Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is dismantled, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
1PWE kitail ajaer, impwal atail jappa a lao ola, kitail pan id imaneki im eu jan ren Kot, im eu me kaidin wiaui kida pa, pwe a me joutuk nanlan.
2For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
2I me kitail kin janejan o inon ion im jan nanlan en kalikau kitail da.
3because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.
3Pwe ma kitail likaudar, kitail jolar pan kilijo.
4So while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens, because we do not wish to be unclothed but clothed, so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life.
4Pwe ni atail deula impwal wet kitail kin janejan o patau, pwe kitail jota men pure jan atail likau, a je men kadupaledi, pwe maur en katalala mela.
5And God has prepared us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a pledge of what is to come.
5A me wia kin kitail on mepukat, i Kot me pil kotiki on kitail er komoan Nen.
6Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord.
6Kitail ari injenemau anjau karoj o ajaer, ni atail kaujon ki war, kitail kin doo wei jan Kaun.
7For we walk by faith, not by sight.
7Pwe kitail kin weweid ni pojon a kaidin ni kilan.
8We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
8Ari jo, kitail kin injenemau o inon ion muei jan war atail, ap mimi nan deu atail ren Kaun o.
9So we aspire to please Him, whether we are here in this body or away from it.
9Nan i me kitail kin nantion kaperen i, ma ni deu ’tail de ni at doo wei jan.
10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.
10Pwe kitail karoj pan janjal mon mol en kadeik en Krijtuj, pwe amen amen en ale pwain en a wiawia arain a maur ni pali war, ma me mau de me jued.
11Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is clear to God, and I hope it is clear to your conscience as well.
11Kit ajaer, me jen majak Kaun o, i me je kin kanekanai on at dodok on aramaj akan, ap kin janjal on Kot. A i pil kaporoporeki me je pil janjal on nan injen omail.
12We are not commending ourselves to you again. Instead, we are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you can answer those who take pride in appearances rather than in the heart.
12Pwe kit jota japal juaiki pein kit on komail, a je pan on komail, en kapin pat, pwe peikite pamail en mia on irail, me kin juaiki maj arail, a jo monion arail.
13If we are out of our mind, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.
13Pwe ni at mi likin war at. a kin wiaui on Kot a ma jo, je kin dodok on komail.
14For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.
14Pwe iduen limpok on Krijtuj kanon kin kit, pwe je kaiauiadar me amen mata kila karoi i me irail karoi mekilar.
15And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
15A i mata kilan karoj, pwe irail me memaur, der memaur on pein irail, a on i, me mata kin irail lar o me kaiajadar.
16So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
16I me je jolar aja amen ni pali uduk. Ei, maj o je ajaer Krijtuj ni pali uduk eta, a met je jolar aja i due.
17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
17Ari ma amen mi ren Krijtuj, nan a wilikapadar; men maj momelar, kilan, karoj wilikapada.
18All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
18A meakan karoj jan ren Kot, me kotin kalolamaui on pein i kitail ki lejuj Krijtuj, me kotiki on kit at koa dodok, duen padak en kalolmau.
19that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
19Pwe Kot kotikot ren Krijtuj o kotin kalokalolamau on pein i jappa, o jolar kapokon on irail dip arail akan, o kotiki on kitail maj an en kalolamau.
20Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.
20Ari, kit men en kadar en Krijtuj, pwe Kot kin panaui ki kit. Kit wiliandi Krijtuj ap poekipoeki kin komail: Komail kalolamau pein komail on Kot!
21God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
21Pwe Kot kotin kapokonki on, me jo dip a, dip atail, pwe kitail en pun kila pa ren Kot.
