Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
1After these things was a festival day of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
1Ngadani ditji pirna nganana wonti Juda kanani, ja Jesus tarana wonti Jerusalemia.
2Now there is at Jerusalem a pond, called Probatica, which in Hebrew is named Bethsaida, having five porches.
2Jerusalemingu tjipi manani panto kulno nganana wonti, nulu Juda kana talini Bethesda tala ngamalkana wonti, nunkangu punga mara wora nganana wonti.
3In these lay a great multitude of sick, of blind, of lame, of withered; waiting for the moving of the water.
3Tanangupini mandrani parana wonti muntja marapu, butju, tjunduru, jiranga, tanali kalkana wonti ngapa patijiritjinanto.
4And an angel of the Lord descended at certain times into the pond; and the water was moved. And he that went down first into the pond after the motion of the water, was made whole, of whatsoever infirmity he lay under.
4Ngangau angela kulno pota palpa pantuni ngarina wonti, ja nulu ngapa patijiritjibana wonti. Worana ngopera pantuni wirinani ngapa matja patijiritjinani, nau tepi pantjina wonti, mina muntja nulu ngamalkana wonti.
5And there was a certain man there, that had been eight and thirty years under his infirmity.
5Kana kulno naka nganana wonti, nau kilpawoldra 38 muntja parana wonti.
6Him when Jesus had seen lying, and knew that he had been now a long time, he saith to him: Wilt thou be made whole?
6Ninapini Jesujeli paranani najina wonti, ja Nulu ngarana wonti, nau ditji marapu jeruja nganana, Nau nunkangu jatana wonti: „Jundru ngantjai tepi pantjila?“
7The infirm man answered him: Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pond. For whilst I am coming, another goeth down before me.
7Muntjali nunkangu kalabana wonti: „Kaparajai, ngato kana pani ngamalkai, nulu ngana pantuni worananto, ngapa matja patijiritjibana; ja ngani wokaranani kulno nguru ngakangu ngopera wiriai.“
8Jesus saith to him: Arise, take up thy bed, and walk.
8Jesus nunkangu jatana wonti: „Jiritjiau, turarani piri jinkani maniau ja wirariau!“
9And immediately the man was made whole: and he took up his bed, and walked. And it was the sabbath that day.
9Ja nurujeli naupini kana tepirina wonti, ja nulu turarani piri nunkani manina wonti ja wirarina wonti. Ja naupini ditji Sabbat nganana wonti.
10The Jews therefore said to him that was healed: It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for thee to take up thy bed.
10Juda kana nunkangu muntjalani jatana wonti: „Karari Sabbat nganai; ja jenia jinkangu wata manuni kurala wapaia turarani piri jinkani waltananto.“
11He answered them: He that made me whole, he said to me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
11Nulu tanangu kalabana wonti: „Naupini, Nulu ngana tepi ngankana warai, ngakangu jatana warai: Turarani piri jinkani maniau ja wirariau!“
12They asked him therefore: Who is that man who said to thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
12Tanali nina jakalkana wonti: „Worana Naupini kana, Nau jinkangu jatana warai: Turarani piri jinkani maniau ja wirariau!“
13But he who was healed, knew not who it was; for Jesus went aside from the multitude standing in the place.
13Naupini muntjala ko nganana wonti, worana Nau nganai, ngangau Jesus kutingana wonti, ngangau kana wolara nunkangupini pirini nganana wonti.
14Afterwards, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and saith to him: Behold thou art made whole: sin no more, lest some worse thing happen to thee.
14Ngadani Jesujeli nina Godaia pungani mankamankana wonti ja nunkangu jatana wonti: „Mai, jidni tepirina warai; wata morla madlentji ngankau, jinkangu morla madlentji wokaraiati.“
15The man went his way, and told the Jews, that it was Jesus who had made him whole.
15Naupini kana wapana wonti ja Juda kanani kaukaubana wonti: „Nau Jesus nganai, Nulu ngana tepi ngankana warai.“
16Therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, because he did these things on the sabbath.
