1Al Músico principal: en Neginoth: Masquil de David, cuando vinieron los Zipheos y dijeron á Saúl: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra? OH Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, y con tu poder defiéndeme.
1Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2Oh Dios, oye mi oración; escucha las razones de mi boca.
2Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, y fuertes buscan mi alma: no han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)
3For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; el Señor es con los que sostienen mi vida.
4Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5El volverá el mal á mis enemigos: córtalos por tu verdad.
5He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6Voluntariamente sacrificaré á ti; alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno.
6I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD ; for it is good.
7Porque me ha librado de toda angustia, y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos mi deseo .
7For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
