1In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, the tenth day of the month, the fourteenth year after the city was destroyed: in the selfsame day the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me thither.
1私たちが捕囚となって第二十五年、年の初め、その月の十日、町が打たれてから第十四年の、まさにその日、主の手が私の上にあり、主は私をそこへ連れて行かれた。
2In the visions of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain: upon which there was as the building of a city, bending towards the south.
2神の幻のうちに、主は私をイスラエルの地へ連れて行き、非常に高い山の上に降ろされた。その南側には、町の建物のようなものがあった。
3And he brought me in thither, and behold a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed in his hand, and he stood in the gate.
3主が私をそこへ連れて行かれると、見よ、青銅のような姿をした一人の人がいた。その手には亜麻のひもと測り竿があり、門の所に立っていた。
4And this man said to me: Son of man, see with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee: for thou art brought hither that they may be shewn to thee: declare all that thou seest, to the house of Israel.
4その人は私に言った。「人の子よ、目で見、耳で聞き、わたしがあなたに示すことをすべて心に留めよ。あなたはそれらを示されるために、ここへ連れて来られた。あなたが見るすべてのことをイスラエルの家に告げよ。」
5And behold there was a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits and a handbreadth: and he measured the breadth of the building one reed, and the height one reed.
5見よ、宮の外側を壁が取り囲んでいた。その人の手には、通常の一キュビトに一手幅を加えた長さを一キュビトとする、六キュビト の測り竿があった。彼が壁を測ると、厚さは一竿、高さも一竿であった。
6And he came to the gate that looked toward the east, and he went up the steps thereof: and he measured the breadth of the threshold of the gate one reed, that is, one threshold was one reed broad:
6それから彼は東を向いている門へ行き、その階段を上った。門の敷居を測ると、幅は一竿であり、もう一方の敷居も幅一竿であった。
7And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad: and between the little chambers were five cubits:
7それぞれの詰め所は長さ一竿、幅一竿で、詰め所と詰め所の間は五キュビトであった。宮に面する門の前廊のそばにある敷居は一竿であった。
8And the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within, was one reed.
8彼はまた、宮に面する門の前廊を測ると、一竿であった。
9And he measured the porch of the gate eight cubits, and the front thereof two cubits: and the porch of the gate was inward.
9それから門の前廊を測ると八キュビト、その脇柱は二キュビトであった。門の前廊は宮に面していた。
10And the little chambers of the gate that looked eastward were three on this side, and three on that side: all three were of one measure, and the fronts of one measure, on both parts.
10東の門の詰め所は、こちら側に三つ、あちら側に三つあった。三つとも同じ寸法であり、脇柱もこちら側とあちら側で同じ寸法であった。
11And he measured the breadth of the threshold of the gate ten cubits: and the length of the gate thirteen cubits:
11彼が門口の幅を測ると十キュビト、門の長さは十三キュビトであった。
12And the border before the little chambers one cubit: and one cubit was the border on both sides: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side and that side.
12詰め所の前には、こちら側に一キュビトの仕切りがあり、あちら側にも一キュビトの仕切りがあった。詰め所は、こちら側もあちら側も六キュビトであった。
13And he measured the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another, in breadth five and twenty cubits: door against door.
13彼が一方の詰め所の屋根から、向かい側の詰め所の屋根まで門を測ると、幅は二十五キュビトで、入口と入口が向かい合っていた。
14He made also fronts of sixty cubits: and to the front the court of the gate on every side round about.

15And before the face of the gate which reached even to the face of the porch of the inner gate, fifty cubits.

16And slanting windows in the little chambers, and in their fronts, which were within the gate on every side round about: and in like, manner there wore also in the porches windows round about within, and before the fronts the representation of palm trees.
16詰め所と、門の内側にあるその脇柱の周囲には格子窓があり、アーチにも同じように窓があった。窓は周囲で内側を向き、それぞれの脇柱には、なつめやしの木が彫られていた。
17And he brought me into the outward court, and behold there were chambers, and a pavement of stone in the court round about: thirty chambers encompassed the pavement.
