1Manghai tah duengnah neh manghai vetih mangpa rhoek loh a tiktam la boei uh ni.
1Behold a king shall reign in justice, and princes shell rule in judgment.
2Te vaengah tah khohli vaengkah congket conglong neh hlipuei vaengkah a huephael bangla, rhamrhae kah sokca tui bangla, buhmueh rhathih khohmuen kah thaelpang puei kah hlipkhup bangla boeih om ni.
2And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm, as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.
3Aka hmu rhoek loh a mik buem uh voel pawt vetih aka ya kah a hna long khaw hnatung uh pawn ni.
3The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken diligently.
4Thinko aka loe long khaw ming hamla a yakming ni. Ol khol khaw a loe la puk cal ni.
4And the heart of fools shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of stammerers shall speak readily and plain.
5Hlang ang te hlangcong la khue voel pawt vetih ngukngak te hlang rhoeikhang ti nah mahpawh.
5The fool shall no more be called prince: neither shall the deceitful be called great:
6Lailak la saii ham neh BOEIPA te rholrhaknah thui ham, akaang loh boethaehalang a thui tih a lungbuei kah boethae a saii. Hlang kah hinglu te bungpong la a kaeng tih tuihalh khaw tui-ok loh a vaitah sak.
6For the fool will speak foolish things, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and speak to the Lord deceitfully, and to make empty the soul of the hungry, and take away drink from the thirsty.
7Ngukngak loh a boethae hnopai te khonuen rhamtat la a khueh tih, khodaeng loh tiktam a thui vaengah pataeng kodo mangdaeng te a honghi ol neh vueinan hamla caai.
7The vessels of the deceitful are most wicked: for he hath framed devices to destroy the meek, with lying words, when the poor man speaketh judgment.
8Tedae hlangcong long tah moeihoeihnah neh a uen tih moeihoeihnah neh pai van.
8But the prince will devise such things as are worthy of a prince, and he shall stand above the rulers.
9Mongkawt nu rhoek thoo uh lamtah ka ol hnatun uh. Palyal tanu rhoek ka olthui he hnakaeng uh lah.
9Rise up, ye rich women, and hear my voice: ye confident daughters, give ear to my speech.
10Palyal rhoek te kum at hnin at ah na tlai uh bitni. Misurbit loh n'khah vetih cangah khaw pha mahpawh.
10For after days and a year, you that are confident shall be troubled: for the vintage is at an end, the gathering shall come no more.
11Mongkawt nu te lakueng saeh, palyal nu rhoek khaw tlai uh saeh. Hni te pit saeh lamtah a yal la a pumpu te vah saeh.
11Be astonished, ye rich women, be troubled, ye confident ones: strip yen, and be confounded, gird your loins.
12Naidoeh lohma ham neh misur thaihsu ham te rhangsuk mah rhaengsae laeh.
12Mourn for your breasts, for the delightful country, for the fruitful vineyard.
13Hling neh lota he ka pilnam kah hmuenlung ham a yam pah coeng tih, khorha kah omthennah dongah aka yalpo imkhui boeih ham pai ni.
13Upon the land of my people shall thorns and briers come up: how much more upon all the houses of joy, of the city that rejoiced?
14Impuei te a phap vetih khopuei a lilup khaw a hnoo ni. Molpuei neh rhaltawt imsang te kohong marhang kah a omthennah neh tuping uemnah la poeh vetih kumhal due lungtokhui la om ni.
14For the house is forsaken, the multitude of the city is left, darkness and obscurity are come upon its dens for ever. A joy of wild asses, the pastures of flocks,
15Hmuensang lamkah Mueihla te mamih soah han kingling vaengah tah khosoek khaw cangphil cangngol la poeh tih khoham cangphil cangngol bangla a poek.
15Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high: and the desert shall be as a charmel, and charmel shall be counted for a forest.
16Te vaengah tah khosoek ah tiktamnah loh kho a sak vetih, duengnah loh cangphil cangngol te a om thil ni.
16And judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and justice shall sit in charmel.
17Duengnah kah a khoboe tah rhoepnah la, duengnah kah thohtatnah tah kumhal due mong vetih ngaikhuek la om ni.
17And the work of justice shall be peace, and the service of justice quietness, and security for ever.
18Ka pilnam long tah rhoepnah tolkhoeng neh pangtungnah tolhmuen ah duemnah neh a mongkawt la kho a sak ni.
18And my people shall sit in the beauty of peace, and in the tabernacles of confidence, and in wealthy rest.
19Te dongah duup khaw rhael aka bo loh a hnaa vetih khopuei khaw tlarhoelnah la kunyun ni.
19But hail shall be in the descent of the forest, and the city shall be made very low.
20Te dae tui kaeng te boeih aka tawn tih vaito neh laak kho neh aka tluek rhoek tah na yoethen uh.
20Blessed are ye that sow upon all waters, sending thither the foot of the ox and the ass.
