Jeremiah 21

1The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashhur the son of Malchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying:
1耶和华的话临到 耶利米 。那时， 西底家 王打发 玛基雅 的儿子 巴施户珥 和 玛西雅 的儿子祭司 西番雅 去见 耶利米 ，说：
2'Inquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; peradventure the LORD will deal with us according to all His wondrous works, that he may go up from us.'
2「请你为我们求问耶和华；因为 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 来攻击我们，或者耶和华照他一切奇妙的作为待我们，使 巴比伦 王离开我们上去。」
3Then said Jeremiah unto them: Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah:
3耶利米 对他们说：「你们当对 西底家 这样说：
4Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, that besiege you without the walls, and I will gather them into the midst of this city.
4『耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：我要使你们手中的兵器，就是你们在城外与 巴比伦 王和围困你们的 迦勒底 人打仗的兵器翻转过来，又要使这些都聚集在这城中。
5And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.
5并且我要在怒气、忿怒，和大恼恨中，用伸出来的手，并大能的膀臂，亲自攻击你们；
6And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast; they shall die of a great pestilence.
6又要击打这城的居民，连人带牲畜都必遭遇大瘟疫死亡。
7And afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life; and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have compassion.
7以后我要将 犹大 王 西底家 和他的臣仆百姓，就是在城内，从瘟疫、刀剑、饥荒中剩下的人，都交在 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 的手中和他们仇敌，并寻索其命的人手中。 巴比伦 王必用刀击杀他们，不顾惜，不可怜，不怜悯。这是耶和华说的。』
8And unto this people thou shalt say: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.
8「你要对这百姓说：『耶和华如此说：看哪，我将生命的路和死亡的路摆在你们面前。
9He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he that goeth out, and falleth away to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
9住在这城里的必遭刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死；但出去归降围困你们 迦勒底 人的必得存活，要以自己的命为掠物。
10For I have set My face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD; it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
10耶和华说：我向这城变脸，降祸不降福；这城必交在 巴比伦 王的手中，他必用火焚烧。』」
11And unto the house of the king of Judah: Hear ye the word of the LORD;
11「至于 犹大 王的家，你们当听耶和华的话。
12O house of David, thus saith the LORD: Execute justice in the morning, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest My fury go forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
12大卫 家啊，耶和华如此说： 你们每早晨要施行公平， 拯救被抢夺的脱离欺压人的手， 恐怕我的忿怒因你们的恶行发作， 如火着起，甚至无人能以熄灭。
13Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; ye that say: 'Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?'
13耶和华说：住山谷和平原磐石上的居民， 你们说：谁能下来攻击我们？ 谁能进入我们的住处呢？ 看哪，我与你们为敌。
14And I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD; and I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it shall devour all that is round about her.
14耶和华又说： 我必按你们做事的结果刑罚你们； 我也必使火在 耶路撒冷 的林中着起， 将她四围所有的尽行烧灭。」
