1Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
1耶和華吩咐 摩西 說：「你進去見法老，對他說：『耶和華－ 希伯來 人的上帝這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。
2For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
2你若不肯容他們去，仍舊強留他們，
3behold, the LORD’s hand is on your livestock which are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the herds, and on the flocks with a very grievous pestilence.
3耶和華的手加在你田間的牲畜上，就是在馬、驢、駱駝、牛群、羊群上，必有重重的瘟疫。
4The LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt; and nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”
4耶和華要分別 以色列 的牲畜和 埃及 的牲畜，凡屬 以色列 人的，一樣都不死。』」
5The LORD appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.”
5耶和華就定了時候，說：「明天耶和華必在此地行這事。」
6The LORD did that thing on the next day; and all the livestock of Egypt died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.
6第二天，耶和華就行這事。 埃及 的牲畜 幾乎 都死了，只是 以色列 人的牲畜，一個都沒有死。
7Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he didn’t let the people go.
7法老打發人去 看 ，誰知 以色列 人的牲畜連一個都沒有死。法老的心卻是固執，不容百姓去。
8The LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh.
8耶和華吩咐 摩西 、 亞倫 說：「你們取幾捧爐灰， 摩西 要在法老面前向天揚起來。
9It shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be boils and blisters breaking out on man and on animal, throughout all the land of Egypt.”
9這灰要在 埃及 全地變作塵土，在人身上和牲畜身上成了起泡的瘡。」
10They took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward the sky; and it became boils and blisters breaking out on man and on animal.
10摩西 、 亞倫 取了爐灰，站在法老面前。 摩西 向天揚起來，就在人身上和牲畜身上成了起泡的瘡。
11The magicians couldn’t stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.
11行法術的在 摩西 面前站立不住，因為在他們身上和一切 埃及 人身上都有這瘡。
12The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as the LORD had spoken to Moses.
12耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不聽他們，正如耶和華對 摩西 所說的。
13The LORD said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
13耶和華對 摩西 說：「你清早起來，站在法老面前，對他說：『耶和華－ 希伯來 人的上帝這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。
14For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.
14因為這一次我要叫一切的災殃臨到你和你臣僕並你百姓的身上，叫你知道在普天下沒有像我的。
15For now I would have stretched out my hand, and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth;
15我若伸手用瘟疫攻擊你和你的百姓，你早就從地上除滅了。
16but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,
16其實，我叫你存立，是特要向你顯我的大能，並要使我的名傳遍天下。
17because you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
17你還向我的百姓自高，不容他們去嗎？
18Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now.
18到明天約在這時候，我必叫重大的冰雹降下，自從 埃及 開國以來，沒有這樣的冰雹。
19Now therefore command that all of your livestock and all that you have in the field be brought into shelter. The hail will come down on every man and animal that is found in the field, and isn’t brought home, and they will die.”’”
19現在你要打發人把你的牲畜和你田間一切所有的催進來；凡在田間不收回家的，無論是人是牲畜，冰雹必降在他們身上，他們就必死。』」
20Those who feared the LORD’s word among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses.
20法老的臣僕中，懼怕耶和華這話的，便叫他的奴僕和牲畜跑進家來。
21Whoever didn’t respect the LORD’s word left his servants and his livestock in the field.
21但那不把耶和華這話放在心上的，就將他的奴僕和牲畜留在田裏。
22The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on animal, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”
22耶和華對 摩西 說：「你向天伸杖，使 埃及 遍地的人身上和牲畜身上，並田間各樣菜蔬上，都有冰雹。」
23Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and the LORD sent thunder and hail; and lightning flashed down to the earth. The LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.
23摩西 向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火閃到地上；耶和華下雹在 埃及 地上。
24So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
24那時，雹與火攙雜，甚是厲害，自從 埃及 成國以來，遍地沒有這樣的。
25The hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and animal; and the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
25在 埃及 遍地，雹擊打了田間所有的人和牲畜，並一切的菜蔬，又打壞田間一切的樹木。
26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.
26惟獨 以色列 人所住的 歌珊 地沒有冰雹。
27Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. The LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
27法老打發人召 摩西 、 亞倫 來，對他們說：「這一次我犯了罪了。耶和華是公義的；我和我的百姓是邪惡的。
28Pray to the LORD; for there has been enough of mighty thunderings and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”
28這雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。請你們求耶和華，我就容你們去，不再留住你們。」
29Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The thunders shall cease, and there will not be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.
29摩西 對他說：「我一出城，就要向耶和華舉手 禱告 ；雷必止住，也不再有冰雹，叫你知道全地都是屬耶和華的。
30But as for you and your servants, I know that you don’t yet fear the LORD God.”
30至於你和你的臣僕，我知道你們還是不懼怕耶和華上帝。」（
31The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley had ripened and the flax was blooming.
31那時，麻和大麥被 雹 擊打；因為大麥已經吐穗，麻也開了花。
32But the wheat and the spelt were not struck, for they had not grown up.
32只是小麥和粗麥沒有被擊打，因為還沒有長成。）
33Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.
33摩西 離了法老出城，向耶和華舉手 禱告 ；雷和雹就止住，雨也不再澆在地上了。
34When Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
34法老見雨和雹與雷止住，就越發犯罪；他和他的臣僕都硬着心。
35The heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go, just as the LORD had spoken through Moses.
35法老的心剛硬，不容 以色列 人去，正如耶和華藉着 摩西 所說的。
