1ထို နောက်မှ ယေရှု သည် တိဗေရိ အိုင် တည်းဟူသောဂါလိလဲ အိုင်ကို ကူး တော်မူ၏။
1After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is that of Tiberias.
2အနာ ရောဂါစွဲသောသူ တို့၌ ပြ တော်မူသောနိမိတ် လက္ခဏာတို့ကို လူ အစုအဝေးအပေါင်း တို့သည် မြင် ကြသဖြင့် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏။
2And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3ယေရှု သည်တောင် ပေါ်သို့ တက်ကြွ ၍ တပည့် တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ထိုင် တော်မူ၏။
3Jesus therefore went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
4ထိုအခါ ယုဒ လူတို့၏ပသခါ ပွဲ ခံချိန် ရောက်လုနီး သတည်း ။
4Now the pasch, the festival day of the Jews, was near at hand.
5ယေရှု သည် မျှော်ကြည့် ၍ လူ အစုအဝေးအပေါင်း တို့သည် အထံ တော်သို့ လာ ကြသည်ကို မြင် တော်မူလျှင် ဖိလိပ္ပု အား ၊ ဤသူ တို့စားစရာ မုန့် ကို အဘယ်မှာ ဝယ် မည်နည်း ဟုမေး တော်မူ၏။
5When Jesus therefore had lifted up his eyes, and seen that a very great multitude cometh to him, he said to Philip: Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6ထိုသို့ မေးတော်မူသော်၊ မိမိ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု မည်ကိုသိ တော်မူလျက်ပင်ဖိလိပ္ပု ကိုစုံစမ်း ခြင်းငှာသာ မေး တော်မူ၏။
6And this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he would do.
7ဖိလိပ္ပု ကလည်း၊ ဤသူတို့သည် မုန့်တ ဖဲ့စီစေ့ အောင် ဒေနာရိ အပြားနှစ်ရာ အဘိုးထိုက်သောမုန့် မ လောက် ပါဟုလျှောက် ၏။
7Philip answered him: Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little.
8ရှိမုန် ပေတရု ၏ညီ အန္ဒြေ အမည်ရှိသော တပည့် တော်က၊
8One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, saith to him:
9မုယော မုန့် ငါး လုံးနှင့် ငါး ကလေးနှစ် ကောင်ပါ သော သူငယ် တစ်ယောက်ရှိ ပါ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ဤမျှလောက် များစွာသောသူတို့သည်ရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ထိုမုန့်နှင့် ငါးနှစ်ကောင်တို့ကို အဘယ် ပြောစရာ ရှိ ပါသနည်း ဟုလျှောက်၏။
9There is a boy here that hath five barley loaves, and two fishes; but what are these among so many?
10ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ လူ များတို့ကိုလျောင်း ကြစေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအရပ် ၌ မြက်ပင် ထူပြော လျက်ရှိ သည် ဖြစ်၍၊ အရေအတွက် အားဖြင့်ငါးထောင် မျှလောက် သော လူ တို့သည် လျောင်း ကြ၏။
10Then Jesus said: Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. The men therefore sat down, in number about five thousand.
11ယေရှု သည်မုန့် ကိုယူ ၍ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှ တပည့်တော်တို့အား ဝေငှ တော်မူ၍၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် လျောင်း သောသူ တို့အားဝေငှပြန်၏။ ထိုနည်းတူ ငါး နှစ်ကောင်ကိုလူများလိုချင် သမျှ ဝေငှကြ၏။
11And Jesus took the loaves: and when he had given thanks, he distributed to them that were set down. In like manner also of the fishes, as much as they would.
12ထိုသူ တို့သည်ဝ ကြပြီးမှကိုယ်တော်က၊ ဘာ မျှ မ ပျောက် စေခြင်းငှာကြွင်းကျန် သောအကျိုးအပဲ့ တို့ကို ကောက်သိမ်း ကြလော့ ဟု တပည့် တော်တို့အား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊
12And when they were filled, he said to his disciples: Gather up the fragments that remain, lest they be lost.
13စား သောသူ တို့၌ ကျန်ကြွင်း သော မုယော မုန့် ငါး လုံး၏ အကျိုးအပဲ့ တို့ကို ကောက်သိမ်း ၍ တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ် တောင်း အပြည့် ရကြ၏။
13They gathered up therefore, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above to them that had eaten.
