1ပညာရှိ သောမိန်းမ သည် မိမိ အိမ် ကို တည်ဆောက် တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောမိန်းမမူကား ၊ ကိုယ် လက် နှင့် ဖြိုဖျက် တတ်၏။
1A wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish will pull down with her hands that also which is built.
2ဖြောင့် သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက် သောသူသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ တတ်၏။ ကောက်သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက် သောသူမူကား ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်၏။
2He that walketh in the right way, and feareth God, Cis despised by him that goeth by an infamous way.
3မိုက် သောသူ၏ နှုတ် ၌ မာန ကြိမ်လုံး ရှိ၏။ ပညာရှိ သောသူ၏ နှုတ်ခမ်း တို့သည် ကယ်တင် သောအမှုကို ပြုတတ်၏။
3In the mouth of a fool is the rod of pride: but the lips of the wise preserve them.
4နွား ထီးမ ရှိသော တင်းကုပ် သည် စင်ကြယ် ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ နွား ခွန်အား ကိုသုံး၍ များ သောစီးပွား ကို ရတတ်၏။
4Where there are no oxen, the crib is empty: but where there is much corn, there the strength of the ox is manifest.
5သစ္စာ ရှိသောသက်သေ သည်မုသာ မ သုံးတတ်။ သစ္စာ ပျက်သော သက်သေ မူကား ၊ မုသာ ကိုသုံး တတ်၏။
5A faithful witness will not lie: but a deceitful witness uttereth a lie.
6မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် ပညာ ကိုရှာ ၍ မ တွေ့ရာ။ ဉာဏ် ရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ ပညာ အတတ်ကို ရ လွယ်၏။
6A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: the learning of the wise is easy.
7မိုက် သောသူနှင့်တွေ့၍ သူ၏နှုတ် ၌ ပညာ အတတ်မ ရှိသည်ကို သိမြင် လျှင် ၊ ထိုသူ ကို ရှောင် သွား လော့။
7Go against a foolish man, and he knoweth not the lips of prudence.
8ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူ ၏ပညာ ကား၊ ကိုယ် သွား ရသောလမ်း ကို သိ ခြင်းတည်း။ မိုက် သောသူ၏ မိုက် ခြင်း မူကား ၊ ပရိယာယ် တည်း။
8The wisdom of a. discreet man is to understand his way: and the imprudence of fools erreth.
9မိုက် သောသူတို့သည် ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို မထီ လေးစားပြုကြ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့ မူကား ၊ တယောက် ကိုတယောက်ကျေးဇူး ပြုကြ၏။
9A fool will laugh at sin, but among the just grace shall abide.
10စိတ် နှလုံးသည် မိမိ ဒုက္ခ ကို သိ ၏။ စိတ်နှလုံးရွှင်လန်း ခြင်း အကြောင်းကိုလည်း သူတပါး မ ဆိုင် တတ်။
10The heart that knoweth the bitterness of his own soul, in his joy the stranger shall not intermeddle.
11မ တရားသောသူ၏အိမ် သည် ပြို လဲတတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ ၏တဲ မူကား ၊ ပွင့်လန်း တတ်၏။
11The house of the wicked shall be destroyed: but the tabernacles of the just shall flourish.
12လူ ထင် သည်အတိုင်း မှန် သောလက္ခဏာ ရှိ သော်လည်း ၊ အဆုံး ၌ သေ ခြင်းသို့ပို့သော လမ်း တမျိုးရှိ၏။
12There is a way which seemeth just to a man: but the ends thereof lead to death.
13လူသည် ရယ် စဉ် အခါပင် ၊ ဝမ်းနည်း သောစိတ် သဘောရှိ၏။ ထို ရယ်မောရွှင်လန်း ခြင်းအဆုံး ၌လည်း ညှိုးငယ် ခြင်းရှိတတ်၏။
13Laughter shall be mingled with sorrow, and mourning taketh hold of the end of joy.
14စိတ် နှလုံးဖေါက်ပြန် သောသူဖြစ်စေ ၊ သူ တော် ကောင်းဖြစ်စေ ၊ မိမိ အကျင့် တို့နှင့်ဝ လိမ့်မည်။
14A fool shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man shall be above him.
15ဉာဏ် တိမ်သောသူသည် သူတပါး ပြော သမျှ ကို ယုံ တတ်၏။ ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ မိမိ သွား ရာ လမ်းကို စေ့စေ့ ကြည့်ရှုတတ်၏။
15The innocent believeth every word: the discreet man considereth his steps. No good shall come to the deceitful son: but the wise servant shall prosper in his dealings, and his way shall be made straight.
16ပညာရှိ သောသူသည် ကြောက် ၍ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ရှောင် တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူမူကား မာန ကြီး၍ ရဲရင့် တတ်၏။
16A wise man feareth and declineth from evil: the fool leapeth over and is confident.
17စိတ်တို သောသူသည် မိုက် စွာသောအမှုကို ပြု တတ်၏။ မ ကောင်းသောအကြံကို ကြံသောသူ ကိုလည်း သူတပါးမုန်း လိမ့်မည်။
17The impatient man shall work folly: and the crafty man is hateful.
18ဉာဏ် တိမ်သောသူသည် မိုက် ခြင်းကို အမွေခံ တတ်၏။ ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ သိပ္ပံ သရဖူ ကို ဆောင်းတတ်၏။
18The childish shall possess folly, and the prudent, shall look for knowledge.
