1Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also.
1ועל דבר קבוץ התרומות לעזרת הקדושים כאשר תקנתי לקהלות אשר בגלטיא כן תעשו גם אתם׃
2On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made.
2בכל אחד בשבת יניח אצלו איש איש מכם ויאצר את אשר עלה בידו למען אשר בבאי לא יקבץ עוד׃
3And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem.
3ואני בבאי את אשר תמצאו נאמנים עם אגרות אשלח אתם להביא את נדבתכם לירושלים׃
4And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me.
4ואם שוה הטרח שגם אנכי אלך שמה אתי ילכו׃
5Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia.
5ואני אבא אליכם אחרי עברי את מקדוניא כי את מקדוניא אעברה׃
6And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go.
6ואולי אשב עמכם ימים אחדים או כל ימי הסתו למען תלוני אל אשר אלך שמה׃
7For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit.
7כי כעת אין רצוני לראתכם אך בעברי כי אקוה לשבת אצלכם זמן מה אם ירצה יהוה׃
8But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
8אבל אשב באפסוס עד חג השבועות׃
9For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries.
9כי נפתח לי פתח גדול ורב פעלים ורבים המתקוממים׃
10Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
10וכי יבוא אליכם טימותיוס ראו נא שיהיה עמכם בלי פחד כי מלאכת יהוה הוא עשה כמו גם אני׃
11Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the brethren.
11על כן איש אל יבז אתו אך שלחהו בשלום למען יבא אלי כי אחכה לו עם האחים׃
12And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the brethren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure.
12ואפולוס האח הנה פצרתי בו לבוא אליכם עם האחים אך לא היה ברצונו לבוא עתה אמנם בוא יבוא במצאו עת נכונה׃
13Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened.
13שקדו ועמדו באמונה התאששו והתחזקו׃
14Let all your things be done in charity.
14וכל דבריכם יעשו באהבה׃
15And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints:
15ואבקשה מכם אחי הלא ידעתם את בית אסטפנוס שהוא ראשית אכיא ויתנו את נפשם לשרות הקדשים׃
16That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth.
16לכן הכנעו גם אתם מפני אנשים כאלה ומפני כל אשר יעבד עמהם ויעמלו׃
17And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied.
17והנני שמח בביאת אסטפנוס ופרטונטוס ואכיקוס כי המה מלאו את אשר חסרתי אתכם׃
18For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such.
18ויניחו את רוחי ואת רוחכם על כן הכירו אנשים כאלה׃
19The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge.
19הקהלות אשר באסיא שאלות לשלומכם עקילס ופריסקלא וגם הקהלה אשר בביתם מרבים לשאל לשלומכם באדנינו׃
20All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.
20האחים כלם שאלים לשלומכם שאלו לשלום איש את רעהו בנשקה הקדושה׃
21The salutation of me Paul, with my own hand.
21שאלת שלומכם בידי אני פולוס׃
22If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.
22מי שלא יאהב את האדון ישוע המשיח יחרם מרן אתא׃
23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
23חסד ישוע המשיח אדנינו יהי עמכם׃
24My charity be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
24ואהבתי את כלכם במשיח ישוע אמן׃
