Isaiah 48

1Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the fountain of Judah; who swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
1雅各 家，称为 以色列 名下， 从 犹大 水源出来的，当听我言！ 你们指着耶和华的名起誓， 提说 以色列 的 神， 却不凭诚实，不凭公义。
2For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel, the LORD of hosts is His name.
2他们自称为圣城的人， 所倚靠的是 名为万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神。
3I have declared the former things from of old; yea, they went forth out of My mouth, and I announced them; suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.
3主说：早先的事，我从古时说明， 已经出了我的口， 也是我所指示的； 我忽然行做，事便成就。
4Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
4因为我素来知道你是顽梗的— 你的颈项是铁的； 你的额是铜的。
5Therefore I have declared it to thee from of old; before it came to pass I announced it to thee; lest thou shouldest say: 'Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.'
5所以，我从古时将这事给你说明， 在未成以先指示你， 免得你说：这些事是我的偶像所行的， 是我雕刻的偶像和我铸造的偶像所命定的。
6Thou hast heard, see, all this; and ye, will ye not declare it? I have announced unto thee new things from this time, even hidden things, which thou hast not known.
6你已经听见，现在要看见这一切； 你不说明吗？ 从今以后，我将新事， 就是你所不知道的隐密事指示你。
7They are created now, and not from of old, and before this day thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say: 'Behold, I knew them.'
7这事是现今造的，并非从古就有； 在今日以先，你也未曾听见， 免得你说：这事我早已知道了。
8Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
8你未曾听见，未曾知道； 你的耳朵从来未曾开通。 我原知道你行事极其诡诈， 你自从出胎以来， 便称为悖逆的。
9For My name's sake will I defer Mine anger, and for My praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
9我为我的名暂且忍怒， 为我的颂赞向你容忍， 不将你剪除。
10Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have tried thee in the furnace of affliction.
10我熬炼你，却不像熬炼银子； 你在苦难的炉中，我拣选你。
11For Mine own sake, for Mine own sake, will I do it; for how should it be profaned? And My glory will I not give to another.
11我为自己的缘故必行这事， 我焉能使 我的名 被亵渎？ 我必不将我的荣耀归给假神。
12Hearken unto Me, O Jacob, and Israel My called: I am He; I am the first, I also am the last.
12雅各 —我所选召的 以色列 啊， 当听我言： 我是耶和华， 我是首先的，也是末后的。
13Yea, My hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand hath spread out the heavens; when I call unto them, they stand up together.
13我手立了地的根基； 我右手铺张诸天； 我一招呼便都立住。
14Assemble yourselves, all ye, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? He whom the LORD loveth shall perform His pleasure on Babylon, and show His arm on the Chaldeans.
14你们都当聚集而听， 他们内中谁说过这些事？ 耶和华所爱的人必向 巴比伦 行他所喜悦的事； 他的膀臂也要 加在 迦勒底 人身上。
15I, even I, have spoken, yea, I have called him; I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
15惟有我曾说过，我又选召他， 领他来，他的道路就必亨通。
16Come ye near unto Me, hear ye this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord GOD hath sent me, and His spirit.
16你们要就近我来听这话： 我从起头并未曾在隐密处说话； 自从有这事，我就在那里。 现在，主耶和华差遣我和他的灵来。
17Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD thy God, who teacheth thee for thy profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
17耶和华—你的救赎主， 以色列 的圣者如此说： 我是耶和华—你的 神， 教训你，使你得益处， 引导你所当行的路。
18Oh that thou wouldest hearken to My commandments! then would thy peace be as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea;
18甚愿你素来听从我的命令！ 你的平安就如河水； 你的公义就如海浪。
19Thy seed also would be as the sand, and the offspring of thy body like the grains thereof; his name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before Me.
19你的后裔也必多如 海 沙； 你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。 他的名在我面前必不剪除， 也不灭绝。
20Go ye forth from Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye: 'The LORD hath redeemed His servant Jacob.
20你们要从 巴比伦 出来， 从 迦勒底 人中逃脱， 以欢呼的声音传扬说： 耶和华救赎了他的仆人 雅各 ！ 你们要将这事宣扬到地极。
21And they thirsted not when He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; He cleaved the rock also, and the waters gushed out.'
21耶和华引导他们经过沙漠。 他们并不干渴； 他为他们使水从磐石而流， 分裂磐石，水就涌出。
22There is no peace, saith the LORD concerning the wicked.
22耶和华说： 恶人必不得平安！