19လူဆိုး တို့သည် သူ တော်ကောင်းရှေ့ ၌၎င်း ၊ မ တရားသောသူတို့သည် ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ၏ အိမ် တံခါးဝ ၌ ၎င်း ဦးချ တတ်ကြ၏။
19The evil shall fall down before the good: and the wicked before the gates of the just.
20ဆင်းရဲ သောသူသည် မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်း မုန်း ခြင်း ကိုပင် ခံရမည်။ ငွေ ရတတ်သောသူ၌မူကား ၊ များစွာ သော အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းရှိလိမ့်မည်။
20The poor man shall be hateful even to his own neighbour: but the friends of the rich are many.
21မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်း ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် အပြစ် ရှိ၏။ ဆင်းရဲ သော သူကိုသနား သောသူမူကား ၊ မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏။
21He that despiseth his neighbour, sinneth: but he that sheweth mercy to the poor, shall be blessed. He that believeth in the Lord, loveth mercy.
22မ ကောင်းသော အကြံကိုကြံ တတ်သောသူတို့ သည် မှားယွင်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျေးဇူး ပြု မည်ဟု ကြံတတ် သောသူတို့မူကား ၊ ကရုဏာ အကျိုး နှင့် သစ္စာ အကျိုးကိုခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။
22They err that work evil: but mercy and truth prepare good things.
23ကြိုးစား ၍ လုပ်လေရာရာ ၌ကျေးဇူး ရှိ ၏။ စကား များခြင်းအကျိုးမူကား ၊ ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသက်သက် တည်း။
23In much work there shall be abundance: but where there are many words, there is oftentimes want.
24ပညာရှိ သောသူတို့၏ စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာသည် သူ တို့ ဦးရစ် သရဖူဖြစ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏ မိုက် ခြင်းမူကား၊ အမိုက် သက်သက်ဖြစ်၏။
24The crown of the wise is their riches: the folly of fools, imprudence.
25မှန် သောသက်သေ သည် သူ့အသက် ကို ကယ်တင် တတ်၏။ မ မှန်သောသက်သေ မူကား ၊ မုသာ ကို သုံးတတ်၏။
25A faithful witness delivereth souls: and the double dealer uttereth lies.
26ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းသည် အားကြီး သော ကိုးစား ရာအခွင့်ကိုဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ သား တော်တို့ သည်လည်း ၊ ခိုလှုံ ရာအရပ်ကို ရ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
26In the fear of the Lord is confidence of strength, and there shall be hope for his children.
27ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောသဘောသည် အသေခံ ရာ ကျော့ကွင်း တို့မှ လွှဲရှောင် ရာအသက် စမ်းရေ တွင်း ဖြစ်၏။
27The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to decline from the ruin of death.
28ပြည်သား များပြား ရာ၌ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ဘုန်း တော် တည်၏။ ပြည်သား နည်းပါး ရာ၌ ကား ၊ မင်း အကျိုးနည်း ခြင်းရှိ၏။
28In the multitude of people is the dignity of the king: and in the small number of people the dishonour of the prince.
29စိတ် ရှည် သောသူသည် ပညာ ကြီး ၏။ စိတ်တို သောသူမူကား ၊ အထူးသဖြင့်မိုက် ပေ၏။
29He that is patient, is governed with much wisdom: but he that is impatient, exalteth his folly.
30ကျန်းမာ သောနှလုံး သည် ကိုယ် အသက်ရှင် စေ သောအကြောင်း၊ ငြူစူ သော သဘောမူကား ၊ အရိုး ဆွေးမြေ့ ခြင်းအကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။
30Soundness of heart is the life of the flesh: but envy is the rottenness of the bones.
31ဆင်းရဲသား တို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူသည် ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောဘုရားကိုကဲ့ရဲ့ ၏။ ဘုရား ကို ရိုသေ သောသူမူကား ၊ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူတို့ကို သနား တတ်၏။
31He that oppresseth the poor, upbraideth his Maker: but he that hath pity on the poor, honoureth him.
32မ တရားသောသူသည် မ တရားသဖြင့် ပြုစဉ်အခါ ၊ လှဲ ခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူမူကား ၊ သေ သောအခါ၌ ပင် မြော်လင့် စရာရှိ၏။
32The wicked man shall be driven out in his wickedness: but the just hath hope in his death.
33ဉာဏ် ရှိသောသူ၏ နှလုံး ၌ ပညာ ကျိန်းဝပ် တတ် ၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏အထဲ ၌ ရှိသောအရာမူကား ၊ ထင်ရှား တတ်၏။
33In the heart of the prudent resteth wisdom, and it shall instruct all the ignorant.
34ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတရားသည် ပြည်သား တို့ကို ချီးမြှောက် တတ်၏။ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်မူကား ၊ ပြည်သား များ တို့ကို ရှုတ်ချ တတ်၏။
34Justice exalteth a nation: but sin maketh nations miserable.
35ပညာရှိ သော ကျွန် အား ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ကျေးဇူး ပြုတတ်၏။ အရှက် ခွဲတတ်သော ကျွန်မူကား ၊ အမျက် တော်ကိုခံရ မည်။
35A wise servant is acceptable to the king: he that is good for nothing shall feel his anger.
