Psalms 33

World English Bible
Asang Khongca Bible (Eastern Khumi Chin, 2019)
1Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
1Nangcae katoeng kaminawk, Angraeng ah anghoe oh: katoeng kaminawk loe saphawhaih laasak han krak.
2Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
2Toenghaih hoiah Angraeng to pakoeh oh: aqui hato kaom katoeng tamoi kruek hoiah anih to pakoeh oh.
3Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
3Anih khaeah laa kangtha to sah oh; mongkah uenghaih hoiah kanawm ah anih to pakoeh oh.
4For the LORD’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
4Angraeng ih lok loe toeng; anih ih toknawk boih loe toenghaih hoiah ni sak.
5He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of the LORD.
5Anih loe toenghaih hoiah khokhan moe, kamsoem ah lokcaekhaih to a koeh, long loe Angraeng hoihaih hoiah koi.
6By the LORD’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth.
6Vannawk loe Angraeng ih lok hoiah sak moe, van ah kaom hmuennawk boih doeh a pakha thung ih takhi hoiah ni a sak.
7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
7Anih mah tuipui ih tuinawk to nawnto acuu moe, kathuk tuipui doeh pakhuenghaih ahmuen ah a suek.
8Let all the earth fear the LORD. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
8Long boih mah Angraeng to zii o nasoe: long kaminawk boih mah anih to khingza o nasoe.
9For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.
9Tipongah tih nahaeloe anih loe thuih baktiah angcoengsak; a paek ih lok baktiah ohsak.
10The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
10Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk lokramhaih to anih mah paro pae: kaminawk atimhaih doeh a phraek pae.
11The counsel of the LORD stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
11Angraeng khokhanhaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, a poekhaih loe angzo han koi caanawk khoek to om poe tih.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
12Angmah ih qawktoep hanah a qoih ih kaminawk hoi Sithaw loe Angraeng ni, tiah tapom acaengnawk loe tahamhoih o.
13The LORD looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
13Angraeng mah van hoi khet tathuk naah, kaminawk to hnuk boih.
14From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
14A ohhaih ahmuen hoiah khet naah, long ah kaom hmuennawk to panoek boih.
15he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
15Angraeng mah kami boih hanah poekhaih palungthin to paek; nihcae mah sak ih hmuennawk Angraeng mah panoek boih.
16There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
16Kawbaktih siangpahrang doeh kanoih parai misatuh kaminawk mah pahlong ai: thacak kami doeh thacakhaih mah loisak ai.
17A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
17Hrang mah ngancuemhaih paek thai ai: a thacakhaih mah mi doeh pahlong thai ai.
18Behold, the LORD’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness,
18Khenah, Angraeng ih mik loe angmah zithaih tawn kami, a palungnathaih oep kaminawk nuiah oh;
19to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
19duekhaih thung hoiah nihcae ih pakhra to anih mah pahlong moe, khokhaa naah nihcae hingsak hanah a khetzawn.
20Our soul has waited for the LORD. He is our help and our shield.
20Aicae hinghaih mah Angraeng to zing: anih loe aicae bomkung hoi angvaenhaih aphaw ah oh.
21For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
21Kaciim anih ih ahmin to a oep o pongah, aicae ih palungthin loe anih ah anghoehaih a tawnh o.
22Let your loving kindness be on us, LORD, since we have hoped in you.
22Aw Angraeng, nang kang oep o baktih toengah, na palungnathaih kaicae nuiah om nasoe.
