1祸哉！ 以法莲 的酒徒， 住在肥美谷的山上， 他们心里高傲， 以所夸的为冠冕， 犹如 将残之花。
1Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of them that are smitten down with wine!
2看哪，主有一大能大力者， 像一阵冰雹， 像毁灭的暴风， 像涨溢的大水， 他必用手将 冠冕 摔落于地。
2Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction, as a storm of mighty waters overflowing, that casteth down to the earth with violence.
3以法莲 高傲的酒徒， 他的冠冕必被踏在脚下。
3The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden under foot;
4那荣美将残之花， 就是在肥美谷山上的， 必像夏令以前初熟的无花果； 看见这果的就注意， 一到手中就吞吃了。
4And the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be as the first-ripe fig before the summer, which when one looketh upon it, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
5到那日，万军之耶和华 必作他余剩之民的荣冠华冕，
5In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of His people;
6也作了在位上行审判者公平之灵， 并城门口打退仇敌者的力量。
6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn back the battle at the gate.
7就是这 地的 人也因酒摇摇晃晃， 因浓酒东倒西歪。 祭司和先知因浓酒摇摇晃晃， 被酒所困， 因浓酒东倒西歪。 他们错解默示， 谬行审判。
7But these also reel through wine, and stagger through strong drink; the priest and the prophet reel through strong drink, they are confused because of wine, they stagger because of strong drink; they reel in vision, they totter in judgment.
8因为各席上满了呕吐的污秽， 无一处 干净 。
8For all tables are full of filthy vomit, and no place is clean.
9讥诮先知的说 ： 他要将知识指教谁呢？ 要使谁明白传言呢？ 是那刚断奶离怀的吗？
9Whom shall one teach knowledge? And whom shall one make to understand the message? Them that are weaned from the milk, them that are drawn from the breasts?
10他竟命上加命，令上加令， 律上加律，例上加例， 这里一点，那里一点。
10For it is precept by precept, precept by precept, line by line, line by line; here a little, there a little.
11先知说 ：不然，主要借异邦人的嘴唇 和外邦人的舌头对这百姓说话。
11For with stammering lips and with a strange tongue shall it be spoken to this people;
12他曾对他们说： 你们要使疲乏人得安息， 这样才得安息，才得舒畅， 他们却不肯听。
12To whom it was said: 'This is the rest, give ye rest to the weary; and this is the refreshing'; yet they would not hear.
13所以，耶和华向他们说的话是 命上加命，令上加令， 律上加律，例上加例， 这里一点，那里一点， 以致他们前行仰面跌倒， 而且跌碎，并陷入网罗被缠住。
13And so the word of the LORD is unto them precept by precept, precept by precept, line by line, line by line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14所以，你们这些亵慢的人， 就是辖管住在 耶路撒冷 这百姓的， 要听耶和华的话。
14Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scoffers, the ballad-mongers of this people which is in Jerusalem:
15你们曾说： 我们与死亡立约， 与阴间结盟； 敌军 如水 涨漫经过的时候， 必不临到我们； 因我们以谎言为避所， 在虚假以下藏身。
15Because ye have said: 'We have made a covenant with death, and with the nether-world are we at agreement; when the scouring scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood have we hid ourselves';
16所以，主耶和华如此说： 看哪，我在 锡安 放一块石头作为根基， 是试验过的石头， 是稳固根基，宝贵的房角 石 ； 信靠的人必不着急。
16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a costly corner-stone of sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste.
17我必以公平为准绳， 以公义为线铊。 冰雹必冲去谎言的避所； 大水必漫过藏身之处。
17And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding-place.
18你们与死亡所立的约必然废掉， 与阴间所结的盟必立不住。 敌军 如水 涨漫经过的时候， 你们必被他践踏；
18And your covenant with death shall be disannulled and your agreement with the nether-world shall not stand; when the scouring scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it,
19每逢经过必将你们掳去。 因为每早晨他必经过， 白昼黑夜都必如此。 明白传言的必受惊恐。
19As often as it passeth through, it shall take you; for morning by morning shall it pass through, by day and by night; and it shall be sheer terror to understand the message.
20原来，床榻短，使人不能舒身； 被窝窄，使人不能遮体。
20For the bed is too short for a man to stretch himself; and the covering too narrow when he gathereth himself up.
21耶和华必兴起，像在 毗拉心山 ； 他必发怒，像在 基遍谷 ， 好做成他的工，就是非常的工； 成就他的事，就是奇异的事。
21For the LORD will rise up as in mount Perazim, He will be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon; that He may do His work, strange is His work, and bring to pass His act, strange is His act.
22现在你们不可亵慢， 恐怕捆你们的绑索更结实了； 因为我从主—万军之耶和华那里听见， 已经决定在全地上施行灭绝的事。
22Now therefore be ye not scoffers, lest your bands be made strong; for an extermination wholly determined have I heard from the Lord, the GOD of hosts, upon the whole land.
23你们当侧耳听我的声音， 留心听我的言语。
23Give ye ear, and hear my voice; attend, and hear my speech.
24那耕地为要撒种的， 岂是常常耕地呢？ 岂是常常开垦耙地呢？
24Is the plowman never done with plowing to sow, with the opening and harrowing of his ground?
25他拉平了地面， 岂不就撒种小茴香， 播种大茴香， 按行列种小麦， 在定处种大麦， 在田边种粗麦呢？
25When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the black cummin, and scatter the cummin, and put in the wheat in rows and the barley in the appointed place and the spelt in the border thereof?
26因为他的 神教导他务农相宜， 并且指教他。
26For He doth instruct him aright; his God doth teach him.
27原来打小茴香，不用尖利的器具， 轧大茴香，也不用碌碡； 但用杖打小茴香， 用棍打大茴香。
27For the black cummin is not threshed with a threshing-sledge, neither is a cart-wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the black cummin is beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28做饼的 粮食 是用磨磨碎， 因它不必常打； 虽用碌碡和马打散， 却不磨它。
28Is bread corn crushed? Nay, he will not ever be threshing it; and though the roller of his wagon and its sharp edges move noisily, he doth not crush it.
29这也是出于万军之耶和华— 他的谋略奇妙； 他的智慧广大。
29This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts: Wonderful is His counsel, and great His wisdom.
