1Pri tio tremas mia koro Kaj saltas de sia loko.
1“At this my heart also pounds and leaps from its place.
2Aŭskultu atente en la bruo Lian voĉon, Kaj la sonojn, kiuj eliras el Lia buŝo.
2Listen closely to the thunder of His voice and the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
3Sub la tutan ĉielon Li kurigas tion, Kaj Sian lumon al la randoj de la tero.
3He unleashes His lightning beneath the whole sky and sends it to the ends of the earth.
4Post ĝi ekbruas la tondro; Li tondras per Sia majesta voĉo, Kaj oni ne povas tion haltigi, kiam aŭdiĝas Lia voĉo.
4Then there comes a roaring sound; He thunders with His majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when His voice resounds.
5Mirinde tondras Dio per Sia voĉo; Li faras ion grandan, sed ne konatan.
5God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things we cannot comprehend.
6Al la neĝo Li diras: Falu sur la teron; Ankaŭ al la pluvego, al Siaj fortaj pluvegoj.
6For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the gentle rain, ‘Pour out a mighty downpour.’
7Sur la manon de ĉiu homo Li metas sigelon, Por ke ĉiuj homoj sciu Lian faron.
7He seals up the hand of every man, so that all men may know His work.
8La sovaĝa besto iras en sian kavon Kaj restas en sia loĝejo.
8The wild animals enter their lairs; they settle down in their dens.
9El la sudo venas ventego, Kaj de la nordo venas malvarmo.
9The tempest comes from its chamber, and the cold from the driving north winds.
10De la spiro de Dio venas frosto, Kaj vasta akvo fariĝas kvazaŭ fandaĵo.
10By the breath of God the ice is formed and the watery expanses are frozen.
11La nubojn Li pezigas per akvo, Kaj nubo disŝutas Lian lumon.
11He loads the clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them.
12Li direktas ilin ĉirkaŭen, kien Li volas, Por ke ili plenumu ĉion, kion Li ordonas al ili, sur la tero:
12They swirl about, whirling at His direction, accomplishing all that He commands over the face of all the earth.
13Ĉu por puno de ia lando, Ĉu por favorkoraĵo Li ilin direktas.
13Whether for punishment or for His land, He accomplishes this in His loving devotion.
14Atentu tion, Ijob; Staru, kaj konsideru la miraklojn de Dio.
14Listen to this, O Job; stand still and consider the wonders of God.
15Ĉu vi scias, kiamaniere Dio agigas ilin Kaj aperigas lumon el Sia nubo?
15Do you know how God dispatches the clouds or makes the lightning flash?
16Ĉu vi komprenas, ĉe la distiro de nubo, La miraklojn de Tiu, kiu estas la plej perfekta en la sciado?
16Do you understand how the clouds float, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
17Kiamaniere viaj vestoj varmiĝas, Kiam la tero kvietiĝas de sude?
17You whose clothes get hot when the land lies hushed under the south wind,
18Ĉu vi povas etendi kun Li la ĉielon, Firman kiel fandita spegulo?
18can you, like Him, spread out the skies to reflect the heat like a mirror of bronze?
19Sciigu al ni, kion ni devas diri al Li; Mi nenion povas elkonjekti pro mallumo.
19Teach us what we should say to Him; we cannot draw up our case when our faces are in darkness.
20Ĉu estos rakontita al Li tio, kion mi parolas? Se iu parolos, li pereos.
20Should He be told that I want to speak? Would a man ask to be swallowed up ?
21Nun oni ne povas rigardi la lumon, kiu hele lumas en la ĉielo, Kiam la vento pasas kaj purigas ĝin.
21Now no one can gaze at the sun when it is bright in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
22De norde venas oro; Ĉirkaŭ Dio estas terura brilo.
22Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; awesome majesty surrounds Him.
23La Plejpotenculon ni ne povas kompreni. Li estas granda en forto, justo, kaj vero; Li neniun premas.
23The Almighty is beyond our reach; He is exalted in power! In His justice and great righteousness He does not oppress.
24Tial respektegas Lin la homoj; Kaj Li atentas neniun el la saĝuloj.
24Therefore, men fear Him, for He is not partial to the wise in heart.”
