1'Come, and let us return unto the LORD; for He hath torn, and He will heal us, He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.
1來吧，我們歸向耶和華！ 他撕裂我們，也必醫治； 他打傷我們，也必纏裹。
2After two days will He revive us, on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.
2過兩天他必使我們甦醒， 第三天他必使我們興起， 我們就在他面前得以存活。
3And let us know, eagerly strive to know the LORD, His going forth is sure as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.'
3我們務要認識耶和華， 竭力追求認識他。 他出現確如晨 光 ； 他必臨到我們像甘雨， 像滋潤田地的春雨。
4O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that early passeth away.
4主說： 以法蓮 哪，我可向你怎樣行呢？ 猶大 啊，我可向你怎樣做呢？ 因為你們的良善如同早晨的雲霧， 又如速散的甘露。
5Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; and thy judgment goeth forth as the light.
5因此，我藉先知砍伐他們， 以我口中的話殺戮他們； 我施行的審判如光發出。
6For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt-offerings.
6我喜愛良善，不喜愛祭祀； 喜愛認識上帝，勝於燔祭。
7But they like men have transgressed the covenant; there have they dealt treacherously against Me.
7他們卻如 亞當 背約， 在境內向我行事詭詐。
8Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, it is covered with footprints of blood.
8基列 是作孽之人的城， 被血沾染。
9And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so doth the company of priests; they murder in the way toward Shechem; yea, they commit enormity.
9強盜成群，怎樣埋伏殺人， 祭司結黨，也照樣在 示劍 的路上殺戮， 行了邪惡。
10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; there harlotry is found in Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
10在 以色列 家，我見了可憎的事； 在 以法蓮 那裏有淫行， 以色列 被玷污。
11Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for thee! When I would turn the captivity of My people,
11猶大 啊，我使被擄之民歸回的時候， 必有為你所命定的收場。