14ထိုသို့ယေရှုပြ တော်မူသောနိမိတ် လက္ခဏာကို ထိုလူများတို့သည်မြင် လျှင်၊ ဤသူ ကား ဤလောက သို့ ကြွလာ ရသော ပရောဖက် အမှန် ဖြစ် သည်ဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
14Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done, said: This is of a truth the prophet, that is to come into the world.
15ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ရှင်ဘုရင် အရာ၌ ချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းငှာ လာ ၍ အနိုင် အထက်ပြုကြမည် အကြောင်း ကို ယေရှု သည်သိ တော်မူလျှင်၊ တောင် ပေါ်သို့ တစ်ယောက်တည်း ကြွ တော်မူပြန် ၏။
15Jesus therefore, when he knew that they would come to take him by force, and make him king, fled again into the mountain himself alone.
16ည အချိန်ရောက် သောအခါ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် အိုင် သို့ သွား ၍ လှေ ထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ကပေရနောင် မြို့သို့ ရောက်အံ့သောငှာအိုင် ကိုကူး ကြ၏။
16And when evening was come, his disciples went down to the sea.
17ထိုအခါ မှောင်မိုက် ဖြစ်၍ယေရှု သည် သူ တို့ ရှိရာသို့မ ရောက် သေး။
17And when they had gone up into a ship, they went over the sea to Capharnaum; and it was now dark, and Jesus was not come unto them.
18လေ ပြင်း မုန်တိုင်းလာ ၍ လှိုင်းတံပိုးထ လေ၏။
18And the sea arose, by reason of a great wind that blew.
19ခရီးတစ်တိုင် ခွဲနှစ်တိုင်လောက် တက်ခတ် ၍ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ယေရှု အိုင် ပေါ်မှာ စက်တော်ဖြန့် ၍ လှေ အနီး သို့ချဉ်း တော်မူသည်ကို သူတို့သည်မြင် ၍ ကြောက်လန့် ခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
19When they had rowed therefore about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking upon the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, and they were afraid.
20ကိုယ်တော် ကလည်း ၊ ငါ ပင်ဖြစ် သည်၊ မ ကြောက်လန့် ကြနှင့် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလျှင်၊ လှေ ထဲသို့ ကိုယ်တော် တိုင် ဝမ်းမြောက် စွာခံယူ ကြ၏။
20But he saith to them: It is I; be not afraid.
21လှေ သည်လည်းရောက် လိုသောရပ် သို့ တခဏခြင်း တွင် ဆိုက် လေ၏။
21They were willing therefore to take him into the ship; and presently the ship was at the land to which they were going.
22အိုင် တစ်ဘက် ၌နေ သော လူ အစုအဝေးတို့သည်ကား၊
22The next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea, saw that there was no other ship there but one, and that Jesus had not entered into the ship with his disciples, but that his disciples were gone away alone.
23အထက်ကသခင် ဘုရားသည် ကျေးဇူး တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှလူများသည်မုန့် ကိုစား ကြရာ အရပ် နှင့်အနီး တိဗေရိ မြို့မှ အခြား သောလှေ ငယ်များလာ သော်လည်း ၊ မနေ့၌တပည့်တော်တို့ဝင်သောလှေ မှတစ်ပါး အဘယ်လှေမျှ မရှိ သည် ကို၎င်း ၊ ယေရှု သည်ထို လှေ ထဲသို့ တပည့် တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ဝင်တော်မ မူဘဲလျက်၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သာ သွား သည် ကို၎င်း၊ မြင် ကြ၍
23But other ships came in from Tiberias; nigh unto the place where they had eaten the bread, the Lord giving thanks.
24ထို အရပ်၌ ယေရှု မှစသောတပည့် တော်တို့မ ရှိသည်ကိုသိ ကြသဖြင့်၊ နက်ဖြန် နေ့၌ လှေ စီး ၍ ယေရှု ကို ရှာ ခြင်းငှာကပေရနောင် မြို့သို့ သွား ကြ၏။
24When therefore the multitude saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they took shipping, and came to Capharnaum, seeking for Jesus.
25အိုင် တစ်ဘက် ၌တွေ့ လျှင်၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ အဘယ် သောအခါဤအရပ် သို့ ကြွလာ တော်မူသနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက် ကြ၏။
25And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him: Rabbi, when camest thou hither?
26ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည်နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာတို့ကို မြင် သောကြောင့် ငါ့ ကိုရှာ သည်မ ဟုတ်။
26Jesus answered them, and said: Amen, amen I say to you, you seek me, not because you have seen miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27မုန့် ကို စား ၍ ဝ သောကြောင့် သာ ရှာကြ၏။ ပျက်စီး တတ်သောအစာ ကိုရခြင်းငှာမ ကြိုးစား ကြနှင့်။ လူသားသည် သင်တို့အား ပေး၍ ထာဝရ အသက် နှင့်အမျှတည် တတ်သောအစာ ကိုရခြင်းငှာကြိုးစားကြလော့။ ထိုသား သည် ခမည်းတော် ဘုရား ၏တံဆိပ် ခတ်ခြင်းကို ခံ သောသူ ဖြစ်သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
27Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.
28ထိုသူ တို့ကလည်း ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အလိုတော်နှင့်ညီသော အကျင့် ကိုကျင့် ခြင်းငှာ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု ရ ပါမည်နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက် ကြ၏။
28They said therefore unto him: What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?
29ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ဘုရားသခင် စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ ကို ယုံကြည် ခြင်းအကျင့် ကား၊ အလိုတော်နှင့် ညီသော အကျင့်တည်း ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
29Jesus answered, and said to them: This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he hath sent.
30ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်မျက်စိနှင့်မြင် ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကိုယုံကြည် မည်အကြောင်း အဘယ် နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာကို ပြ တော်မူသနည်း။ အဘယ် အမှုကို ပြု တော်မူသနည်း။
30They said therefore to him: What sign therefore dost thou shew, that we may see, and may believe thee? What dost thou work?
31ကျမ်းစာ၌လာ သည်ကား၊ ထိုသူ တို့ စားစရာ ဘို့ကောင်းကင် မှ မုန့် ကို ပေး တော်မူသည်ဟု လာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ငါ တို့ဘိုးဘေး များသည်တော ၌ မန္န ကိုစား ကြသည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
31Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ မောရှ သည် ကောင်းကင် မုန့် ကို သင် တို့အားမ ပေး ၊ ခမည်းတော် သည် မှန် သောကောင်းကင် မုန့် ကို သင် တို့အား ပေး တော်မူ၏။
32Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you; Moses gave you not bread from heaven, but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33ဘုရားသခင် ၏မုန့် မူကား ၊ ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် ၍ လောကီသား တို့အားအသက် ကို ပေး သောမုန့် ပေတည်း ဟုမိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊
33For the bread of God is that which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life to the world.
34သခင် ၊ ထို မုန့် ကိုအကျွန်ုပ် တို့အား အစဉ်မပြတ် ပေး တော်မူပါဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
34They said therefore unto him: Lord, give us always this bread.
35ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါ သည်အသက် မုန့် ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ ထံသို့ လာ သောသူ သည်နောက်တဖန်အဆာအမွတ် မ ခံရ။ ငါ့ ကို ယုံကြည် သောသူ သည် နောက်တစ်ဖန် ရေငတ် မ ခံရ။
35And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst.
36သို့သော်လည်း သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုမြင် လျက် ပင် မ ယုံကြည် ကြဟု ငါဆို ခဲ့ပြီ။
36But I said unto you, that you also have seen me, and you believe not.
37ခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ အား ပေး တော်မူသမျှ သောသူ တို့သည် ငါ ထံသို့ လာ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့ ထံသို့ လာ သောသူ ကိုငါသည်အလျင်း မ ပယ် ။
37All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.
38အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါသည် ကိုယ် အလို သို့လိုက် ခြင်းငှာ ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် သည်မ ဟုတ်။ ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ ၏ အလို တော်သို့လိုက်ခြင်းငှာဆင်းသက်၏။
38Because I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူသောခမည်းတော် ၏ အလို တော်ကား ၊ ငါ့ အားပေး သောသူ တို့တွင် တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်ကိုမျှ ငါမ ပျောက် စေရဘဲ၊ နောက်ဆုံး သောနေ့ ၌ ထိုသူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ထမြောက် စေခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း၊
39Now this is the will of the Father who sent me: that of all that he hath given me, I should lose nothing; but should raise it up again in the last day.
40သား တော်ကို ကြည့် မြင်၍ ယုံကြည် သောသူရှိသမျှ တို့သည် ထာဝရ အသက် ကိုရ စေခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း အလို တော်ရှိ၏။ ငါ သည်လည်း နောက်ဆုံး သောနေ့ ၌ ထိုသူ တို့ကို ထမြောက် စေမည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
40And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day.
41ငါ သည်ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် သောမုန့် ဖြစ် ၏ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည် ကို ယုဒ လူတို့က၊
41The Jews therefore murmured at him, because he had said: I am the living bread which came down from heaven.
