1那與我說話的天使又來叫醒我，好像人睡覺被喚醒一樣。
1And the angel that spoke in me came again: and he waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
2他問我說：「你看見了甚麼？」我說：「我看見了一個純金的燈臺，頂上有燈盞，燈臺上有七盞燈，每盞有七個管子。
2And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, and its lamp upon the top of it: and the seven lights thereof upon it: and seven funnels for the lights that were upon the top thereof.
3旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在燈盞的右邊，一棵在燈盞的左邊。」
3And two olive trees over it: one upon the right side of the lamp, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4我問與我說話的天使說：「主啊，這是甚麼意思？」
4And I answered, and said to the angel that spoke in me, saying: What are these things, my lord?
5與我說話的天使回答我說：「你不知道這是甚麼意思嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」
5And the angel that spoke in me answered, and said to me: Knowest thou not what these things are? And I said: No, my lord.
6他對我說：「這是耶和華指示 所羅巴伯 的。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈 方能成事 。
6And he answered, and spoke to me, saying: This is the word of the Lord to Zorobabel, saying: Not with an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7大山哪，你算甚麼呢？在 所羅巴伯 面前，你必成為平地。他必搬出一塊石頭，安在 殿 頂上。人且大聲歡呼說：『願恩惠恩惠歸與這殿！』」
7Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zorobabel? thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring out the chief stone, and shall give equal grace to the grace thereof.
8耶和華的話又臨到我說：
8And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
9「 所羅巴伯 的手立了這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這工，你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裏來了。
9The hands of Zorobabel have laid the foundations of this house, and his hands shall finish it: and you shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me to you.
10誰藐視這日的事為小呢？這七 眼 乃是耶和華的眼睛，遍察全地，見 所羅巴伯 手拿線鉈就歡喜。」
10For who hath despised little days? and they shall rejoice, and shall see the tin plummet in the hand of Zorobabel. These are the seven eyes of the Lord, that run to and fro through the whole earth.
11我又問天使說：「這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？」
11And I answered, and said to him: What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick, and upon the left side thereof?
12我二次問他說：「這兩根橄欖枝在兩個流出金色 油 的金嘴旁邊是甚麼意思？」
12And I answered again, and said to him: What are the two olive branches, that are by the two golden beaks, in which are the funnels of gold?
13他對我說：「你不知道這是甚麼意思嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」
13And he spoke to me, saying: Knowest thou not what these are? And I said: No, my lord.
14他說：「這是兩個受膏者站在普天下主的旁邊。」
14And he said: These are two sons of oil who stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