17それから彼は私を外庭へ連れて行った。見よ、庭の周囲には部屋があり、石畳が造られていた。石畳の上には三十の部屋があった。
18And the pavement in the front of the gates according to the length of the gates was lower.
18石畳は門の両側にあり、門の長さに対応していた。これが下の石畳であった。
19And he measured the breadth from the face of the lower gate to the front of the inner court without, a hundred cubits to the east, and to the north.
19それから彼は、下の門の前面から内庭の外側の前面までの幅を測ると、東側も北側も百キュビトであった。
20He measured also both the length and the breadth of the gate of the outward court, which looked northward.
20彼は、北を向いている外庭の門の長さと幅を測った。
21And the little chambers thereof three on this side, and three on that side: and the front thereof, and the porch thereof according to the measure of the former gate, fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
21その詰め所は、こちら側に三つ、あちら側に三つあった。その脇柱とアーチは最初の門と同じ寸法で、長さは五十キュビト、幅は二十五キュビトであった。
22And the windows thereof, and the porch, and the gravings according to the measure of the gate that looked to the east, and they went up to it by seven steps, and a porch was before it.
22その窓、アーチ、なつめやしの木は、東を向いている門と同じ寸法であった。七段の階段を上ってその門へ行き、そのアーチは階段の前にあった。
23And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate of the north, and that of the ease: and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.
23内庭には、北側と東側で、それぞれ外庭の門と向かい合う門があった。彼が門から門まで測ると、百キュビトであった。
24And he brought me out to the way of the south, and behold the gate that looked to the south: and he measured the front thereof, and the porch thereof according to the former measures.
24彼は私を南へ導いた。見よ、南を向く門があった。彼がその脇柱とアーチを測ると、これまでと同じ寸法であった。
25And the windows thereof, and the porches round about, as the other windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
25その門とアーチの周囲には、ほかの窓と同じような窓があった。長さは五十キュビト、幅は二十五キュビトであった。
26And there were seven steps to go up to it: and a porch before the doors thereof: and there were graven palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side in the front thereof.
26そこへ上るには七段の階段があり、そのアーチは階段の前にあった。脇柱には、こちら側に一本、あちら側に一本、なつめやしの木が彫られていた。
27And there was a gate of the inner court towards the south: and he measured from gate to gate towards the south, a hundred cubits.
27内庭にも南を向く門があった。彼が南に向かって門から門まで測ると、百キュビトであった。
28And he brought me into the inner court at the south gate: and he measured the gate according to the former measures.
28それから彼は南の門を通って、私を内庭へ連れて行った。彼が南の門を測ると、これまでと同じ寸法であった。
29The little chamber thereof, and the front thereof, and the porch thereof with the same measures: and the windows thereof, and the porch thereof round about it was fifty cubits in length, and five and twenty cubits in breadth.
29その詰め所、脇柱、アーチも同じ寸法であった。その門とアーチの周囲には窓があった。門の長さは五十キュビト、幅は二十五キュビトであった。
30And the porch round about was five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.
30周囲にはアーチがあり、長さ二十五キュビト、幅五キュビトであった。
31And the porch thereof to the outward court, and the palm trees thereof in the front: and there were eight steps to go up to It.
31そのアーチは外庭に面していた。脇柱には、なつめやしの木が彫られていた。そこへ上る階段は八段であった。
32And he brought me into the inner court by the way of the east: and he measured the gate according to the former measures.
32それから彼は私を、東側の内庭へ連れて行った。彼が門を測ると、これまでと同じ寸法であった。
33The little chamber thereof, and the front thereof, and the porch thereof as before: and the windows thereof, and the porches thereof round about it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
33その詰め所、脇柱、アーチも同じ寸法であった。その門とアーチの周囲には窓があった。門の長さは五十キュビト、幅は二十五キュビトであった。
34And the porch thereof, that is, of the outward court: and the graven palm trees in the front thereof on this side and on that side: and the going up thereof was by eight steps.
