tarabu Adelam.
30Now we know that thou knowest all things, and thou needest not that any man should ask thee. By this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31Iesu uiabi detaut, kega, Nako, peirdi, uaba dikiapor?
31Jesus answered them: Do you now believe?
32Dasmer, kerker ko tabarki, ia ike, uaba ko kepu bamarida boaiem, a kaka tepteb: nolea kaka tepteb, abelelam Aba kari dog.
32Behold, the hour cometh, and it is now come, that you shall be scattered every man to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33Kaka uabi detager abele gaire lu, ueakai uaba mapodan nagri karielam. Uaba asiasi nagri geseb ge: ua ko saserim, kaka emetu geseb degmori.
33These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.
