5Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem, Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6And when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded in mind, because that every man heard them speak in his own tongue.

7And they were all amazed, and wondered, saying: Behold, are not all these, that speak, Galileans?

8And how have we heard, every man our own tongue wherein we were born?

13But others mocking, said: These men are full of new wine.

14But Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke to them: Ye men of Judea, and all you that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known to you, and with your ears receive my words.
14Toe Piter loe kami hatlaito hoi nawnto angdoet moe, nihcae khaeah, Judah kami hoi Jerusalem ah kaom kaminawk, hae hae panoek oh, ka thuih ih loknawk hae tahngai oh, tiah tha hoi lok a thuih:

16But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel:
16Hae loe tahmaa Joel mah,
17And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

18to na niah loe ka tamna nongpa hoi nongpatanawk nuiah Ka Muithla to ka kraih han; nihcae mah lok to taphong o tih:
19And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.

22Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know:
22Israel kaminawk, hae loknawk hae tahngai oh; Sithaw mah Nazareth Jesu nangcae khaeah patoeh pongah, Anih rang hoiah Sithaw mah dawnrai hmuen, anghmang thok hmuen hoi angmathaih hmuennawk to ang sak pae o boeh, tito na panoek o:
23This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.
23Sithaw mah panoek coek moe, khokhan tangcae baktih toengah, Anih to na naeh o moe, kami zae ban hoiah thinglam pongah takhing pacoeng ah, na hum o:
24Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it.
24toe Anih loe Sithaw mah duekhaih thung hoiah loihsak moe, hing hanah pathawk let boeh: duekhaih mah Anih to patawn caeng thai ai.
25For David saith concerning him: I foresaw the Lord before my face: because he is at my right hand, that I may not be moved.
25David mah Anih kawng to, Ka hmaa ah Angraeng to ka hnuk toepsoep, ka bantang bangah anih to oh pongah, ka tasoeh mak ai:

29Ye men, brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David; that he died, and was buried; and his sepulchre is with us to this present day.
29Nawkamyanawk, aicae ampa David loe duek moe, aphum o boeh, tito kamnoek ah thuih han ka koeh, anih ih taprong loe vaihni ni khoek to aicae khaeah oh.
30Whereas therefore he was a prophet, and knew that God hath sworn to him with an oath, that of the fruit of his loins one should sit upon his throne.
30Toe David loe tahmaa ah oh pongah, taksa ah oh baktih toengah, anih ih angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnutsak hanah, angmah ih acaeng thung hoiah, Anih mah Kri to pathawk tih, tiah Sithaw mah David khaeah lokkamhaih sak boeh, tito anih mah panoek.
31Foreseeing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ. For neither was he left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption.
31David mah hae tiah kaom han koi hmuen to panoek coek boeh pongah, a hinghaih Pakhra loe hell thungah caehtaak mak ai, a takpum doeh qong mak ai, tiah Kri angthawk lethaih kawng to a thuih.
32This Jesus hath God raised again, whereof all we are witnesses.
32Aicae loe Sithaw mah Jesu pathawk let boeh, tiah hnukung ah oh o.
33Being exalted therefore by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath poured forth this which you see and hear.
33Anih loe pakoehhaih hoiah Sithaw bantang bangah oh moe, Ampa mah lokkamhaih Kacai Muithla to hnuk boeh pongah, anih mah paek ih hae hmuen hae vaihi na hnuk o moe, na thaih o boeh.
34For David ascended not into heaven; but he himself said: The Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand,
34David loe van ah daw tahang ai: toe anih mah, Angraeng mah kai ih Angraeng khaeah, na misanawk to na khokkoenghaih ahmuen ah ka sah ai karoek to, ka bantang bangah anghnu ah, tiah a naa, tiah thuih.
35Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.

36Therefore let all the house of Israel know most certainly, that God hath made both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus, whom you have crucified.
36To pongah Israel imthung takoh boih mah hae hae kahoihah panoek o nasoe, thinglam pongah na takhing o ih, Jesu loe Sithaw mah Angraeng hoi Kri ah ohsak boeh, tiah a naa.
37Now when they had heard these things, they had compunction in their heart, and said to Peter, and to the rest of the apostles: What shall we do, men and brethren?

40And with very many other words did he testify and exhort them, saying: Save yourselves from this perverse generation.
40Hae lam amkhraeng kaminawk thung hoiah nangmacae hoi nangmacae amhlong oh, tiah anih mah kalah paroeai thapaekhaih loknawk to thuih pae.
41They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.

44And all they that believed, were together, and had all things common.

45Their possessions and goods they sold, and divided them to all, according as every one had need.
45a tawnh o ih hmuennawk to zawh o moe, angtoenghaih baktiah kaminawk boih hanah pazet o.
46And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;

47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.
47Sithaw to pakoeh o moe, kaminawk boih koehhaih baktih toengah khosak o. Sithaw mah nithokkruek kricabu thungah pahlonghaih hnu kaminawk to pungsak.