42ဤသူ သည် ယောသပ် ၏သား ယေရှု ဖြစ် သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သူ ၏မိဘ ကိုငါ တို့သိ သည်မဟုတ်လော။ ငါသည် ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် ၏ဟု သူသည်အဘယ်သို့ ဆို ရသနည်းဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့ ပြစ်တင်လျက် ဆို ကြ၏။
42And they said: Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then saith he, I came down from heaven?
43ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ငါ့ကိုအချင်းချင်း ကဲ့ရဲ့ ၍ အပြစ်မ တင်ကြနှင့်။
43Jesus therefore answered, and said to them: Murmur not among yourselves.
44ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောခမည်းတော် သည် သွေးဆောင် တော်မ မူလျှင် ၊ အဘယ်သူ မျှ ငါ့ ထံသို့ မလာ နိုင် ။ လာသောသူ ကိုနောက်ဆုံး သောနေ့ ၌ ငါ ထမြောက် စေမည်။
44No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath sent me, draw him; and I will raise him up in the last day.
45အနာဂတ္တိ ကျမ်းစာ ၌ လာ သည်ကား၊ ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ဆုံးမ သွန်သင်တော်မူသောသူဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟုလာသည်နှင့်အညီ။ ခမည်းတော် ထံ၌ နားထောင် ၍ နည်းခံ သောသူ မှန်သမျှ တို့သည် ငါ့ ထံသို့ လာ ကြ၏။
45It is written in the prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that hath heard of the Father, and hath learned, cometh to me.
46ထိုသို့ငါဆိုသော၊ ဘုရားသခင့် အထံ တော်က ကြွလာသောသူ မှတစ်ပါး တစုံတစ်ယောက် သော သူ သည် ခမည်းတော် ကိုမြင် ခဲ့ပြီဟု မ ဆိုလို။ ကြွလာသောသူဟူမူကား၊ ခမည်းတော် ကို မြင် ခဲ့ပြီ။
46Not that any man hath seen the Father; but he who is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ငါ့ကို ယုံကြည် သောသူ သည်ထာဝရ အသက် ကိုရ ၏။
47Amen, amen I say unto you: He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life.
48ငါ သည်အသက် မုန့် ဖြစ် ၏။
48I am the bread of life.
49သင်တို့ဘိုးဘေး များသည် တော ၌ မန္န ကိုစား လျက် သေ ရကြ၏။
49Your fathers did eat manna in the desert, and are dead.
50ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် သောမုန့် ကို စား သောသူ သည်သေ ခြင်းနှင့်ကင်းလွတ် ၏။
50This is the bread which cometh down from heaven; that if any man eat of it, he may not die.
51ငါ သည်ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် သောအသက် မုန့် ဖြစ်၏။ ဤ မုန့် ကို စား သောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ အစဉ်မပြတ် အသက် ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါ ပေးသောမုန့် ကား၊ လောကီသား တို့၏ အသက် အဘို့ အလိုငှာ စွန့် သောငါ ၏ အသား ပေတည်း ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
51I am the living bread which came down from heaven.
52ထိုအခါ ယုဒ လူတို့က၊ ဤသူ သည်မိမိ အသား ကို ငါ တို့စားစရာ ဘို့အဘယ်သို့ ပေး နိုင် သနည်းဟု အချင်းချင်း ငြင်းခုံ ကြ၏။
52If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world.
53ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ လူသား ၏အသား ကိုမ စား ၊ အသွေး ကိုမသောက် လျှင် သင် တို့၌ အသက် မ ရှိ ။
53The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
54ငါ ၏အသား ကိုစား ၍ ငါ ၏အသွေး ကိုလည်း သောက် သောသူ သည်ထာဝရ အသက် ကိုရ ၏။ ထိုသူ ကို နောက်ဆုံး သောနေ့ ၌ ငါ ထမြောက် စေမည်။
54Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.
55ငါ ၏အသား သည် စားစရာ ကောင်း ၏။ ငါ ၏ အသွေး လည်းသောက် စရာကောင်း ၏။
55He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day.
56ငါ ၏အသား အသွေး ကို သောက် စား သောသူ သည်ငါ ၌ တည် ၏။ ထိုသူ ၌ လည်း ငါ တည်၏။
56For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.
57အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူ၍၊ ငါ သည်ခမည်းတော် အားဖြင့် အသက် ရှင်သည်နည်းတူ ၊ ငါ့ ကိုစား သောသူ သည်ငါ့ အားဖြင့် အသက် ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။
57He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.
