Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD as the watercourses: He turneth it whithersoever He will.
1LEUM GOD El leumi nunak lun sie tokosra, oana ke El oakiya fahsr lun soko infacl.
2Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the hearts.
2Sahp kom nunku mu ma nukewa kom oru uh suwohs, tuh esam lah LEUM GOD El tuni nunak lun insiom.
3To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
3Oru ma suwohs ac pwaye; ma inge mwe akenganye LEUM GOD yohk liki ma kom ac kisakunang nu sel.
4A haughty look, and a proud heart — the tillage of the wicked is sin.
4Mwet koluk uh kolyuk ke nunak filing ac inse fulat. Ma inge koluk.
5The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but every one that is hasty hasteth only to want.
5Motkwala akwoye orekma lom, na ac fah yolyak ma oan yurum; kom fin orekma sulaklak, ac fah tiana sun enenu lom.
6The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vapour driven to and fro; they that seek them seek death.
6Mwe kasrup kom eis ke inkanek kutasrik ac sa na in wanginla, tusruktu ac kol kom nu ke misa meet liki ac wanginla.
7The violence of the wicked shall drag them away; because they refuse to do justly.
7Mwet koluk uh ac fah kunausyukla ke sulallal lalos sifacna; elos srunga oru ma suwohs.
8The way of man is froward and strange; but as for the pure, his work is right.
8Mwet oru ma koluk elos fahsr ke inkanek kih; a mwet wangin mwata elos oru ma suwohs.
9It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than in a house in common with a contentious woman.
9Ac wo in muta fin mangon lohm uh, liki in muta in lohm uh wi sie mutan torkaskas.
10The soul of the wicked desireth evil; his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
10Mwet koluk elos kena oru ma koluk pacl nukewa; wangin pakomuta lalos nu sin mwet.
11When the scorner is punished, the thoughtless is made wise; and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
11Ke pacl se kaiyuk sie mwet inse fulat, na sie mwet sulalkung el ac ku in eis etauk kac. Sie mwet lalmwetmet el eis etauk ke ma lutiyuk el.
12The Righteous One considereth the house of the wicked; overthrowing the wicked to their ruin.
12God, su suwoswoslana, El etu ma orek in lohm sin mwet koluk, ac El ac fah eisalosyang nu ke ongoiya.
13Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be answered.
13Kom fin srangesr lohng pang lun mwet sukasrup ke elos suk kasru, na ke kom ac pang in suk kasru, ac fah tia pac lohngyuk kom.
14A gift in secret pacifieth anger, and a present in the bosom strong wrath.
14Sie mwet fin mulat sum, na sie mwe sang in lukma ac ku in akmisyella.
15To do justly is joy to the righteous, but ruin to the workers of iniquity.
15Pacl ma orekla sie nununku suwohs, mwet wo uh insewowo, a mwet koluk elos toasrla.
16The man that strayeth out of the way of understanding shall rest in the congregation of the shades.
16Misa soano kutena mwet su tafongla liki inkanek lun etauk.
17He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man; he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
17El su sisla mani yohk nu ke mwe kasrup, wain ac mongo yuyu, ac fah tiana kasrup.
18The wicked is a ransom for the righteous; and the faithless cometh in the stead of the upright.
18Mwet koluk sifacna use nu faclos mwe keok ma elos srike in oru nu sin mwet wo.
19It is better to dwell in a desert land, than with a contentious and fretful woman.
19Wo in muta yen mwesis liki in muta yurin sie mutan su lungse torkaskas.
20There is desirable treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swalloweth it up.
20Mwet lalmwetmet uh pus mwe kasrup ac mwe insewowo lalos, a mwet lalfon uh sa na in sisla mani lalos.
21He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, prosperity, and honour.
21Kom in kulang ac suwosna, na ac fah loes moul lom; mwet uh fah akfulatye kom ac oru wo nu sum.
22A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and bringeth down the stronghold wherein it trusteth.
22Sie mwet kol lalmwetmet lun un mwet mweun, ku in sruokya sie siti ma karinginyuk sin mwet na watwen, ac kunausla pot ma elos lulalfongi yohk kac.
23Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
23Kom fin tia lungse sun mwe lokoalok, karinganang ma kom fahk an.
24A proud and haughty man, scorner is his name, even he that dealeth in overbearing pride.
24Sie mwet inse fulat el nunku kacl sifacna, ac el filang ac konkin.
25The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
25Sie mwet alsrangesr su srunga orekma, el sifacna oru elan misa —
26There is that coveteth greedily all the day long; but the righteous giveth and spareth not.
26pwayena ma el nunku pa el suk in pus ma lal. A sie mwet suwoswos el insewowo in sang ac tia sruok.
27The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more, when he bringeth it with the proceeds of wickedness?
27LEUM GOD El srunga mwe kisa lun mwet koluk, yokna elos fin oru ke nunak koluk lalos.
28A false witness shall perish; but the man that obeyeth shall speak unchallenged.
28Kas lun sie mwet loh kikiap fah tia lulalfongiyuk, a kas lun sie mwet su nunkala mau wo fah lohngyuk.
29A wicked man hardeneth his face; but as for the upright, he looketh well to his way.
29Mwet suwoswos elos okak in etu lalos; mwet koluk uh tia sruhk etu a elos kwafelos mwet in liye mu elos etu.
30There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
30Wangin sripen lalmwetmet, etauk, ku liyaten lun mwet, fin lain LEUM GOD .
31The horse is prepared against the day of battle; but victory is of the LORD.
31Kom ku in akoela horse puspis nu ke mweun, tusruktu LEUM GOD pa ac sot kutangla.
