Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are secure as a young lion.
1Mwet koluk uh kaing finne wangin mwet ukwalos, a sie mwet suwoswos el pulaik oana soko lion.
2For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; but by a man of understanding and knowledge established order shall long continue.
2Sie mutunfacl fah arulana ku ac oan paht mwet kol we uh fin mwet etauk ac lalmwetmet. A sie mutunfacl fin oru ma koluk, ac fah fusus ayaol lun mwet leum we.
3A poor man that oppresseth the weak is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
3Sie mwet leum su akkeokye mwet sukasrup, ac oana af matol ma kunausla fokin ima uh.
4They that forsake the law praise the wicked; but such as keep the law contend with them.
4Kom fin pilesru ma sap, kom akkeye layen lun mwet koluk; a kom fin akos, na kom lain mwet koluk.
5Evil men understand not justice; but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
5Mwet koluk tia etu lah mea suwohs ac nununku suwohs, a elos su suk ma lungse lun LEUM GOD elos kalem kac.
6Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
6Wo in sukasrup ac suwohs, liki na in kasrup ac sesuwos.
7A wise son observeth the teaching; but he that is a companion of gluttonous men shameth his father.
7Sie mwet fusr su akos ma sap el lalmwetmet. El su asruoki nu sin mwet pukafukwel, el akmwekinye papa tumal.
8He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, gathereth it for him that is gracious to the poor.
8Kom fin akkasrupye kom sifacna ke ma laesla yohk ma kom eisla sin mwet, na mwe kasrup lom an ac fah ma lun mwet su kulang nu sin mwet sukasrup.
9He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
9Kom fin tia akos ma sap uh, God El ac fah arulana srunga in lohng pre lom.
10Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit; but the whole-hearted shall inherit good.
10Kom fin kiapwela sie mwet suwoswos in oru ma koluk, kom ac fah putatyang nu in mwe kwasrip lom sifacna. Mwet wangin mwata ac fah oasr ma lacna nu sel.
11The rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him through.
11Mwet kasrup uh sifacna nunku mu elos lalmwetmet, a sie mwet sukasrup su oasr etauk yoro el akilen lah elos tiana lalmwetmet.
12When the righteous exult, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men must be sought for.
12Ke pacl sie mwet wo el kol, na mwet nukewa elos engan, a ke mwet koluk uh kol, mwet uh ac wikelik.
13He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.
13Kom fin okanla ma koluk lom, kom tia ku in kapkapak. Kom fin fahkak ma koluk lom ac forla liki, na God El ac fah pakoten nu sum.
14Happy is the man that feareth alway; but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into evil.
14Insewowo mwet se su sensenkakunul liki ma koluk. Kom fin likkeke, kom ac musalla.
15As a roaring lion, and a ravenous bear; so is a wicked ruler over a poor people.
15Sie mwet leum koluk el mwe sensen nu sin mwet sukasrup, oana soko lion ngutngut, ku soko bear ma forfor in sukok ma elan kang.
16The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
16Sie leum su wangin etauk yoro fah arulana akupaye kemkatu lun mwet lal. A el su srunga eis ma laesla ke inkanek kutasrik ac fah leum paht.
17A man that is laden with the blood of any person shall hasten his steps unto the pit; none will support him.
17Sie mwet su oasr mwata ke akmas el sifacna pikin lufin misa kial. Nimet srike in ikolol.
18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved; but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
18Oru ma suwohs ac pwaye, ac kom ac fah muta in misla. Kom fin oru ma sesuwos, kom ac sa na ikori.
19He that tilleth his ground shall have plenty of bread; but he that followeth after vain things shall have poverty enough.
19Sie mwet ima alken ac fah oasr sunun mwe mongo yorol, a sie mwet sisi pacl el ac sukasrup pacl nukewa.
20A faithful man shall abound with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished.
20Mwet su moul suwohs ac fah insewowo in moul lalos. Tusruktu kom fin sulaklak in suk mwe kasrup, kom ac fah sun kai.
21To have respect of persons is not good; for a man will transgress for a piece of bread.
21Tia wo in wiwimwet. Tusruktu kutu mwet nununku uh elos oru ma sesuwos tuh elos in eis molin eyeinse na srisrik.
22He that hath an evil eye hasteneth after riches, and knoweth not that want shall come upon him.
22Mwet srowohsr elos arulana sulaklak in kasrupi, oru elos tia akilen lah elos ac sa na sukasrupla.
23He that rebuketh a man shall in the end find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
23Sang kas in aksuwos nu sin sie mwet, ac tok el fah insewowo sum liki na ke kom aklukukyal.
24Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith: 'It is no transgression', the same is the companion of a destroyer.
24Sie mwet su kiapu papa ac nina kial, ac pangon mu tia koluk, el oana mwet pisrapasr na pwaye.
25He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife; but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be abundantly gratified.
25Rapku pwanak lokoalok pacl nukewa. Ac wo nu sum kom in filiya lulalfongi lom in LEUM GOD .
26He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; but whoso walketh wisely, he shall escape.
26Ma lalfon se kom fin lulalfongi nunak lom sifacna. Kom in fahsr tukun kas in luti lun mwet lalmwetmet na kom ac fah moul misla.
27He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
27Sang kasru nu sin mwet sukasrup ac kom ac fah tiana kwacola. Kom fin kaliya motom liki mwet enenu, mwet puspis ac fah selngawi kom.
28When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase.
28Ke pacl mwet koluk tuyak in kol, mwet uh ac wikelik. Na ke pacl elos tila kol, mwet suwoswos puspis ac sifil folokeni.
