1Так були перелїчені по своїх родах усї Ізрайлитяне, й оце вони записані в книги царів Ізраїлських. А Юдеї за свої проступки переведені в Вавилон.
1So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2Ті, що перші жили на своїх державах, по містах Ізраїлських, були Ізрайлитяни, сьвященники, левіти та нетинеї.
2¶ Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were , the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
3В Ерусалимі жили декотрі з потомків Юдиних, та деякі з потомків Беняминових, та з потомків Ефраїмових та Манассіїних:
3And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
4Утай, син Амміудів, сина Омріїного, сина Імрієвого, сина Ванїєвого, — з синів Перезових, Юдиного сина;
4Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
5З синів Шилона — Асаїя, перворідень і сини його;
5And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6З синів Зари — Еуїл та їх брати, шістсот девятьдесять;
6And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7Із синів Беняминових — Саллу, син Мешулламів, сина Годавіїного, сина Гассенуїного;
7And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,
8Та Івнїя, син Ерохамів, та Ела, син Уззія, Михрієвого сина, та Мешуллам, син Шефатіїв, сина Рагуїлового, сина Івнїїного,
8And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephathiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9І брати їх по родах їх: девятьсот пятьдесять шість, — усї сї були головями над родами в своїх поколїннях.
9And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chief of the fathers in the house of their fathers.
10А з сьвященників: Едаїя, Йоарив, Яхин,
10¶ And of the priests; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11І Азарія, син Хелкіїн, сина Мешулламового, сина Садокового, сина Мерайотового, сина Ахитувового, передовий сьвященник в домі Божому;
11And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12І Адаїя, син Ерохамів, сина Пашхурового, сина Малхіїного; та Маасай, син Адієла, сина Яхзерового, сина Мешулламового, сина Мешиллемитового, сина Іммерового;
12And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13І брати їх, голови над родами своїми: тисяч сїмсот шістьдесять, — люде пильні в дїлї служення в домі Божому.
13And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14А з левітів: Шемая, син Хашува, сина Азрикамового, сина Хашавіїного, — синів Мераріїних;
14And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15І Вакбакар, Хереш, Галал і Маттанїя, син Міхін, сина Зихрієвого, сина Асафового;
15And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
16І Обадія, син Шемаїїн, сина Галалового, сина Ідитунового; й Берехія, син Асин, Елканиного сина, що жив у селах Нетофатських.
16And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17А воротарі: Шаллум, Аккуб, Талмон та Ахиман та брати їх; Шаллум був головний.
17And the porters were , Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;
18І досї цї воротарі при воротях царських, що на схід сонця, держать (за чергою) сторожу з синів Левіїних.
18Who hitherto waited in the king’s gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
19Шаллум, син Корея, сина Евіясафового, сина Кореєвого, й брати його з його роду, Кореї, в дїлї своєї служби були сторожами при порогах сьвятинї, а батьки їх стерегли ввіходу в стан Господнїй.
19And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD , were keepers of the entry.
20Пинеес Елеазаренко був вперід старшим над ними, і Господь був з ним.
20And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
21Захарія Мешелемієнко був воротарем при дверях храму соборнього.
21And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22Усїх їх вибраних воротарями при порогах, було двістї дванайцять. Вони були записані в спис по своїх оселях. Їх настановив Давид та Самуїл-пророк задля їх вірностї.
22All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
23І вони й їх сини були на сторожі при брамах дому Господнього по пермінах своїх.
23So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD , namely , the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
24По чотирьох боках були воротарі: на схід, на захід, на північ і на південь.
24In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25А брати їх жили в своїх оселях, приходячи до них від часу до часу на сїм день.
25And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
26Цї чотири началні левіти мали собі повірених всїх воротарів; вони були пристановлені до житлів і до скарбівниць дому Божого.
26For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27Вони й ночі проводили навкруги дому Божого, бо до їх належало сторогуваннє, й вони мали що-ранку одмикати двері.
27¶ And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
28Декотрі зпоміж їх були пристановляні до службового посуду, так що з перелїчкою приймали його, й з перелїчкою видавали його.
28And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
29Декотрим зпоміж їх були поручені инші прибори й усе, що на сьвяту потріб: лїпше борошно, та вино, та олива, й ладан і пахощі.
29Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30А деякі зпоміж синів сьвященницьких робили миро з запашнього коріння.
30And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
31Матафії з левітів, — він перворідень Селлума Кореєнка, — було повірене те, що смажилось на сковородах.
31And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
32Декотрим з їх братів, із Кегатових синів, було поручено приладжуваннє хлїбів показних, щоб приготовляти їх на кожну суботу.
32And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33А сьпівцї, головні в левітських поколїннях, були в кімнатах храму, й свобідні від (иншої) служби, бо вони в день і в ночі мали свого дїла пильнувати.
33And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
34Це голови поколїнь левітських, в своїх родах головні. Вони жили в Ерусалимі:
34These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35В Габаонї жили: батько Габаонїїв, Еїл, — його жінка на ймя Мааха,
35¶ And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife’s name was Maachah:
36І син його перворідень Авдон, за ним Зур, Кис, Ваал, Нер, Надав,
36And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37Гедор, Ахіо, Захарія та Миклот.
37And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38Від Миклота народивсь Шимеам. І вони жили побіч братів своїх в Ерусалимі, вкупі з братами своїми.
38And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
39Від Нера народивсь Кис; від Киса народивсь Саул; від Саула народивсь Йонатан, Мелхисуй, Абинадаб та Ешбаал.
39And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
40Син в Йонатана Мериббаал; від Мериббаала народивсь Миха.
40And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begat Micah.
41Сини Михині: Питон, Мелех, Тарей (та Ахаз).
41And the sons of Micah were , Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz .
42Від Ахаза народивсь Яера; від Яери народились Алемет, Азмавет і Замбрій; від Замбрія народивсь Моза.
42And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43Від Мози народивсь Бинея; Рефаїя, його син; Елеаса, його син; Азел, його син.
43And Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44У Азела шість синів, оце вони на імення: Азрикам, Бохру, Ісмаїл, Шеарія, Обадія та Ханан. Це сини Азелові.
44And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
