1Ora, os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, os chefes das casas paternas e os comandantes de milhares e de centenas, e os seus oficiais que serviam ao rei em todos os assuntos das divisões que entravam e saíam mês a mês, durante todos os meses do ano — cada divisão tinha vinte e quatro mil homens.
1Now the children of Israel according to their number, the heads of families, captains of thousands and of hundreds, and officers, that served the king according to their companies, who came in and went out every month in the year, under every chief were four and twenty thousand.
2Sobre a primeira divisão, para o primeiro mês, estava Jasobeão, filho de Zabdiel. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
2Over the first company the first month Jesboam, the son of Zabdiel was chief, and under him were four and twenty thousand.
3Ele era dos filhos de Perez, o chefe de todos os comandantes do exército para o primeiro mês.
3Of the sons of Phares, the chief of all the captains in the host in the first month.
4Sobre a divisão do segundo mês estava Dodai, o aoíta, e sua divisão; e Miclote era o líder; e em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
4The company of the second month was under Dudia, an Ahohite, and after him was another named Macelloth, who commanded a part of the army of four and twenty thousand.
5O terceiro comandante do exército para o terceiro mês era Benaia, filho de Joiada, o sacerdote principal. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
5And the captain of the third company for the third month, was Banaias the son of Joiada the priest: and in his division were four and twenty thousand.
6Este é aquele Benaia que era o valente dos trinta e estava sobre os trinta. Em sua divisão estava Amizabade, seu filho.
6This is that Banaias the most valiant among the thirty, and above the thirty. And Amizabad his son commanded his company.
7O quarto comandante para o quarto mês era Asael, irmão de Joabe, e Zebadias, seu filho, depois dele. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
7The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zabadias his son after him: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
8O quinto comandante para o quinto mês era Samute, o izraíta. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
8The fifth captain for the fifth month, was Samaoth a Jezerite: and his company were four and twenty thousand.
9O sexto comandante para o sexto mês era Ira, filho de Iques, o tecoíta. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
9The sixth, for the sixth month, was Hira the son of Acces a Thecuite: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
10O sétimo comandante para o sétimo mês era Heles, o pelonita, dos filhos de Efraim. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
10The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helles a Phallonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
11O oitavo comandante para o oitavo mês era Sibecai, o husatita, dos zeraítas. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
11The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sobochai a Husathite of the race of Zarahi: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
12O nono comandante para o nono mês era Abiezer, o anatotita, dos benjamitas. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
12The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer an Anathothite of the sons of Jemini, and in His company were four and twenty thousand.
13O décimo comandante para o décimo mês era Maarai, o netofatita, dos zeraítas. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
13The tenth, for the tenth month, was Marai, who was a Netophathite of the race of Zarai: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
14O décimo primeiro comandante para o décimo primeiro mês era Benaia, o piratonita, dos filhos de Efraim. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
14The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Banaias, a Pharathonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
15O décimo segundo comandante para o décimo segundo mês era Heldai, o netofatita, de Otniel. Em sua divisão havia vinte e quatro mil.
15The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Holdai a Netophathite, of the race of Gothoniel: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
16Além disso, sobre as tribos de Israel: dos rubenitas, Eliezer, filho de Zicri, era o líder; dos simeonitas, Sefatias, filho de Maaca;
16Now the chiefs over the tribes of Israel were these: over the Rubenites, Eliezer the son of Zechri was ruler: over the Simeonites, Saphatias the son of Maacha:
17de Levi, Hasabias, filho de Quemuel; de Arão, Zadoque;
17Over the Levites, Hasabias the son of Camuel: over the Aaronites, Sadoc:
18de Judá, Eliú, um dos irmãos de Davi; de Issacar, Onri, filho de Micael;
18Over Juda, Eliu the brother of David: over Issachar, Amri the son of Michael:
19de Zebulom, Ismaías, filho de Obadias; de Naftali, Jeremote, filho de Azriel;
19Over the Zabulonites, Jesmaias the son of Adias: over the Nephtalites, Jerimoth the son of Ozriel:
20dos filhos de Efraim, Oseias, filho de Azazias; da meia tribo de Manassés, Joel, filho de Pedaías;
20Over the sons of Ephraim, Osee the: son of Ozaziu: over the half tribe of Manasses, Joel the son of Phadaia:
21da meia tribo de Manassés em Gileade, Ido, filho de Zacarias; de Benjamim, Jaasiel, filho de Abner;
21And over the half tribe of Manasses: in Galaad, Jaddo the son of Zacharias: and over Benjamin, Jasiel the son of Abner.
