1Louvem ao SENHOR! Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao SENHOR, que tem grande prazer em seus mandamentos.
1Hallelujah! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments.
2Sua descendência será poderosa na terra. A geração dos retos será abençoada.
2His descendants will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3Bens e riquezas há em sua casa. Sua justiça dura para sempre.
3Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
4A luz desponta nas trevas para os retos, para o que é bondoso, misericordioso e justo.
4Light dawns in the darkness for the upright— for the gracious, compassionate, and righteous.
5Tudo vai bem com o homem que trata com bondade e empresta. Ele defenderá a sua causa no juízo.
5It is well with the man who is generous and lends freely, whose affairs are guided by justice.
6Pois ele jamais será abalado. O justo será lembrado para sempre.
6Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous man will be remembered forever.
7Ele não terá medo de más notícias. Seu coração está firme, confiando no SENHOR.
7He does not fear bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
8Seu coração está bem firmado. Ele não terá medo, no fim, quando vir os seus adversários.
8His heart is assured; he does not fear, until he looks in triumph on his foes.
9Ele distribuiu, ele deu aos pobres. Sua justiça dura para sempre. Seu poder será exaltado com honra.
9He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor.
10O ímpio verá isso e se afligirá. Ele rangerá os dentes e definhará. O desejo dos ímpios perecerá.
10The wicked man will see and be grieved; he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked will perish.
