Psalms 74

World English Bible
Asang Khongca Bible (Eastern Khumi Chin, 2019)
1God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
1Aw Sithaw, tipongah dungzan khoek to nang pahnawt loe? Tipongah nangmah ih caphoih ahmuen ah kapra tuunawk nuiah palung na phui loe?
2Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
2Canghnii hoiah na qan ih kaminawk, na qawktoep acaengnawk hoi na ohhaih Zion mae to poek ah.
3Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
3Kaciim ahmuen to misanawk mah paro o boih boeh pongah, dungzan ah kamro ahmuen ah na khok to paqoi lai ah.
4Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
4Na misanawk loe nangmah ih kaminawk salakah hang o; nihcae loe angmacae angmathaih kahni to payang o.
5They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
5Nihcae loe caka hoi tu thung ih thing pakhruh kaminawk baktiah oh o.
6Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
6Toe vaihi loe sak ih hmuennawk to caki hoi cakanawk hoiah a saek o boih boeh.
7They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
7Na hmuenciim to hmai hoiah a thlaek o boeh; na hmin ohhaih ahmuen doeh long ah vah o moe, panuet thok ah a sak o boeh.
8They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
8Nihcae mah, Hae kaminawk hae paduek boih si, tiah thuih o moe, prae thung ih Sithaw bokhaih ahmuennawk to hmai hoiah thlaek o boih boeh.
9We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
9Kaicae loe kaimacae angmathaih tidoeh ka hnu o ai; tahmaanawk doeh om o ai boeh; nasetto maw hae tiah om vop tih, tiah panoek kami kaicae thungah mi doeh om ai.
10How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
10Aw Sithaw, nasetto maw misa mah kasaethui vop tih? Misa mah na hmin kasae thui poe tih maw?
11Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
11Tipongah na ban, na bantang ban to na zuh let loe? Na saoek thung hoiah pathok ah.
12Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.
12Sithaw loe canghnii hoiah ni kai ih siangpahrang ah oh boeh; anih mah ni long nuiah pahlonghaih to sak.
13You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
13Na thacakhaih hoiah tuipui to na pakhoih; tuipuinawk thung ih pahui puinawk ih lu to na khaeh.
14You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
14Leviathan ih lunawk to na koihsak phaeng moe, praezaek ah kaom kaminawk hanah buh ah na paek.
15You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
15Nangmah ni tuibap tui hoi vacong tuinawk to na longsak; vapui tuinawk doeh na kaangsak.
16The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
16Khodai loe nang ih ni, khoving doeh nang ih ni; nangmah ni ni hoi aanghaih to na sak.
17You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
17Nangmah ni long angzithaih ramrinawk to na sak moe, nipui hoi siktue doeh na sak.
18Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
18Aw Angraeng, misa mah kasaethuihaih to poek ah; kamthunawk mah loe na hmin to patoek o.
19Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.
19Nangmah ih pahuu tuinom hinghaih to kasae kaminawk khaeah paek hmah; nangmah ih amtang kaminawk to dungzan khoek to pahnet hmah.
20Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
20Lokkamhaih to poek ah; long khoving ahmuennawk loe pacaekthlaekhaih hoiah koi.
21Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
21Patangkhang kaminawk to palung boengsak hmah; kamtang hoi kavawt kaminawk mah na hmin to saphaw o nasoe.
22Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
22Aw Sithaw, angthawk tahang ah loe, na sak ih hmuen to pakaa ah; kawbangmaw kamthunawk mah nang sethaih kawng ni thokkruek thuih o, tito panoek ah.
23Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
23Na misanawk ih lok to pahnet hmah; na misanawk hanghaih lok loe pop aep aep boeh.
