Berean Standard Bible
1Tulik nutik, nimet mulkunla ma nga luti nu sum. Esam ma nukewa ma nga fahk nu sum in oru.
1My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments;
2Mwe luti luk ac fah akloesye moul lom ac akinsewowoye.
2for they will add length to your days, years and peace to your life.
3Nimet lela kulang ac inse pwaye in wanginla liki kom. Kapriya inkwawom, ac simusla insiom.
3Never let loving devotion or faithfulness leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4Kom fin oru ouinge, kom ac fah ohi yurin God ac mwet uh.
4Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.
5Lulalfongi LEUM GOD ke insiom kewa. Nimet lulalfongi etu lom sifacna.
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
6Esam LEUM GOD in ma nukewa kom oru, ac El ac fah akkalemye inkanek suwohs nu sum.
6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
7Nimet sifacna nunku mu kom arulana fas in lalmwetmet lom; akos LEUM GOD ac fahsr liki ma koluk.
7Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
8Kom fin oru ouinge, ac fah akkeye monum, ac sot ku nu sum.
8This will bring healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.
9Akfulatye LEUM GOD ke mwe sang lom nu sel ke mwe kasrup lom, ac ke fahko se meet ke ima lom.
9Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your harvest;
10Kom fin oru ouinge, nien filma lom ac fah nwanala ke wheat, ac nien wain lom ac fah kahkkakla ke wain.
10then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
11Tulik nutik, nimet pilesru kas in kai lun LEUM GOD nu sum, a lohang nu kac ac eis mu mwe sensenkakin kom.
11My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD, and do not loathe His rebuke;
12LEUM GOD El kaelos su El lungse, oana ke sie papa kai tulik su el insewowo kac.
12for the LORD disciplines the one He loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights.
13Insewowo mwet se su konauk lalmwetmet, ac su sun etauk.
13Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who acquires understanding,
14Ma laesla kac yohk liki ma laesla ke silver, ac yohk sripa nu sum liki gold.
14for she is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than fine gold.
15Lalmwetmet el saok liki wek saok. Wangin kutena ma kom lungse ku in lumweyuk nu kac.
15She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire compares with her.
16Lalmwetmet uh ac akloesye moul lom, akkasrupye kom, ac oru in sunakinyuk kom.
16Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
17Inkanek lun lalmwetmet uh ac mwe engan nu sum, ac kol kom nu ke moul in misla.
17All her ways are pleasant, and all her paths are peaceful.
18Lalmwetmet uh oana sak in moul nu selos su eisal, ac mwe insewowo nu selos su akfulatyal.
18She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who lay hold of her are blessed.
19LEUM GOD El orala faclu ke lalmwetmet lal, Ke etu lal El oakiya ma oan inkusrao.
19The LORD founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding.
20Lalmwetmet lal uh oru kof ye faclu in unonak, Ac pukunyeng uh in kahkunma af nu fin faclu.
20By His knowledge the watery depths were broken open, and the clouds dripped with dew.
21Tulik nutik, sruokya ku liyaten, ac lohang in wo nu ke ma kom oru.
21My son, do not lose sight of this: Preserve sound judgment and discernment.
22Ma inge ac sot moul wo ac insewowo nu sum.
22They will be life to your soul and adornment to your neck.
23Kom ac fah fahsr ke inkanek in misla, ac tiana tukulkul.
23Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.
24Kom ac fah tia sangeng ke kom motul, ac kom ac fah motul folosowosla ke fong uh.
24When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you rest, your sleep will be sweet.
25Kom ac tia sensen ke mwe fosrnga su ac sa sikyak, oana paka ma sun mwet koluk uh.
25Do not fear sudden danger or the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26LEUM GOD El ac karingin kom. El ac fah tia lela niom in sremla.
26for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from the snare.
27In pacl nukewa ma kom ku, kom in kasrelos su fal in eis kasru, ac tia sruokya ma wo lukelos.
27Do not withhold good from the deserving when it is within your power to act.
28Nimet fahk nu sin mwet tulan lom in soano nu ke len tok ah, kom fin ku in kasrel ingena.
28Do not tell your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I will provide”— when you already have the means.
29Nimet akoo kutena ma ac tuh akkolukye mwet tulan lom; el muta siskom ac lulalfongi kom.
29Do not devise evil against your neighbor, for he trustfully dwells beside you.
30Nimet akukuin nu sin sie mwet ke wangin sripa, fin wangin ma el oru in akkolukye kom.
30Do not accuse a man without cause, when he has done you no harm.
31Nimet mwel ma lun mwet sulallal, ku nunkauk in oru oana elos oru,
31Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways;
32mweyen LEUM GOD El srunga mwet orekma koluk, a El insraelak nu sin mwet suwoswos.
32for the LORD detests the perverse, but He is a friend to the upright.
33Mwe selnga lun LEUM GOD oan fin lohm sin mwet koluk, a mwe insewowo lal oan fin lohm sin mwet suwoswos.
33The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.
34El tiana lohang nu sin mwet inse fulat, a El kulang nu sin mwet pusisel.
34He mocks the mockers, but gives grace to the humble.
35Mwet lalmwetmet uh ac akfulatyeyuk, a mwet lalfon uh ac yokelik mwekin lalos.
35The wise will inherit honor, but fools are held up to shame.