22de Dã, Azarel, filho de Jeroão. Estes eram os chefes das tribos de Israel.
22And over Dan, Ezrihel the son of Jeroham: these were the princes of the children of Israel.
23Mas Davi não tomou o número dos que tinham vinte anos para baixo, porque o SENHOR tinha dito que multiplicaria Israel como as estrelas do céu.
23But David would not number them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said that he would multiply Israel like the stars of heaven.
24Joabe, filho de Zeruia, começou a fazer um censo, mas não terminou; e a ira veio sobre Israel por causa disso. O número não foi incluído no registro das crônicas do rei Davi.
24Joab the son of Sarvia began to number, but he finished not: because upon this there fell wrath upon Israel: and therefore the number of them that were numbered, was not registered in the chronicles of king David.
25Sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmavete, filho de Adiel. Sobre os tesouros nos campos, nas cidades, nas aldeias e nas torres estava Jônatas, filho de Uzias;
25And over the king’s treasures was Azmoth the son of Adiel: and over those stores which were in the cities, and is the villages, and in the castles, was Jonathan the son of Ozias.
26Sobre os que faziam o trabalho do campo para o cultivo da terra estava Ezri, filho de Quelube.
26And over the tillage, and the husbandmen, who tilled the ground, was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27Sobre as vinhas estava Simei, o ramatita. Sobre a produção das vinhas para as adegas de vinho estava Zabdi, o sifmita.
27And over the dressers of the vineyards, was Semeias a Romathite: and over the wine cellars, Zabdias an Aphonite.
28Sobre as oliveiras e os sicômoros que estavam na baixada estava Baal-Hanã, o gederita. Sobre os armazéns de azeite estava Joás.
28And over the oliveyards and the fig groves, which were in the plains, was Balanam a Gederite: and over the oil cellars, Joas.
29Sobre os rebanhos que pastavam em Sarom estava Sitrai, o saronita. Sobre os rebanhos que estavam nos vales estava Safate, filho de Adlai.
29And over the herds that fed in Saron, was Setrai a Saronite: and over the. oxen in the valleys, Saphat the son of Adli:
30Sobre os camelos estava Obil, o ismaelita. Sobre os jumentos estava Jedias, o meronotita. Sobre os rebanhos de ovelhas estava Jaziz, o hagareno.
30And over the camels, Ubil an Ishmahelite: and over the asses, Jadias a Meronathite:
31Todos estes eram os administradores dos bens que pertenciam ao rei Davi.
31And over the sheep Jazia an Agarene. All these were the rulers of the substance of king David.
32Também Jônatas, tio de Davi, era conselheiro, homem de entendimento e escriba. Jeiel, filho de Hacmoni, estava com os filhos do rei.
32And Jonathan David’s uncle, a counsellor, a wise and learned man: he and Jahiel the son of Hachamoni were with the king’s sons.
33Aitofel era o conselheiro do rei. Husai, o arquita, era o amigo do rei.
33And Achitophel was the king’s counsellor, and Chusai the Arachite, the king’s friend.
34Depois de Aitofel estavam Joiada, filho de Benaia, e Abiatar. Joabe era o comandante do exército do rei.
34And after Achitophel was Joiada the son of Banaias, and Abiathar. And the general of the king’s army was Joab.
