שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּעֲל֗וֹת לְדָ֫וִ֥ד

1שָׂ֭מַחְתִּי בְּאֹמְרִ֣ים לִ֑י בֵּ֖ית יְהוָ֣ה נֵלֵֽךְ׃
1IO mi son rallegrato di ciò che mi è stato detto: Andiamo alla Casa del Signore.
2עֹ֭מְדוֹת הָי֣וּ רַגְלֵ֑ינוּ בִּ֝שְׁעָרַ֗יִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
2O Gerusalemme, I nostri piedi son fermi nelle tue porte.
3יְרוּשָׁלִַ֥ם הַבְּנוּיָ֑ה כְּ֝עִ֗יר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה־לָּ֥הּ יַחְדָּֽו׃
3Gerusalemme, che sei edificata Come una città che è ben congiunta insieme.
4שֶׁשָּׁ֨ם עָל֪וּ שְׁבָטִ֡ים שִׁבְטֵי־יָ֭הּ עֵד֣וּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְ֝הֹד֗וֹת לְשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה׃
4Là ove salgono le tribù, le tribù del Signore, Alla Testimonianza d'Israele, Per celebrare il Nome del Signore,
5כִּ֤י שָׁ֨מָּה׀ יָשְׁב֣וּ כִסְא֣וֹת לְמִשְׁפָּ֑ט כִּ֝סְא֗וֹת לְבֵ֣ית דָּוִֽיד׃
5Perciocchè quivi son posti i seggi per lo giudicio, I seggi della Casa di Davide.
6שַׁ֭אֲלוּ שְׁל֣וֹם יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם יִ֝שְׁלָ֗יוּ אֹהֲבָֽיִךְ׃
6Richiedete la pace di Gerusalemme; O Gerusalemme , prosperino quelli che ti amano.
7יְהִֽי־שָׁל֥וֹם בְּחֵילֵ֑ךְ שַׁ֝לְוָ֗ה בְּאַרְמְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃
7Pace sia nelle tue fortezze, E tranquillità ne' tuoi palazzi.
8לְ֭מַעַן אַחַ֣י וְרֵעָ֑י אֲדַבְּרָה־נָּ֖א שָׁל֣וֹם בָּֽךְ׃
8Per amor de' miei fratelli e de' miei prossimi, Io dirò ora: Pace sia in te.
9לְ֭מַעַן בֵּית־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ אֲבַקְשָׁ֖ה ט֣וֹב לָֽךְ׃
9Per amor della Casa del Signore Iddio nostro, Io procaccerò il tuo bene.
