1And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the desert,
1耶稣被圣灵充满，从 约旦河 回来，圣灵将他引到旷野，
2For the space of forty days; and was tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days; and when they were ended, he was hungry.
2四十天受魔鬼的试探。那些日子没有吃什么；日子满了，他就饿了。
3And the devil said to him: If thou be the Son of God, say to this stone that it be made bread.
3魔鬼对他说：「你若是 神的儿子，可以吩咐这块石头变成食物。」
4And Jesus answered him: It is written, that Man liveth not by bread alone, but by every word of God.
4耶稣回答说：「 经上 记着说：『人活着不是单靠食物， 乃是靠 神口里所出的一切话 。』」
5And the devil led him into a high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time;
5魔鬼又领他上了 高山 ，霎时间把天下的万国都指给他看，
6And he said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them.
6对他说：「这一切权柄、荣华，我都要给你，因为这原是交付我的，我愿意给谁就给谁。
7If thou therefore wilt adore before me, all shall be thine.
7你若在我面前下拜，这都要归你。」
8And Jesus answering said to him: It is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
8耶稣说：「 经上 记着说： 当拜主—你的 神， 单要事奉他。」
9And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and he said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself from hence.
9魔鬼又领他到 耶路撒冷 去，叫他站在殿顶上，对他说：「你若是 神的儿子，可以从这里跳下去；
10For it is written, that He hath given his angels charge over thee, that they keep thee.
10因为 经上 记着说： 主要为你吩咐他的使者保护你；
11And that in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone.
11他们要用手托着你， 免得你的脚碰在石头上。」
12And Jesus answering, said to him: It is said: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
12耶稣对他说：「 经上 说：『不可试探主—你的 神。』」
13And all the temptation being ended, the devil departed from him for a time.
13魔鬼用完了各样的试探，就暂时离开耶稣。
14And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit, into Galilee, and the fame of him went out through the whole country.
14耶稣满有圣灵的能力，回到 加利利 ；他的名声就传遍了四方。
15And he taught in their synagogues, and was magnified by all.
15他在各会堂里教训人，众人都称赞他。
16And he came to Nazareth, where he was brought up: and he went into the synagogue, according to his custom, on the sabbath day; and he rose up to read.
16耶稣来到 拿撒勒 ，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念 圣经 。
17And the book of Isaias the prophet was delivered unto him. And as he unfolded the book, he found the place where it was written:
17有人把先知 以赛亚 的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：
18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Wherefore he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the contrite of heart,
18主的灵在我身上， 因为他用膏膏我， 叫我传福音给贫穷的人； 差遣我报告： 被掳的得释放， 瞎眼的得看见， 叫那受压制的得自由，
19To preach deliverance to the captives, and sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of reward.
19报告 神悦纳人的禧年。
20And when he had folded the book, he restored it to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.
20于是把书卷起来，交还执事，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。
21And he began to say to them: This day is fulfilled this scripture in your ears.
21耶稣对他们说：「今天这经应验在你们耳中了。」
22And all gave testimony to him: and they wondered at the words of grace that proceeded from his mouth, and they said: Is not this the son of Joseph?
22众人都称赞他，并希奇他口中所出的恩言；又说：「这不是 约瑟 的儿子吗？」
23And he said to them: Doubtless you will say to me this similitude: Physician, heal thyself: as great things as we have heard done in Capharnaum, do also here in thy own country.
23耶稣对他们说：「你们必引这俗语向我说：『医生，你医治自己吧！我们听见你在 迦百农 所行的事，也当行在你自己家乡里』」；
24And he said: Amen I say to you, that no prophet is accepted in his own country.
24又说：「我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人悦纳的。
25In truth I say to you, there were many widows in the days of Elias in Israel, when heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there was a great famine throughout all the earth.
25我对你们说实话，当 以利亚 的时候，天闭塞了三年零六个月，遍地有大饥荒，那时， 以色列 中有许多寡妇，
26And to none of them was Elias sent, but to Sarepta of Sidon, to a widow woman.
26以利亚 并没有奉差往她们一个人那里去，只奉差往 西顿 的 撒勒法 一个寡妇那里去。
27And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet: and none of them was cleansed but Naaman the Syrian.
27先知 以利沙 的时候， 以色列 中有许多长大麻风的，但内中除了 叙利亚 国的 乃缦 ，没有一个得洁净的。」
28And all they in the synagogue, hearing these things, were filled with anger.
28会堂里的人听见这话，都怒气满胸，
29And they rose up and thrust him out of the city; and they brought him to the brow of the hill, whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
29就起来撵他出城（他们的城造在山上）；他们带他到山崖，要把他推下去。
30But he passing through the midst of them, went his way.
30他却从他们中间直行，过去了。
31And he went down into Capharnaum, a city of Galilee, and there he taught them on the sabbath days.
31耶稣下到 迦百农 ，就是 加利利 的一座城，在安息日教训众人。
32And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his speech was with power.
32他们很希奇他的教训，因为他的话里有权柄。
33And in the synagogue there was a man who had an unclean devil, and he cried out with a loud voice,
33在会堂里有一个人，被污鬼的精气附着，大声喊叫说：
34Saying: Let us alone, what have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.
34「唉！ 拿撒勒 的耶稣，我们与你有什么相干？你来灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，乃是 神的圣者。」
35And Jesus rebuked him, saying: Hold thy peace, and go out of him. And when the devil had thrown him into the midst, he went out of him, and hurt him not at all.
35耶稣责备他说：「不要作声，从这人身上出来吧！」鬼把那人摔倒在众人中间，就出来了，却也没有害他。
36And there came fear upon all, and they talked among themselves, saying: What word is this, for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they go out?
36众人都惊讶，彼此对问说：「这是什么道理呢？因为他用权柄能力吩咐污鬼，污鬼就出来。」
37And the fame of him was published into every place of the country.
37于是耶稣的名声传遍了周围地方。
38And Jesus rising up out of the synagogue, went into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever, and they besought him for her.
38耶稣出了会堂，进了 西门 的家。 西门 的岳母害热病甚重，有人为她求耶稣。
39And standing over her, he commanded the fever, and it left her. And immediately rising, she ministered to them.
39耶稣站在她旁边，斥责那热病，热就退了。她立刻起来服事他们。
40And when the sun was down, all they that had any sick with divers diseases, brought them to him. But he laying his hands on every one of them, healed them.
40日落的时候，凡有病人的，不论害什么病，都带到耶稣那里。耶稣按手在他们各人身上，医好他们。
41And devils went out from many, crying out and saying: Thou art the Son of God. And rebuking them he suffered them not to speak, for they knew that he was Christ.
41又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说：「你是 神的儿子。」耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话，因为他们知道他是基督。
42And when it was day, going out he went into a desert place, and the multitudes sought him, and came unto him: and they stayed him that he should not depart from them.
42天亮的时候，耶稣出来，走到旷野地方。众人去找他，到了他那里，要留住他，不要他离开他们。
43To whom he said: To other cities also I must preach the kingdom of God: for therefore am I sent.
43但耶稣对他们说：「我也必须在别城传 神国的福音，因我奉差原是为此。」
44And he was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
44于是耶稣在 加利利 的各会堂传道。