16Ja Juda kana jendrangundruja Jesungu tirikaripaterina wonti ja wontjana wonti nina naria nandrala, ngangau Nulu jenia ngankana wonti Sabbatani.
17But Jesus answered them: My Father worketh until now; and I work.
17Jesujeli kalabana wonti ja tanangu jatana wonti: „Ngaperali ngakanali ngankai kararielu, ja ngato bakana ngankai.“
18Hereupon therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he did not only break the sabbath, but also said God was his Father, making himself equal to God.
18Jendrangundruja Juda kanali morla wontjana wonti nina naria nandrala, ngangau Nulu wata windri Sabbat wokaribana wonti, a‐ai, Nulu bakana Goda Ngaperi nunkani dikana wonti, ja jeruja munta Goda jeribaka ngankaterina wonti.
19Then Jesus answered, and said to them: Amen, amen, I say unto you, the Son cannot do any thing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doth, these the Son also doth in like manner.
19Jesujeli kalabana wonti ja tanangu jatana wonti: „Morlalu, morlalu, ngani jurangu jatai: Ngatamura munta ngandandariai ngankala, Nulu wata ngopera najinani Ngaperali ngankanani; ngangau mina Nulupini ngankai, jenia bakana Ngatamurajeli ngankai.
20For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things which himself doth: and greater works than these will he shew him, that you may wonder.
20Ngangau Ngaperali Ngatamura ngantjai, ja Nulia pratjana nunkangu wondrai, mina Nulia muntali ngankai; ja ngankana morla pirna tanangu Nulia nunkangu wondrala nganai, jura ngaruparananto.
21For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and giveth life: so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.
21Ngangau worderu Ngaperali narila jiritjibai ja tepi ngankai; jeruja bakana Ngatamurajeli tepi ngankai tanangu Nauja jertapateriai.
22For neither doth the Father judge any man, but hath given all judgment to the Son.
22Ngangau Ngaperali wata kulnuni kalala kurani, a‐ai, kalala kurani pratjana Nulia Ngatamurani jinkina wonti,
23That all men may honour the Son, as they honour the Father. He who honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father, who hath sent him.
23Ngangau pratjanali Ngatamura pirna ngundrananto, worderu tanali Ngaperi pirna ngundrai. Warlenulu Ngatamurani wata pirna ngundrai, nulu Npaperi wata pirna ngundrai, Nulia ninaia jinpanala.
24Amen, amen I say unto you, that he who heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath life everlasting; and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life.
24Morlalu, morlalu, ngani jurangu jatai: Warlenulu jaura ngakani ngarai, ja nunkangu morlalu ngundrai, Nulia ngana jinpanala, nulu tepi ngurali ngamalkai; ja kalalani nau wata wokarai, a‐ai, nau narindru tepia wiringana wonti.
25Amen, amen I say unto you, that the hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.
25Morlalu, morlalu, ngani jurangu jatai: Ditji kulno wokarala nganai, ja matja karari nganai, narieli Godaia Ngatamuraia ngaiala ngarala nganai, ja tanali ngarai, tana tepirila nganai.
26For as the Father hath life in himself, so he hath given the Son also to have life in himself:
26Ngangau worderu Ngaperali muntali nunkangu tepi ngamalkai, jeruja bakana Nulia Ngatamurani jinkina wonti, tepi muntali nunkangu ngamalkala.
27And he hath given him power to do judgment, because he is the Son of man.
27Ja Nulia nunkangu ngurula jinkina wonti kalala kurananto; ngangau Nauja Kanaia Ngatamura nganai.
28Wonder not at this; for the hour cometh, wherein all that are in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son of God.
28Wata ngaruparanau nunkangupini; ngangau ditji kulno wokarai, nunkangupini pratjanali, tana nari kutuni parai ngaiala nunkani ngarala nganai,
29And they that have done good things, shall come forth unto the resurrection of life; but they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.
