Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1As God’s fellow workers, then, we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
1KIT men jauaja kai, men panaui komail, pwe komail de ale mal mak en Kot.
2For He says: “In the time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the time of favor; now is the day of salvation!
2Pwe a kotin majani: I ron uk er ni anjau mau, o ni ran en kamaur I katoi uk adar. Kilan anjau wet anjau mau; anjau wet ran en kamaur.
3We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no one can discredit our ministry.
3Kit jota kadipikelekel on meakot, pwe at koa dodok ede kalok jued.
4Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships, and calamities;
4A ni meakaroj kit kin wia janjal en papa en Kot akai: Ni kanonama melel, ni kamekam, ni paiio kan, ni kamajak kan,
5in beatings, imprisonments, and riots; in labor, sleepless nights, and hunger;
5Ni wokwok, nan imaten, n i moromoron, ni dodok, ni majamajan, ni ijejol.
6in purity, knowledge, patience, and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;
6Ni makelekel, ni lolekon, ni lolin, ni kadek, ni Nen jaraui, ni limpok melel,
7in truthful speech and in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
7Ni majan melel, ni manaman en Koht, ki tatan mauin en pun pali maun o pali main
8through glory and dishonor, slander and praise; viewed as imposters, yet genuine;
8Ni kaka, o jokaka, nikalok jued, o kalok mau, dene kaweid japun, ari jo, me melel,
9as unknown, yet well-known; dying, and yet we live on; punished, yet not killed;
9Dene pajaje, ari jo, kit me indand; koren ion mela, a kilan kit memaureta; me kin kamekam, ap jota kamela,
10sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
10Ni injenjued, ap pereperen anjau karoj, me jamama, ap kakepwapwala me toto, jota at meakot, ap aneki meakaroj.
11We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians. Our hearts are open wide.
11Men Korint, au at ritidan komail, o nan monion it me laudi on komail.
12It is not our affection, but yours, that is restrained.
12Kaidin me tikitik deu ’mail nan monion it, a monion omail me tikitik.
13As a fair exchange, I ask you as my children: Open wide your hearts also.
13I kin padaki on komail dueta on jeri kan, pwe komail en pil wiai on ia dueta, o kalaudela nan monion omail.
14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
14Komail ender paroki on me jo pojon akan, pwe iaduen, pun kak minimin on japun? De marain pan kak waroki on rotorot?
15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
15De iaduen Krijtuj o Pelial ara kak parok pena? De da pwaij en me pojon ren me jopojon?
16What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
16De tanpaj en Kot pan kak pat on ani mal akan? Pwe tanpaj en Kot ieiaj iei komail, duen Kot kotin majanier: I pan kaujon re ’rail o daudaulole irail, o Nai pan arail Kot, a irail pan nai aramaj akan.
17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
17Komail ari muei jan. irail o katoror jan pein komail, me Kaun o kotin majani, o ender doke me kajaut kot, Nai ap pan apwali komail,
18And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
18Ol pan Jam omail, o komail pan nai ol o li akan, me Kaun lapalap kotin majani.
