1And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the desert,
1ယေရှု သည် သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ် တော်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ လျက်၊ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နားမှ ပြန် စဉ်တွင် ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် တော သို့ ပို့ဆောင် တော်မူ၏။
2For the space of forty days; and was tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days; and when they were ended, he was hungry.
2အရက် လေးဆယ် ပတ်လုံးမာရ်နတ် ၏ စုံစမ်း သွေးဆောင်ခြင်းကို ခံတော်မူ၏။ ထို ကာလ ပတ်လုံးအစာအာဟာရကို သုံးဆောင် တော်မ မူ။ ထိုကာလလွန် ပြီးမှ မွတ်သိပ် တော်မူ၏။
3And the devil said to him: If thou be the Son of God, say to this stone that it be made bread.
3မာရ်နတ် ကလည်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား တော်မှန် လျှင် ဤ ကျောက်ခဲ ကိုမုန့် ဖြစ် စေခြင်းငှာ အမိန့် ရှိတော်မူပါဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
4And Jesus answered him: It is written, that Man liveth not by bread alone, but by every word of God.
4ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ လူ သည်မုန့် အားဖြင့် သာ အသက် ကိုမွေးရမည်မ ဟုတ်။ ဘုရားသခင်မိန့်တော်မူသမျှ အားဖြင့်အသက်ကိုမွေးရမည်ကျမ်းစာ၌လာ သည် ဟု ပြန်ပြောတော်မူ ၏။
5And the devil led him into a high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time;
5တစ်ဖန် မာရ်နတ် သည် ယေရှု ကိုမြင့်လှသော တောင်ပေါ်သို့ဆောင်သွား ၍၊ ဤလောက ၌ရှိသမျှ သော တိုင်း နိုင်ငံတို့ကို တစ်ခဏခြင်း တွင် ပြညွှန် ၍ ၊
6And he said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them.
6ဤ ဘုန်း တန်ခိုး အာနုဘော်ရှိသမျှ ကို ငါ ၌အပ် ခဲ့ပြီ။ ငါသည် ပေးလို သောသူ အားပေး ရသည်ဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော် အား ပေး ပါမည်။
7If thou therefore wilt adore before me, all shall be thine.
7ငါ့ ကိုကိုးကွယ် လျှင် ဤအလုံးစုံ တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ဥစ္စာဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်ဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
8And Jesus answering said to him: It is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
8ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ အချင်းစာတန်၊ ငါ့နောက်သို့ဆုတ်လော့။ သင် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ကိုးကွယ် ရမည်။ ထိုဘုရားသခင် ကိုသာ ဝတ်ပြု ရမည်ကျမ်းစာ လာသည် ဟု ပြန်ပြော တော်မူ၏။
9And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and he said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself from hence.
9တစ်ဖန် မာရ်နတ်သည် ယေရှု ကို ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ ဆောင်သွား ၍ ၊ ဗိမာန် တော်၏ အထွဋ် ၌ တင် ထားပြီးလျှင်၊
10For it is written, that He hath given his angels charge over thee, that they keep thee.
10ကျမ်းစာလာ သည်ကား၊ သင့် ကို စောင့်ရှောက် စေခြင်းငှာကောင်းကင်တမန် တို့အား သင့် အဘို့ မှာထား တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊
11And that in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone.
11သင် ၏ခြေ ကိုကျောက် နှင့် မ ထိ မခိုက်စေခြင်းငှာ၊ သူတို့သည် သင့် ကိုလက် နှင့်မစ ချီပင့်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု လာ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ သား တော်မှန် လျှင် ဤ အထွဋ်မှ ကိုယ် ကိုအောက် သို့ ချ လိုက်တော်မူပါဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
12And Jesus answering, said to him: It is said: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
12ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ သင် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို သင်သည် အစုံအစမ်း မ ပြုရဟု ကျမ်းစကား ရှိ သည် ဟု ပြန်ပြောတော်မူ ၏။
13And all the temptation being ended, the devil departed from him for a time.