34そのアーチは外庭に面していた。こちら側とあちら側の脇柱には、なつめやしの木が彫られていた。そこへ上る階段は八段であった。
35And he brought me into the gate that looked to the north: and he measured according to the former measures.
35それから彼は私を北の門へ連れて行き、これまでと同じ寸法で測った。
36The little chamber thereof, and the front thereof, and the porch thereof, and the windows thereof round about it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
36その詰め所、脇柱、アーチがあり、その周囲には窓があった。門の長さは五十キュビト、幅は二十五キュビトであった。
37And the porch thereof looked to the outward court: and the graving of palm trees in the front thereof was on this side and on that side: and the going up to it was by eight steps.
37その脇柱は外庭に面していた。こちら側とあちら側の脇柱には、なつめやしの木が彫られていた。そこへ上る階段は八段であった。
38And at every chamber was a door in the forefronts of the gates: there they washed the holocaust.
38門の脇柱のそばには、入口のある部屋があった。そこで焼き尽くすささげ物を洗った。
39And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side: that the holocaust, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering might be slain thereon.
39門の前廊には、こちら側に二つ、あちら側に二つの台があった。その上で焼き尽くすささげ物、罪のきよめのささげ物、罪過のささげ物を屠った。
40And on the outward side, which goeth up to the entry of the gate that looketh toward the north, were two tables. and at the other side before the porch of the gate were two tables.
40北の門の入口へ上って行く外側の一方には二つの台があり、門の前廊に属するもう一方にも二つの台があった。
41Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side: at the sides of the gate were eight tables, upon which they slew the victims.
41門のそばには、こちら側に四つ、あちら側に四つ、合わせて八つの台があり、その上でいけにえを屠った。
42And the four tables for the holocausts were made of square stones: one cubit and a half long, and one cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high: to lay the vessels upon, in which the holocaust and the victim is slain.
42焼き尽くすささげ物のために、切り石で造った台が四つあった。それぞれ長さ一キュビト半、幅一キュビト半、高さ一キュビトであった。その上に、焼き尽くすささげ物といけにえを屠るための道具を置いた。
43And the borders of them were of one handbreadth, turned inwards round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.
43手幅ほどの鉤が、内側の周囲に取り付けられていた。ささげ物の肉は台の上に置かれた。
44And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singing men in the inner court, which was on the side of the gate that looketh to the north: and their prospect was towards the south, one at the side of the east gate, which looketh toward the north.
44内門の外側、内庭には、歌う者たちのための部屋があった。それは北の門のそばにあり、南を向いていた。東の門のそばにある一つの部屋は北を向いていた。
45And he said to me: This chamber, which looketh toward the south shall be for the priests that watch in the wards of the temple.
45彼は私に言った。「南を向くこの部屋は、宮の務めを守る祭司たちのためである。
46But the chamber that looketh towards the north shall be for the priests that watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Sadoc, who among the sons of Levi, come near to the Lord, to minister to him.
46北を向く部屋は、祭壇の務めを守る祭司たちのためである。彼らはツァドクの子らであり、レビの子らの中から主に近づいて仕える者たちである。」
47And he measured the court a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad foursquare: and the altar that was before the face of the temple.
47彼が庭を測ると、長さ百キュビト、幅百キュビトの正方形であった。祭壇は宮の前にあった。
48And he brought me into the porch of the temple: and he measured the porch five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.
48それから彼は私を宮の前廊へ連れて行き、前廊の脇柱を測った。こちら側は五キュビト、あちら側も五キュビトであった。門の幅は、こちら側が三キュビト、あちら側も三キュビトであった。
49And the length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and there were eight, steps to go up to it. And there were pillars in the fronts: one on this side, and another on that side.
49前廊の長さは二十キュビト、幅は十一キュビトであった。人々は階段を上ってそこへ行った。脇柱のそばには、こちら側に一本、あちら側に一本の柱があった。
