1Итак, если вы воскресли со Христом, то ищите горнего, где Христос сидит одесную Бога;
1Therefore, if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above; where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God:
2о горнем помышляйте, а не о земном.
2Mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
3Ибо вы умерли, и жизнь ваша сокрыта со Христом в Боге.
3For you are dead; and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4Когда же явится Христос, жизнь ваша, тогда и вы явитесь с Ним во славе.
4When Christ shall appear, who is your life, then you also shall appear with him in glory.
5Итак умертвите земные члены ваши: блуд, нечистоту, страсть, злую похоть и любостяжание, которое есть идолослужение,
5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, lust, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is the service of idols.
6за которые гнев Божий грядет на сынов противления,
6For which things the wrath of God cometh upon the children of unbelief,
7в которых и вы некогда обращались, когда жили между ними.
7In which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.
8А теперь вы отложите все: гнев, ярость, злобу, злоречие, сквернословие уст ваших;
8But now put you also all away: anger, indignation, malice, blasphemy, filthy speech out of your mouth.
9не говорите лжи друг другу, совлекшись ветхого человека с делами его
9Lie not one to another: stripping yourselves of the old man with his deeds,
10и облекшись в нового, который обновляется в познании по образу Создавшего его,
10And putting on the new, him who is renewed unto knowledge, according to the image of him that created him.
11где нет ни Еллина, ни Иудея, ни обрезания, ни необрезания, варвара, Скифа, раба, свободного, но все и во всем Христос.
11Where there is neither Gentile nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian nor Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all, and in all.
12Итак облекитесь, как избранные Божии, святые и возлюбленные, в милосердие, благость, смиренномудрие, кротость, долготерпение,
12Put ye on therefore, as the elect of God, holy, and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience:
13снисходя друг кo другу и прощая взаимно, если кто на кого имеет жалобу: как Христос простил вас, так и вы.
13Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another: even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so do you also.
14Более же всего облекитесь в любовь, которая есть совокупность совершенства.
14But above all these things have charity, which is the bond of perfection:
15И да владычествует в сердцах ваших мир Божий, к которому вы и призваны в одном теле, и будьте дружелюбны.
15And let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, wherein also you are called in one body: and be ye thankful.
16Слово Христово да вселяется в вас обильно, со всякою премудростью; научайте и вразумляйте друг друга псалмами, славословием и духовными песнями, во благодати воспевая в сердцах ваших Господу.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom: teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles, singing in grace in your hearts to God.
17И все, что вы делаете, словом или делом, все делайте во имя Господа Иисуса Христа, благодаря через Него Бога и Отца.
17All whatsoever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18Жены, повинуйтесь мужьям своим, как прилично в Господе.
18Wives, be subject to your husbands, as it behoveth in the Lord.
19Мужья, любите своих жен и не будьте к ним суровы.
19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter towards them.
20Дети, будьте послушны родителям вашим во всем, ибо это благоугодно Господу.
20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21Отцы, не раздражайте детей ваших, дабы они не унывали.
21Fathers, provoke not your children to indignation, lest they be discouraged.
22Рабы, во всем повинуйтесь господам вашим по плоти, не в глазах только служа им, как человекоугодники, но в простоте сердца, боясь Бога.
22Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not serving to the eye, as pleasing men, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God.
23И все, что делаете, делайте от души, как для Господа, а не для человеков,
23Whatsoever you do, do it from the heart, as to the Lord, and not to men:
24зная, что в воздаяние от Господа получите наследие, ибо вы служите Господу Христу.
24Knowing that you shall receive of the Lord the reward of inheritance. Serve ye the Lord Christ.
25А кто неправо поступит, тот получит по своей неправде, у Него нет лицеприятия.
25For he that doth wrong, shall receive for that which he hath done wrongfully: and there is no respect of persons with God.
