1Hae hmuen pongah ka palungthin tasoeh moe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah angthuih ving.
1At this my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.
2A thuih ih lok, anih ih pakha thung hoiah tacawt lok to kahoih ah tahngai ah.
2Hear ye attentively the terror of his voice, and the sound that cometh out of his mouth.
3A thuih ih lok loe van tlim ah kaom ahmuen boih ah phak moe, tangphrapuekhaih doeh long boenghaih ahmuen khoek to phak.
3He beholdeth under all the heavens, and his light is upon the ends of the earth.
4Tangphrapuek pacoengah lok to angzoh; a lensawkhaih lok hoiah kho to pazisak; lok tacawt pacoengah loe, takhi sae songhaih diisak let mak ai boeh.
4After it a noise shall roar, he shall thunder with the voice of his majesty, and shall not be found out, when his voice shall be heard.
5Dawnrai koi kaom ah Sithaw mah khopazih lok to tacawtsak; aicae mah panoek thai ai ih kalen parai hmuennawk to anih mah sak.
5God shall thunder wonderfully with his voice, he that doth great and unsearchable things.
6Dantui khaeah, Long ah krah ah, tiah a naa. Khotui khaeah, Kalen parai kho angzoh hanah lok a paek.
6He commandeth the snow to go down upon the earth, and the winter rain, and the shower of his strength.
7Kami boih mah a sak ih hmuen panoek thai hanah, kami boih mah sak ih tok to anghaksak.
7He sealeth up the hand of all men, that every one may know his works.
8Taw ih moinawk loe akhaw thungah caeh o moe, athung ah abuep o.
8Then the beast shall go into his covert, and shall abide in his den.
9Aloih bang hoiah takhi kamhae to angzoh moe, aluek bang hoiah kangqai to angzoh.
9Out of the inner parts shall a tempest come, and cold out of the north.
10Sithaw ih takhi mah hmuh pongah, tui to amkhawk, kawk parai tuinawk loe amkhawk o.
10When God bloweth there cometh frost, and again the waters are poured out abundantly.
11Tamai to tui hoiah koisak moe, ni aengh mah tamai to angkhoengsak phaeng.
11Corn desireth clouds, and the clouds spread their light:
12Long ah kaom hmuennawk boih loe, a thuih ih lok baktih toengah, sak o hanah a thuih ih lok hoiah ni amhae o.
12Which go round about, whithersoever the will of him that governeth them shall lead them, to whatsoever he shall command them upon the face of the whole earth:
13Kaminawk thuitaek han ih, to tih ai boeh loe angmah ih long to khetzawn han ih, to tih ai boeh loe palungnathaih amtuengsak han ih, to tiah ohsak.
13Whether in one tribe, or in his own land, or in what place soever of his mercy he shall command them to be found.
14Aw Job hae lok hae tahngai ah; dawnrai koi kaom Sithaw ih hmuennawk hae, anghngaih duem ah loe, poek ah.
14Hearken to these things, Job: Stand, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15Sithaw mah kawbangmaw tamainawk to amzamsak moe, aanghaih to ohsak, tiah na panoek maw?
15Dost thou know when God commanded the rains, to shew his light of his clouds?
16Palunghahaih hoi kakoep, dawnrai koi kaom, Sithaw mah sak ih hmuen ah kaom, tamainawk to kawbangmaw amzamsak, tito na panoek vai maw?
16Knowest thou the great paths of the clouds, and the perfect knowledges?
17Aloih bang ih takhi mah long to betsak naah, na khukbuen to kawbangmaw bet, tiah na panoek vai maw?
17Are not thy garments hot, when the south wind blows upon the earth?
18Sithaw mah kabae amdingsak hanah tamai to taboksak, nang loe to tiah na sak thai maw?
18Thou perhaps hast made the heavens with him, which are most strong, as if they were of molten brass.
19Anih khaeah timaw ka thuih o han, tito na patuk ah; khoving pongah tidoeh ka sah o thai ai boeh.
19Shew us what we may say to him: for we are wrapped up in darkness.
20Lokthuih ka koeh, tiah Anih khaeah ka thuih han maw? Kami mah to tiah thui nahaeloe, to kami to anih mah amrosak tangtang tih.
20Who shall tell him the things I speak? even if a man shall speak, he shall be swallowed up.
21Takhi song moe, tamai to hmuh phaeng naah, mi mah doeh ni aengh to khen thai ai.
21But now they see not the light: the air on a sudden shall be thickened into clouds, and the wind shall pass and drive them away.
22Anih loe kampha sui baktiah aluek bang hoiah angzoh; Sithaw loe zitthok Lensawkhaih hoiah akoep.
22Cold cometh out of the north, and to God praise with fear.
23Thacak Sithaw loe aicae mah hnu thai ai; anih loe thacakhaih, lokcaekhaih hoi toenghaih hoiah akoep; anih loe mi kawbaktih doeh pacaekthlaek ai.
23We cannot find him worthily: he is great in strength, and in judgment, and in justice, and he is ineffable.
24To pongah kaminawk mah anih to zit o; anih loe palungha kami ni, tiah poek ih kaminawk khingyahaih to tawn ai, tiah a naa.
24Therefore men shall fear him, and all that seem to themselves to be wise, shall not dare to behold him.