29Ja dunkala nganai, tanali ngumu ngankanala tepia terkakala nganai, ja tanali madlentji ngankanala terkakala nganai kalalaia.
30I cannot of myself do any thing. As I hear, so I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
30Ngani ngandandariai muntali ngakangundru ngankala; a‐ai, worderu ngato ngarai, jeruka ngato kalala kurai; ja kalala kurani ngakani talku nganai, ngangau ngato wata ngakani jertapaterinali wontiai, a‐ai, windri nunkani jertapaterinali, Nulia ngana jinpanala.
31If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
31Ngato ngakangundru muntali jaura ngamalkanani, jaura ngakani wata morlalu ngananani;
32There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.
32Kulno nguru ngakangundru jaura jatai, ja ngani milkila, jaura nunkani morlalu nganai, ninaia Nulia ngakangundru jatai.
33You sent to John, and he gave testimony to the truth.
33Jura Johanningu jinpana paraia, ja nulu jaura jatana paraia morlaluja.
34But I receive not testimony from man: but I say these things, that you may be saved.
34Ngato wata kanandru jaura morlalu maniai, a‐ai, jenia ngani jatai, jura kulkani ngamalkananto.
35He was a burning and a shining light: and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.
35Nau jerkini ja mintjini praitji nganana wonti; ja jura ngantjana paraia ditji ngalje murlali nganala praitjani nunkanani.
36But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect; the works themselves, which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me.
36Ngato jaura morlalu morla pirna ngamalkai Johanningu; ngangau tananapini ngankana, tanana Ngaperali ngakangu jinkinala, ngato tanana mudananto, tananapini ngankana tanana ngato ngankai, ngakangundru morlalu jatai, Ngaperali ngana jinpanala.
37And the Father himself who hath sent me, hath given testimony of me: neither have you heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
37Ja Ngaperali, Nulia ngana jinpanala, munta ngakangundru jaura morlalu jatana wonti. Jura wata ngaiala nunkani ngarana wonti, ja wata mudla nunkani najina wonti;
38And you have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him you believe not.
38Ja jaura nunkani wata jurangu parala wapaia, ngangau ninaia, ninaia Nulia jinpanala, nunkangu jura wata morlalu ngundrai.
39Search the scriptures, for you think in them to have life everlasting; and the same are they that give testimony of me.
39Jura wontiai Godaia jaurani, ngangau jura ngundrai nunkangu tepi ngurali ngamalkala, ja tanapini nganai, tanana ngakangundru kaukaubai.
40And you will not come to me that you may have life.
40Ja jura wata ngantjai ngakangu wokarala tepi ngamalkala.
41I receive glory not from men.
41Kanandru wata ngato pirnala maniai.
42But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you.
42Ngato jurana ngujamai, jura wata Godaia ngantjana jurangu ngamalkai.
43I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.
43Ngani wokarana wonti Ngaperaia ngakanaia talani, ja jura ngana wata patai; kulno nguru wokaranani jurangu talani nunkanani, nina jura patala nganai.
44How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?
44Worderu jura morlalu ngundrananto jura pirnala manijiribamaliai; ja kulnuja Godaia pirnala jura wata wontiai?
45Think not that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one that accuseth you, Moses, in whom you trust.
45Wata ngundranau ngani jurangundru ngulkuterkala nganai Ngaperani, a‐ai, Moses jurani ngulkuterkanietja nganai, nunkangu jura kalkani jurani kurana warai.
46For if you did believe Moses, you would perhaps believe me also; for he wrote of me.
46Ngangau jura Mosingu morlalu ngundranani, jura ngakangu morlalu ngundranani, ngangau nulu ngakangundru dakana wonti.
47But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?
47Jura jaurani nunkanani wata morlalu ngundranani, worderu jura jaurani ngakanani morlalu ngundrananto?“