13ထိုသို့ မာရ်နတ် သည် စုံစမ်း သွေးဆောင်ခြင်း အမှုအလုံးစုံ ကို အကုန်အစင်ပြု ပြီးလျှင်၊ အထံ တော်မှ ထွက်သွား ၍ ကာလ အတန်အရာနေလေ၏။
14And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit, into Galilee, and the fame of him went out through the whole country.
14ယေရှု သည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်တန်ခိုး နှင့် ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်သို့ ပြန် ၍ ၊ သိတင်း တော်သည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် အရပ်တို့၌ အနှံ့အပြား ကျော်စော လေ၏။ တရားစရပ် တို့၌ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူ၍ ၊
15And he taught in their synagogues, and was magnified by all.
15လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်း ကြ၏။
16And he came to Nazareth, where he was brought up: and he went into the synagogue, according to his custom, on the sabbath day; and he rose up to read.
16ကြီးပွား တော်မူရာ နာဇရက် မြို့သို့ ရောက် ပြန်လျှင် ၊ ထုံးစံ တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌ တရားစရပ် သို့ ဝင် ၍ ကျမ်းစာကို ဘတ်ရွတ် ခြင်းငှာထ တော်မူ၏။
17And the book of Isaias the prophet was delivered unto him. And as he unfolded the book, he found the place where it was written:
17စရပ်စောင့်သည် ပရောဖက် ဟေရှာယ ၏ ကျမ်းစာ ကိုပေး သည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ကျမ်းစာ ကိုဖွင့် တော်မူလျှင် တွေ့ သောအချက် စကားဟူမူကား၊
18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Wherefore he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the contrite of heart,
18ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် ငါ့ အပေါ် ၌တည်တော်မူ၏။
19To preach deliverance to the captives, and sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of reward.
19အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ဆင်းရဲသား တို့အား ဝမ်းမြောက် စရာသိတင်းကိုကြားပြောစေခြင်းငှာငါ့ ကို ဘိသိတ် ပေး တော်မူပြီ။ ကြေမွသောသူတို့၏ အနာကိုပျောက်စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ ဘမ်း သွားချုပ်ထားလျက်ရှိသော သူတို့အား လွှတ် ခြင်းအကြောင်းနှင့် မျက်စိ ကန်းသောသူတို့အား မျက်စိမြင်ပြန် ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ပြစေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခံရသောသူတို့ကို ကယ်မ စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ မင်္ဂလာ နှစ် ကာလကို ကြားပြော စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူပြီဟုလာသတည်း။
20And when he had folded the book, he restored it to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.
20ကျမ်းစာ ကိုလိပ် ၍ စရပ်စောင့် အားပေး ပြီးမှ ထိုင် တော်မူ၏။ စရပ် ၌ ရှိသောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုစေ့စေ့ ကြည့်လျက်နေ ကြ၏။
21And he began to say to them: This day is fulfilled this scripture in your ears.
21ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ယနေ့ ပင် ဤ ကျမ်းစာ ချက်သည် သင် တို့ကြား သည့်အတိုင်း ပြည့်စုံ လေပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
22And all gave testimony to him: and they wondered at the words of grace that proceeded from his mouth, and they said: Is not this the son of Joseph?
22ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုဝန်ခံ ၍ ၊ တင့်တယ်လျောက်ပတ် သော နှုတ် ထွက် စကား ကို အံ့ဩ ချီးမွမ်းလျက် ၊ ဤသူ သည် ယောသပ် ၏ သား မ ဟုတ် တုံလောဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
23And he said to them: Doubtless you will say to me this similitude: Physician, heal thyself: as great things as we have heard done in Capharnaum, do also here in thy own country.
