1 Corinthians 13

King James Version with Apocrypha
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1MA i aja lokaia en aramaj akan o tounlan kan, ap jota limpok, nan i rajon nil en mata mal de nil en jimpel.
2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
2O ma i aja deideikop o ereki me rir akan karoj, o tiak kan karoj, o nai dir en pojon, me itar on en kamokid wei nana kan, ap jota limpok nan jota meakot nai.
3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor , and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
3O ma i pan kijakija wei ai dipijou karoj, pwen katunoleki me jamama kan, o ma i kida war ai, pwen karonala, ap jota limpok, nan jota katepa on ia.
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
4Limpok kin kanonama o kadek, limpok jota kin peirin limpok jota kin akmomo o jo kejej.
5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
5A jota kin aklemai, a jota kin roporop on pein i, a jo jerkailon, a jota kin depuk on en amen a jued.
6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
6A jota kin peren me japun, a a kin perenki me melel.
7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
7A kin kak pa meakaroj, o kin pojon karoj, a kaporoporeki karoj, o lolin on meakaroj.
8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
8Limpok jota pan tukedi, a deideikop akan pan tukedi, o lokaia kan pan jola, o lolekon pan kunla.
9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
9Pwe kitail me er pali ta, o kokop pali ta.
10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
10A lao kaunjokala, me pali ta pan momela.
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
11Ni ai jeri i kin lokaia dueta jeri amen o i lamelame dueta jeri amen, o kajaui dueta jeri amen, a i lao wiala ol amen, i muei jan tau en jeri.
12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
12Pwe anjau wet kitail kin ireron nan klaj edied eu, a mur a pan janjal mau. Anjau wet i ekij lolekonlar, a mur i pan aja duen a aja ia.
13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
13Ari jon jilu pukat: Pojon, kaporopor o limpok pan mimieta, a me lapalap re ’rail limpok.
