Acts 2

Berean Standard Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
1RAN en pentikoj lao leler, irail karoj kot pena waja ta kij.
2Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
2A madan nil laud eu likamata nil en melimel peidido jan nanlan o kadirela im o waja, re kot pena ia.
3They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
3A lo jiraneran akai likamata kijiniai pwarado jokedi pon amen amen.
4And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
4Irail karoj ap dire kila Nen jaraui ap pikikidi padaki wei ni lokaia toror, duen Nen kotin kamajan irail ada.
5Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
5Men Juj, ol lelapok ko jan nan wei karoj pan lan kaikairu lerujalem.
6And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.
6Irail lao roner duen mepukat karoj, ap pokon penaer o puriamui kila, aki amen amen roner udan a lokaia.
7Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
7Irail karoj poneponeki o puriamuiki indada: Kilan, kaidin mepukat karoj men Kalilaa, me kin padapadak?
8How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?
8A daduen, kit kin ron irail amen amen ni udan nil atail?
9Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
9Men Partien, men Medien, men Elam, o toun Mejopotamien, o Iudaa, o Kapadojien, o Pontuj, o Ajien,
10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,
10O Prikien, o Pampilien, o Akipten, o liman Lipien; jalon Kirene, o men Rom, me mi waja et, karoj Juj oko o Projelit oko,
11both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
11Men Kreta o men Arapien, iaduen kitail kin ron kin irail udan nil atail ar katitiki manaman en Kot akan?
12Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
12Irail karoj ari pinidar o ponepondar, indada nan pun arail: Dakot met?
13But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
13Akai lalaue indada: Irail dire kila wain kap.
14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.
14A Petruj ianaki ekamen oko ap kotida, kapitie laudeda majani on irail: Ol en Iudaa kan o komail karoj, me kaujon Ierujalem, komail en aja duen met, o komail ron maj ai padak!
15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
16Pwe iei mepukat, me lolok ren jaukop Ioel:
17‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
17Kot kotin majanier: Ieteten me pan wiaui ni imwilan ran akan: I pan kamoredi Nen i pon uduk karoj. Noumail ol o li akan ap pan deideikop, o noumail manakap akan pan kilekilan kaudial akan, o noumail di ma kan pan auramenda;

18A ni ran oko I pil pan kamoredi Nen i pon ai ladu o lidu kan, rap pan deideikop.
19I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
19O I pan kapwareda manaman akai nanlan pali poa, o kilel akai nin jappa pali pa: Nta, o kijiniai, o adiniai;
20The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
20A katipin pan wukila rotorotala, a jaunipon pan wiala nta mon ran lapalap o linan en Kaun o pan pwarado.
21And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
21O a pan wiaui ma meamen likwir on mar en Kaun o, a pan dorela.
22Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.
22Ari ol en Ijrael, komail ron kajoi pot et: Iejuj men Najaret ol amen, me Kot kotin kilele kidar nan pun omail dodok kelail akan o manaman akan, o kilel akan, me Kot kotin wiaki i nan pun omail, duen me komail pein aja;
23He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.
23I lao panalar duen kupur en Kot erpit, komail ap jaikikidi pa en me japun kan, ap pajuredi on ni lopu o kamatalar.
24But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches.

25Pwe Dawid majanier duen i: I ninar Kaun o potopot mo i; pwe a kotikot ni pali maun i, pwe i ender mokid.

38Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
38Petruj ap majani on irail: Komail kalula, o amen amen en paptaij on ni mar en Iejuj Krijtuj, pwe dip omail akan en lapwada. A komail pan tunole Nen jaraui.

45O netikila ar kapwa kan o nene on irail karoj, duen ar jamama amen amen.
46With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,
