1Dies sind die Kinder Israels: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isaschar, Sebulon,
1And these are the sons of Israel: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, and Zabulon,
2Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphthali, Gad, Asser.

3Die Kinder Juda's sind: Ger, Onan, Sela. Die drei wurden ihm geboren von der Kanaanitin, der Tochter Suas. Ger aber, der erste Sohn Juda's, war böse vor dem HERRN; darum tötete er ihn.

4Thamar aber, seine Schwiegertochter, gebar ihm Perez und Serah, daß aller Kinder Juda's waren fünf.

7Die Kinder Charmis sind Achan, welcher Israel betrübte, da er sich am Verbannten vergriff.

10Ram aber zeugte Amminadab. Amminadab zeugte Nahesson, den Fürsten der Kinder Juda.

13Isai zeugte seinen ersten Sohn Eliab; Abinadab, den zweiten; Simea, den dritten;

14Nathanel, den vierten; Raddai, den fünften;

19Da aber Asuba starb, nahm Kaleb Ephrath; die gebar ihm Hur.
19And when Azuba was dead, Caleb took to wife Ephrata: who bore him Hur.
20Hur zeugte Uri. Uri zeugte Bezaleel.
20And Hur beget Uri: and Uri beget Bezeleel.
21Darnach kam Hezron zu der Tochter Machirs, des Vaters Gileads, und er nahm sie, da er sechzig Jahre alt war; und sie gebar ihm Segub.
21And afterwards Hesron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and took her to wife when he was threescore years old: and she bore him Segub.
22Segub aber zeugte Jair; der hatte dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead.
22And Segub beget Jair, and he had three and twenty cities in the land of Galaad.
23Aber die Gessuriter und Syrer nahmen ihnen die Flecken Jairs, dazu Kenath mit seinen Ortschaften, sechzig Städte. Diese alle sind Kinder Machirs, des Vaters Gileads.
23And he took Gessur, and Aram the towns of Jair, and Canath, and the villages thereof, threescore cities. All these, the sons of Machir father of Galaad.
24Nach dem Tode Hezrons in Kaleb Ephratha gebar Hezrons Weib Abia ihm Ashur, den Vater Thekoas.
24And when Hesron was dead, Caleb went in to Ephrata. Hesron also had to wife Abia who bore him Ashur the father of Thecua.
25Jerahmeel, der erste Sohn Hezrons, hatte Kinder: den ersten, Ram, Buna, Oren und Ozem und Ahia.
25And the sons of Jerameel the firstborn of Hesron, were Ram his firstborn, and Buna, and Aram, and Asom, and Achia.
26Und Jerahmeel hatte noch ein anderes Weib, die hieß Atara; die ist die Mutter Onams.

27Die Kinder aber Rams, des ersten Sohnes Jerahmeels, sind: Maaz, Jamin und Eker.

28Aber Onam hatte Kinder: Sammai und Jada. Die Kinder aber Sammais sind: Nadab und Abisur.
28And Onam had sons Semei, and Jada. And the sons of Semei: Nadab, and Abisur.
29Das Weib aber Abisurs hieß Abihail, die gebar Achban und Molid.
29And the name of Abisur’s wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahobban, and Molid.
30Die Kinder aber Nadabs sind: Seled und Appaim; und Seled starb ohne Kinder.
30And the sons of Nadab were Saled, and Apphaim. And Saled died without children.
31Die Kinder Appaims sind: Jesai. Die Kinder Jesais sind: Sesan. Die Kinder Sesans sind: Ahelai.
31But the son of Apphaim was Jesi: and Jesi beget Sesan. And Sesan beget Oholai.
32Die Kinder aber Jadas, des Bruders Sammais, sind: Jether und Jonathan; Jether aber starb ohne Kinder.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Semei: Jether and Jonathan. And Jether also died without children.
33Die Kinder aber Jonathans sind: Peleth und Sasa. Das sind die Kinder Jerahmeels.
33But Jonathan beget Phaleth, and Ziza, These were the sons of Jerameel.
34Sesan aber hatte nicht Söhne, sondern Töchter. Und Sesan hatte einen ägyptischen Knecht, der hieß Jarha.

40Eleasa zeugte Sisemai. Sisemai zeugte Sallum.
40Elasa beget Sisamoi, Sisamoi beget Sellum,
41Sallum zeugte Jekamja. Jekamja zeugte Elisama.
41Sellum beget Icamia, and Icamia begot Elisama.
42Die Kinder Kalebs, des Bruder Jerahmeels, sind: Mesa, sein erster Sohn, der ist der Vater Siphs, und die Kinder Maresas, des Vaters Hebrons.
42Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerameel were Mesa his firstborn, who was the father of Siph: and the sons of Maresa father of Hebron.
43Die Kinder aber Hebrons sind: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem und Sama.

45Der Sohn aber Sammais hieß Maon, und Maon war der Vater Beth-Zurs.

46Epha aber, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Haran, Moza und Gases. Haran aber zeugte Gases.

47Die Kinder aber Jahdais sind: Regem, Jotham, Gesan, Pelet, Epha und Saaph.
47And the sons of Jahaddai, Rogom, and Joathan, and Gesan, and Phalet, and Epha, and Saaph.
48Aber Maacha, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Seber und Thirhena
48And Maacha the concubine of Caleb bore Saber, and Tharana.
49und gebar auch Saaph, den Vater Madmannas, und Sewa, den Vater Machbenas und den Vater Gibeas. Aber Achsa war Kalebs Tochter.
49And Saaph the father of Madmena beget Sue the father of Machbena, and the father of Gabaa. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.
50Dies waren die Kinder Kalebs: die Söhne Hurs, des ersten Sohn's von der Ephratha: Sobal, der Vater Kirjath-Jearims;

53Die Freundschaften aber zu Kirjath-Jearim waren die Jethriter, Puthiter, Sumathiter und Misraiter. Von diesen sind ausgegangen die Zorathiter und Esthaoliter.

54Die Kinder Salmas sind Bethlehem und die Netophathiter, Atharoth des Hauses Joabs und die Hälfte der Manahthiter, das sind die Zoraiter.
54The sons of Salma, Bethlehem, and Netophathi, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the place of rest of Sarai.
55Und die Freundschaften der Schreiber, die zu Jabez wohnten, sind die Thireathiter, Simeathiter, Suchathiter. Das sind die Kiniter, die da gekommen sind von Hammath, dem Vater des Hauses Rechabs.
55And the families of the scribes that dwell in Jabes, singing and making melody, and abiding in tents. These are the Cinites, who came of Calor (Chamath) father of the house of Rechab,
