Hosea 12

1(12-2) Ephraim striveth after wind, and followeth after the east wind; all the day he multiplieth lies and desolation; and they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.
1以法蓮 吃風，且追趕東風， 時常增添虛謊和強暴， 與 亞述 立約，把油送到 埃及 。
2(12-3) The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways, according to his doings will He recompense him.
2耶和華與 猶大 爭辯， 必照 雅各 所行的懲罰他， 按他所做的報應他。
3(12-4) In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and by his strength he strove with a godlike being;
3他在腹中抓住哥哥的腳跟， 壯年的時候與上帝較力，
4(12-5) So he strove with an angel, and prevailed; he wept, and made supplication unto him; at Beth-el he would find him, and there he would speak with us;
4與天使較力，並且得勝， 哭泣懇求， 在 伯特利 遇見耶和華。 耶和華－萬軍之上帝在那裏曉諭我們 以色列 人； 耶和華是他可記念的 名 。
5(12-6) But the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD is His name.

6(12-7) Therefore turn thou to thy God; keep mercy and justice, and wait for thy God continually.
6所以你當歸向你的上帝， 謹守仁愛、公平，常常等候你的上帝。
7(12-8) As for the trafficker, the balances of deceit are in his hand. He loveth to oppress.
7以法蓮 是商人， 手裏有詭詐的天平，愛行欺騙。
8(12-9) And Ephraim said: 'Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth; in all my labours they shall find in me no iniquity that were sin.'
8以法蓮 說： 我果然成了富足，得了財寶； 我所勞碌得來的， 人必不見有甚麼不義，可算為罪的。
9(12-10) But I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt; I will yet again make thee to dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed season.
9自從你出 埃及 地以來， 我就是耶和華－你的上帝； 我必使你再住帳棚，如在大會的日子一樣。
10(12-11) I have also spoken unto the prophets, and I have multiplied visions; and by the ministry of the prophets have I used similitudes.
10我已曉諭眾先知， 並且加增默示， 藉先知設立比喻。
11(12-12) If Gilead be given to iniquity becoming altogether vanity, in Gilgal they sacrifice unto bullocks; yea, their altars shall be as heaps in the furrows of the field.
11基列 人沒有罪孽嗎？ 他們全然是虛假的。 人在 吉甲 獻牛犢為祭， 他們的祭壇好像田間犂溝中的亂堆。
12(12-13) And Jacob fled into the field of Aram, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.
12從前 雅各 逃到 亞蘭 地， 以色列 為得妻服事人， 為得妻與人放羊。
13(12-14) And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he kept.
13耶和華藉先知領 以色列 從 埃及 上來； 以色列 也藉先知而得保存。
14(12-15) Ephraim hath provoked most bitterly; therefore shall his blood be cast upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto him.
14以法蓮 大大惹動 主 怒， 所以他流血的罪必歸在他身上。 主必將那因 以法蓮 所受的羞辱歸還他。
