1The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
1Господ је видело моје и спасење моје; кога да се бојим? Господ је крепост живота мог; кога да се страшим?
2When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
2Ако навале на ме зликовци да поједу тело моје, противници и непријатељи моји, спотаћи ће се и пашће.
3Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
3Ако против мене војска у логор стане, неће се уплашити срце моје; ако се на ме рат дигне, ја се ни онда нећу бојати.
4One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
4За једно само молим Господа, само то иштем, да живим у дому Господњем све дане живота свог, да гледам красоту Господњу и раним у цркву Његову.
5For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
5Јер би ме сакрио у колиби својој у зло доба; склонио би ме под кровом шатора свог; на камену гору попео би ме.
6Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
6Тада бих подигао главу своју пред непријатељима који би ме опколили; принео бих у Његовом шатору жртву хвале; запевао бих и хвалио Господа.
7Hear, LORD, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.
7Чуј, Господе, глас мој, Тебе призивам, смилуј се на ме и услиши ме.
8When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, LORD.”
8Срце моје говори пред Тобом што си рекао: „Тражите лице моје”. Тражим лице Твоје, Господе!
9Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.
9Немој одвратити од мене лице своје, немој у гневу оставити слугу свог; буди Помоћник мој; немој ме одбити, и немој ме оставити, Боже, Спаситељу мој!
10When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
10Јер отац мој и мати моја оставише ме; али Господ нека ме прихвати.
11Teach me your way, LORD. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.
11Упути ме, Господе, на пут свој и води ме правом стазом поради оних који ме вребају.
12Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.
12Немој ме дати на вољу непријатељима мојим; јер усташе на ме лажни сведоци; али злоба говори сама против себе.
13I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
13Верујем да ћу видети доброту Господњу на земљи живих.
14Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.
14Уздај се у Господа, буди слободан; нека буде срце твоје крепко, уздај се у Господа.