58ဤမုန့် ကား၊ ကောင်းကင် မှ ဆင်းသက် သောမုန့် ဖြစ် ၏။ သင်တို့ ဘိုးဘေး များသည် မန္နကိုစား လျက် သေ ရသကဲ့သို့ မ ဟုတ်။ ဤ မုန့် ကိုစား သောသူ သည် အစဉ်မပြတ် အသက် ရှင်လိမ့်မည် ဟု၊
58As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, the same also shall live by me.
59ကပေရနောင် မြို့မှာ တရားစရပ် ၌ ဩဝါဒ ပေးစဉ်တွင် မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
59This is the bread that came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead. He that eateth this bread, shall live for ever.
60တပည့် တော်အများ တို့သည် ကြား လျှင်၊ ထို စကား သည် အလွန် ခက်လှ၏။ အဘယ်သူ နာခံ နိုင် မည်နည်းဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
60These things he said, teaching in the synagogue, in Capharnaum.
61ထိုသို့တပည့် တော်တို့ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ပြစ်တင်သည်ကို ယေရှု သည်အလိုအလျောက် သိ တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ဤ တရား စကားကြောင့် သင် တို့သည် စိတ်ပျက် ကြသလော။
61Many therefore of his disciples, hearing it, said: This saying is hard, and who can hear it?
62လူ သား သည်အရင် နေရာ အရပ်သို့တဖန် ကြွတက် သည်ကိုမြင် ရလျှင် အဘယ်သို့ထင်မှတ်ကြမည်နည်း။
62But Jesus, knowing in himself, that his disciples murmured at this, said to them: Doth this scandalize you?
63ဝိညာဉ် သာလျှင်အသက် ရှင်စေ၏။ ကိုယ် ကာယသည်အလျှင်း မ တတ်နိုင် ။ ငါ ပြော သောစကား သည် ဝိညာဉ် ဖြစ်၏။ အသက် လည်း ဖြစ်၏။
63If then you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
64သို့သော်လည်း သင် တို့တွင် မ ယုံကြည် သောသူ တချို့ ရှိ ၏။
64It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I have spoken to you, are spirit and life.
65ထိုကြောင့် ငါ၏ခမည်းတော် သည် အခွင့်ပေး တော်မ မူလျှင် ၊ အဘယ်သူ မျှငါ ထံသို့ မလာ နိုင် ဟု အထက် ငါဆို ခဲ့ပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည် အကြောင်းဟူမူကား၊ အဘယ်သူ မ ယုံကြည် သည်ကို၎င်း ၊ အဘယ်သူ သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို အပ်နှံ မည်ကို၎င်း ၊ ယေရှု သည်အစအဦး ၌ သိ တော်မူ၏။
65But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning, who they were that did not believe, and who he was, that would betray him.
66ထိုအခါမှစ၍ တပည့် တော်များ တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် မ ပေါင်းဖော် ဘဲ ဆုတ် သွား ကြ၏။
66And he said: Therefore did I say to you, that no man can come to me, unless it be given him by my Father.
67ထိုကြောင့် ယေရှု သည် တကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသောသူ တို့အား၊ သင် တို့သည်လည်း ထွက်သွား ခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ ကြသလော ဟုမေး တော်မူလျှင်၊
67After this many of his disciples went back; and walked no more with him.
68ရှိမုန် ပေတရု က၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဘယ်သူ ထံသို့ သွား ရမည်နည်း။ ထာဝရ အသက် နှင့် ယှဉ်သော စကား သည်ကိုယ်တော်၌ တည် ပါ၏။
68Then Jesus said to the twelve: Will you also go away?
69ကိုယ်တော် သည် ခရစ်တော်တည်းဟူသောအသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား တော် ဖြစ် တော်မူသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ယုံကြည် သိမှတ် ကြပါသည်ဟုလျှောက် လေ၏။
69And Simon Peter answered him: Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
70ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသောသင် တို့ကို ငါ ရွေးကောက် သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း သင် တို့တွင် ရန်သူ တစ် ယောက်ပါ မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
70And we have believed and have known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of God.
71ထိုသို့ မိန့် တော်မူသော်၊ တကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင် ဖြစ်၍ကိုယ်တော် ကိုအပ်နှံ မည်သူ ၊ ရှိမုန် ၏သား ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ် ကိုဆိုလို သတည်း။
71Jesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve; and one of you is a devil?