23ယေရှုကလည်း၊ အကယ်၍သင်တို့သည် ပုံပမာ ဆောင်လျှက်၊ အချင်းဆေးသမား ၊ ကိုယ် အနာကို ငြိမ်း စေလော့။ ငါတို့သည် သိတင်းကြား သည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်သည် ကပေရနောင် မြို့၌ ပြု သမျှ သော အမှုအရာတို့ကို ကိုယ် နေရင်း မြို့၌ လည်း ၊ ပြုပါဟူ၍ငါ့ အား ပြောဆို ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ငါအမှန် ဆို သည်ကား၊
24And he said: Amen I say to you, that no prophet is accepted in his own country.
24အဘယ် ပရောဖက် မျှ မိမိ နေရင်း မြို့၌ မျက်နှာ မရတတ်။
25In truth I say to you, there were many widows in the days of Elias in Israel, when heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there was a great famine throughout all the earth.
25ငါအမှန် ဆို ပြန်သည်ကား ၊ ပရောဖက် ဧလိယ လက်ထက် ၌ သုံး နှစ် နှင့် ခြောက် လ ပတ်လုံး မိုဃ်းခေါင် ၍၊ ပြည် နိုင်ငံတစ်လျှောက်လုံး အစာ အာဟာရအလွန် ခေါင်းပါးခြင်းရှိ သောအခါ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးဖြစ်သော မုဆိုးမ အများ ရှိ ကြ၏။
26And to none of them was Elias sent, but to Sarepta of Sidon, to a widow woman.
26သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ထိုမုဆိုးမတစ်ယောက်ရှိရာ သို့မျှ ဧလိယ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မမူ။ ဇိဒုန် ပြည် ဇရတ္တ မြို့သူ ဖြစ်သော မုဆိုးမ တစ်ယောက်ရှိရာ သို့ စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
27And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet: and none of them was cleansed but Naaman the Syrian.
27ပရောဖက် ဧလိရှဲ လက်ထက် တွင်လည်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ နူနာစွဲ သောသူအများ ရှိ ကြ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ နေမန် အမည်ရှိသောရှုရိ လူမှတစ်ပါး အဘယ်သူ မျှသန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းသို့ မရောက် ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28And all they in the synagogue, hearing these things, were filled with anger.
28တရားစရပ် ၌ ရှိသော လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ထို စကားတော်ကို ကြား သောအခါ ပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက် သည်နှင့်၊
29And they rose up and thrust him out of the city; and they brought him to the brow of the hill, whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
29ထ ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကိုမြို့ ပြင် သို့ နှင်ထုတ် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထို မြို့ တည် ရာတောင် ထိပ် စွန်းအငူမှ စောက်ထိုး တွန်းချခြင်းငှာ ဆောင်သွား ကြ၏။
30But he passing through the midst of them, went his way.
30ကိုယ်တော် သည် သူ တို့အလယ် ၌ လျှောက် ၍ ကြွသွား တော်မူ၏။
31And he went down into Capharnaum, a city of Galilee, and there he taught them on the sabbath days.
31ဂါလိလဲ ပြည် ကပေရနောင် မြို့ သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူ၏။
32And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his speech was with power.
32အာဏာ နှင့် ဟောတော်မူသောကြောင့် ပရိသတ်တို့သည် ဒေသနာ တော်ကိုအလွန်အံ့ဩ ကြ၏။
33And in the synagogue there was a man who had an unclean devil, and he cried out with a loud voice,
33ထိုတရားစရပ် ၌ ညစ်ညူး သော နတ်ဆိုး စွဲ သောသူ တစ်ယောက်ရှိ ၍ ၊
34Saying: Let us alone, what have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.
34ဪ နာဇရက် မြို့သားယေရှု ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့နှင့် အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုင်သနည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး ခြင်းငှာလာ သလော။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အဘယ်သူ ဖြစ် သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်သိ ပါ၏၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ သန့်ရှင်း တော်မူသောသူ ဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟု ကြီး သောအသံ နှင့် ဟစ်ကြော် လေ၏။
35And Jesus rebuked him, saying: Hold thy peace, and go out of him. And when the devil had thrown him into the midst, he went out of him, and hurt him not at all.
35ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာနေလော့။ ထိုသူ ၏အထဲ ကထွက်သွား လော့ ဟု ဆုံးမ တော်မူလျှင် ၊ နတ်ဆိုး သည်ထိုသူ ကို လူအများအလယ် ၌ လှဲချ ၍ ဘေးဥပဒ် မ ပြုဘဲ ထွက်သွား ၏။
36And there came fear upon all, and they talked among themselves, saying: What word is this, for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they go out?
36လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် မိန်းမော တွေဝေ၍ ၊ ဤ စကား သည် အဘယ်သို့ သော စကားနည်း၊ ညစ်ညူး သောနတ် တို့ကို အာဏာ တန်ခိုး နှင့် မှာထား ၍ သူတို့သည် ထွက်သွား ကြသည်တကားဟု အချင်းချင်း ဆွေးနွေး ပြောဆို ကြ၏။
37And the fame of him was published into every place of the country.
37သိတင်း တော်သည်လည်း ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် အရပ် တို့၌ နှံ့ပြား ကျော်စောလေ၏။
38And Jesus rising up out of the synagogue, went into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever, and they besought him for her.
38တရားစရပ် မှ ထွက် ပြီးလျှင် ရှိမုန် အိမ် သို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏ ။ ရှိမုန် ၏ယောက္ခမ သည် ပြင်းစွာ သော ဖျားနာ စွဲ သည်ဖြစ်၍ သူ့ အတွက် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုတောင်းလျှောက် ကြ၏။
39And standing over her, he commanded the fever, and it left her. And immediately rising, she ministered to them.
39ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုမိန်းမ ၏အနား မှာရပ် ၍ ဖျားနာ ကိုဆုံးမ တော်မူလျှင် ၊ သူ သည် အဖျားပျောက် သဖြင့် ချက်ခြင်း ထ ၍ ဧည့်သည် ဝတ်ကိုပြုလေ၏။
40And when the sun was down, all they that had any sick with divers diseases, brought them to him. But he laying his hands on every one of them, healed them.
40နေ ဝင် သောအခါ အမျိုးမျိုး သော အနာ ရောဂါစွဲ သောသူ တို့၏ အဆွေခင်ပွန်းအပေါင်း တို့သည် ထို လူနာ တို့ကို အထံ တော်သို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ထိုလူနာ အသီးသီး တို့ အပေါ်၌လက် တော်ကို တင် သဖြင့် အနာရောဂါကို ငြိမ်း စေတော်မူ၏။
41And devils went out from many, crying out and saying: Thou art the Son of God. And rebuking them he suffered them not to speak, for they knew that he was Christ.
41နတ်ဆိုး တို့လည်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ခရစ်တော်တည်းဟူသောဘုရားသခင် ၏သား တော်ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏ဟု ဟစ်ကြော် လျက် လူများ မှ ထွက်သွား ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ခရစ်တော် ဖြစ် ကြောင်းကို သူတို့သိ ကြသောကြောင့် စကားတစ်ခွန်းကိုမျှ မပြော စေခြင်းငှာမြစ်တား တော်မူ၏။
42And when it was day, going out he went into a desert place, and the multitudes sought him, and came unto him: and they stayed him that he should not depart from them.
42မိုဃ်းလင်း သောအခါ တော အရပ် သို့ ထွက် ကြွ တော်မူ၍ ၊ လူ အများတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုရှာ ကြ၏၊ အထံ တော်သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊ မိမိ တို့နေရာမှ ထွက်ကြွ တော် မ မူမည်အကြောင်း ဆီးတား ကြ၏။
43To whom he said: To other cities also I must preach the kingdom of God: for therefore am I sent.
43ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်နှင့်ယှဉ်သော ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို အခြား သောမြို့ ရွာတို့ ၌ ငါ ဟောပြောရ မည်။
44And he was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
44ထိုသို့ အလို့ငှာ ငါ့ကိုစေလွတ် လျက်ရှိသည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ဂါလိလဲပြည်မှာ တရားစရပ် တို့၌ တရား ဟောပြော လျက်နေ တော်မူ၏။
