1ผมเห็นหมายสำคัญอีกอย่างหนึ่งในท้องฟ้า ซึ่งยิ่งใหญ่และน่าอัศจรรย์ คือทูตเจ็ดตนที่มีภัยพิบัติเจ็ดอย่างสุดท้าย เพราะในภัยพิบัติเหล่านั้น ความเดือดดาลของพระเจ้าสิ้นสุดลง
1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2ผมเห็นสิ่งหนึ่งเหมือนทะเลแก้วปนไฟ และเห็นคนที่ชนะสัตว์ร้าย รูปของมัน และเลขของชื่อมัน ยืนอยู่บนทะเลแก้ว ถือพิณของพระเจ้า
2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had overcome the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God:
3พวกเขาร้องเพลงของโมเสส ผู้รับใช้ของพระเจ้า และเพลงของลูกแกะ ว่า “การกระทำของพระองค์ยิ่งใหญ่และน่าอัศจรรย์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าผู้เป็นพระเจ้า ผู้มีอำนาจทั้งสิ้น! วิถีทางของพระองค์ชอบธรรมและสัตย์จริง พระองค์ผู้เป็นกษัตริย์แห่งบรรดาชนชาติ
3And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, O King of ages.
4ใครจะไม่เกรงกลัวพระองค์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และไม่ถวายพระสิริแด่ชื่อของพระองค์? เพราะพระองค์ผู้เดียวบริสุทธิ์ เพราะทุกชนชาติจะมากราบไหว้ต่อหน้าพระองค์ เพราะการกระทำอันชอบธรรมของพระองค์ได้ปรากฏให้เห็นแล้ว”
4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come, and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest.
5หลังจากสิ่งเหล่านี้ ผมมองดู และวิหารภายในเต็นท์แห่งคำพยานในสวรรค์ก็เปิดออก
5And after these things I looked; and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
6ทูตเจ็ดตนที่มีภัยพิบัติเจ็ดอย่างออกมาจากวิหาร สวมผ้าลินินบริสุทธิ์สว่าง และคาดแถบทองคำรอบอก
6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed with clean and white linen, and girt about the breasts with golden girdles.
7สิ่งมีชีวิตหนึ่งในสี่ตัวมอบชามทองคำเจ็ดใบแก่ทูตทั้งเจ็ด ชามเหล่านั้นเต็มด้วยความเดือดดาลของพระเจ้า ผู้มีชีวิตอยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์
7And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
8วิหารเต็มไปด้วยควันจากพระสิริของพระเจ้าและจากพลังของพระองค์ ไม่มีใครเข้าไปในวิหารได้ จนกว่าภัยพิบัติเจ็ดอย่างของทูตทั้งเจ็ดจะสิ้นสุดลง
8And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
