1Aw Pathen, ka thangthuinah he hnatun lamtah ka lungmacil te rhael boeh.
1Listen to my prayer, O God, and do not ignore my plea.
2Kai taengah hnatung lamtah kai n'doo dae. Ka kohuetnah neh ka van tih ka pang ka ngawl.
2Attend to me and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and distraught
3Halang kah phaepnah hman ah thunkha kah ol loh kai sola boethae han sop uh tih thintoek neh kai taengah a konaeh uh.
3at the voice of the enemy, at the pressure of the wicked. For they release disaster upon me and revile me in their anger.
4Ka ko khuiah ka lungbuei loh phat tih dueknah mueirhih loh kai m'vuei khoep.
4My heart murmurs within me, and the terrors of death assail me.
5Kai taengah rhihnah neh thuennah halo tih, tuennah loh kai n'thing.
5Fear and trembling grip me, and horror has overwhelmed me.
6Te vaengah, “U long nim kai ham vahui bangla ka phae han khueh koinih ka ding vetih kho ka sak sue,” ka ti.
6I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and find rest.
7Yaoe A hla la ka cet sui tih, khosoek ah ka rhaehba mai lah sue. Selah
7How far away I would flee! In the wilderness I would remain. Selah
8Kai taengkah khohli khui lamloh, hlipuei a tloh khui lamloh kuepkolnah la ka tawn uh sue.
8I would hurry to my shelter, far from this raging tempest.”
9Ka Boeipa aw amih ol te haeh saeh lamtah dolh saeh, khopuei ah kuthlahnah neh tuituknah ni ka hmuh.
9O Lord, confuse and confound their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city.
10Khoyin khothaih vongtung taengah vikvuek uh tih a ko khuiah boethae neh thakthaenah om.
10Day and night they encircle the walls, while malice and trouble lie within.
11Talnah loh a ko khuiah om tih, hnaephnapnah neh thailatnah loh toltung lamkah nong voelpawh.
11Destruction is within; oppression and deceit never leave the streets.
12Kai aka veet he ka thunkha moenih, anih koinih ka phueih pawn ni. Kai taengah aka pomsang uh te ka lunguet moenih. Te koinih anih taeng lamloh ka thuh tak ni.
12For it is not an enemy who insults me; that I could endure. It is not a foe who rises against me; from him I could hide.
13Tedae ka boeihlum neh ka thanat la ka hmaiben hlanghing khaw namah ni.
13But it is you, a man like myself, my companion and close friend.
14Baecenol neh tun ka tui uh tih, rhoihui neh Pathen im la ka cet uh coeng.
14We shared sweet fellowship together; we walked with the crowd into the house of God.
15Amih ko khuiah khaw, a lampahnah ah khaw thae uh. Te dongah amih te dueknah loh dueknah neh phae saeh lamtah, a hingnah te saelkhui la suntla uh saeh.
15Let death seize them by surprise; let them go down to Sheol alive, for evil is with them in their homes.
16Pathen te kai loh ka khue tih BOEIPA loh kai n'khang.
16But I call to God, and the LORD saves me.
17Hlaem, mincang neh khothun ah ka lolmang tih ka ko vaengah ka ol han yaak.
17Morning, noon, and night, I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice.
18Kai taengkah aka om rhoek he a yet dongah ka hinglu he caemrhal lamkah sading la n'lat.
18He redeems my soul in peace from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me.
19Hlamat lamkah kho aka sa Pathen loh a yaak vetih amih te a phaep ni. Selah. Amih taengah thovaelnah a om pawt bangla Pathen khaw rhih uh pawh.
19God will hear and humiliate them— the One enthroned for the ages— Selah because they do not change and they have no fear of God.
20A ngaimongnah taengah a kut a hlah tih, a paipi a poeih.
20My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant.
21A ka te maehtha bangla hnal dae a lungbuei tah caemrhal la om. A olka te situi lakah yaai dae tumca a muk uh.
21His speech is smooth as butter, but war is in his heart. His words are softer than oil, yet they are swords unsheathed.
22Na thinrhih te BOEIPA taengah hal lamtah amah loh nang n'cangbam bitni. Aka dueng te kumhal ah bung sak mahpawh.
22Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
23Tedae Pathen nang loh pocinah rhom khuila amih te na hlak ni. Hlang thii aka ngaih neh hlangthai palat kah khohnin te paekboe pah pawtnim? Kai long tah nang dongah ka pangtung ni.
23But You, O God, will bring them down to the Pit of destruction; men of bloodshed and deceit will not live out half their days. But I will trust in You.
