World English Bible
1Oratio ipsi David. [Inclina, Domine, aurem tuam et exaudi me, quoniam inops et pauper sum ego.
1LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2Custodi animam meam, quoniam sanctus sum; salvum fac servum tuum, Deus meus, sperantem in te.
2You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. Selah.
3Miserere mei, Domine, quoniam ad te clamavi tota die;
3You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
4lætifica animam servi tui, quoniam ad te, Domine, animam meam levavi.
4Turn us, God of our salvation, and cause your indignation toward us to cease.
5Quoniam tu, Domine, suavis et mitis, et multæ misericordiæ omnibus invocantibus te.
5Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
6Auribus percipe, Domine, orationem meam, et intende voci deprecationis meæ.
6Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7In die tribulationis meæ clamavi ad te, quia exaudisti me.
7Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.
8Non est similis tui in diis, Domine, et non est secundum opera tua.
8I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.
9Omnes gentes quascumque fecisti venient, et adorabunt coram te, Domine, et glorificabunt nomen tuum.
9Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
10Quoniam magnus es tu, et faciens mirabilia; tu es Deus solus.
10Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11Deduc me, Domine, in via tua, et ingrediar in veritate tua; lætetur cor meum, ut timeat nomen tuum.
11Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
12Confitebor tibi, Domine Deus meus, in toto corde meo, et glorificabo nomen tuum in æternum:
12Yes, the LORD will give that which is good. Our land will yield its increase.
13quia misericordia tua magna est super me, et eruisti animam meam ex inferno inferiori.
13Righteousness goes before him, and prepares the way for his steps.
14Deus, iniqui insurrexerunt super me, et synagoga potentium quæsierunt animam meam: et non proposuerunt te in conspectu suo.
