1這些事以後，耶穌在 提比哩亞海 邊又向門徒顯現。他怎樣顯現記在下面：
1After this, Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he shewed himself after this manner.
2有 西門‧彼得 和稱為 低土馬 的 多馬 ，並 加利利 的 迦拿 人 拿但業 ，還有 西庇太 的兩個兒子，又有兩個門徒，都在一處。
2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas, who is called Didymus, and Nathanael, who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.
3西門‧彼得 對他們說：「我打魚去。」他們說：「我們也和你同去。」他們就出去，上了船；那一夜並沒有打着甚麼。
3Simon Peter saith to them: I go a fishing. They say to him: We also come with thee. And they went forth, and entered into the ship: and that night they caught nothing.
4天將亮的時候，耶穌站在岸上，門徒卻不知道是耶穌。
4But when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5耶穌就對他們說：「小子！你們有吃的沒有？」他們回答說：「沒有。」
5Jesus therefore said to them: Children, have you any meat? They answered him: No.
6耶穌說：「你們把網撒在船的右邊，就必得着。」他們便撒下網去，竟拉不上來了，因為魚甚多。
6He saith to them: Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find. They cast therefore; and now they were not able to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.
7耶穌所愛的那門徒對 彼得 說：「是主！」那時 西門‧彼得 赤着身子，一聽見是主，就束上一件外衣，跳在海裏。
7That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved, said to Peter: It is the Lord. Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, girt his coat about him, (for he was naked,) and cast himself into the sea.
8其餘的門徒離岸不遠，約有二百肘，就在小船上把那網魚拉過來。
8But the other disciples came in the ship, (for they were not far from the land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
9他們上了岸，就看見那裏有炭火，上面有魚，又有餅。
9As soon then as they came to land, they saw hot coals lying, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.
10耶穌對他們說：「把剛才打的魚拿幾條來。」
10Jesus saith to them: Bring hither of the fishes which you have now caught.
11西門‧彼得 就去，把網拉到岸上。那網滿了大魚，共一百五十三條；魚雖這樣多，網卻沒有破。
11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, one hundred and fifty-three. And although there were so many, the net was not broken.
12耶穌說：「你們來吃早飯。」門徒中沒有一個敢問他：「你是誰？」因為知道是主。
12Jesus saith to them: Come, and dine. And none of them who were at meat, durst ask him: Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13耶穌就來拿餅和魚給他們。
13And Jesus cometh and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish in like manner.
14耶穌從死裏復活以後，向門徒顯現，這是第三次。
14This is now the third time that Jesus was manifested to his disciples, after he was risen from the dead.
15他們吃完了早飯，耶穌對 西門‧彼得 說：「 約翰 的兒子 西門 ，你愛我比這些更深嗎？」 彼得 說：「主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌對他說：「你餵養我的小羊。」
15When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs.
16耶穌第二次又對他說：「 約翰 的兒子 西門 ，你愛我嗎？」 彼得 說：「主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌說：「你牧養我的羊。」
16He saith to him again: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs.
17第三次對他說：「 約翰 的兒子 西門 ，你愛我嗎？」 彼得 因為耶穌第三次對他說「你愛我嗎」，就憂愁，對耶穌說：「主啊，你是無所不知的；你知道我愛你。」耶穌說：「你餵養我的羊。
17He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.
18我實實在在地告訴你，你年少的時候，自己束上 帶子 ，隨意往來；但年老的時候，你要伸出手來，別人要把你束上，帶你到不願意去的地方。」
18Amen, amen I say to thee, when thou wast younger, thou didst gird thyself, and didst walk where thou wouldst. But when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and lead thee whither thou wouldst not.
19（耶穌說這話是指着 彼得 要怎樣死，榮耀上帝。）說了這話，就對他說：「你跟從我吧！」
19And this he said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had said this, he saith to him: Follow me.
20彼得 轉過來，看見耶穌所愛的那門徒跟着，（就是在晚飯的時候，靠着耶穌胸膛說：「主啊，賣你的是誰？」的那門徒。）
20Peter turning about, saw that disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned on his breast at supper, and said: Lord, who is he that shall betray thee?
21彼得 看見他，就問耶穌說：「主啊，這人將來如何？」
21Him therefore when Peter had seen, he saith to Jesus: Lord, and what shall this man do?
22耶穌對他說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？你跟從我吧！」
22Jesus saith to him: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.
23於是這話傳在弟兄中間，說那門徒不死。其實，耶穌不是說他不死，乃是說：「我若要他等到我來的時候，與你何干？」
23This saying therefore went abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. And Jesus did not say to him: He should not die; but, So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee?
24為這些事作見證，並且記載這些事的就是這門徒；我們也知道他的見證是真的。
24This is that disciple who giveth testimony of these things, and hath written these things; and we know that his testimony is true.
25耶穌所行的事還有許多，若是一一地都寫出來，我想，所寫的書就是世界也容不下了。
25But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.
