1And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
1耶和華曉諭 摩西 說：
2'Make thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them; and they shall be unto thee for the calling of the congregation, and for causing the camps to set forward.
2「你要用銀子做兩枝號，都要錘出來的，用以招聚會眾，並叫眾營起行。
3And when they shall blow with them, all the congregation shall gather themselves unto thee at the door of the tent of meeting.
3吹這號的時候，全會眾要到你那裏，聚集在會幕門口。
4And if they blow but with one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.
4若單吹一枝，眾首領，就是 以色列 軍中的統領，要聚集到你那裏。
5And when ye blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall take their journey.
5吹出大聲的時候，東邊安的營都要起行。
6And when ye blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall set forward; they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
6二次吹出大聲的時候，南邊安的營都要起行。他們將起行，必吹出大聲。
7But when the assembly is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
7但招聚會眾的時候，你們要吹號，卻不要吹出大聲。
8And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.
8亞倫 子孫作祭司的要吹這號；這要作你們世世代代永遠的定例。
9And when ye go to war in your land against the adversary that oppresseth you, then ye shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
9你們在自己的地，與欺壓你們的敵人打仗，就要用號吹出大聲，便在耶和華－你們的上帝面前得蒙紀念，也蒙拯救脫離仇敵。
10Also in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed seasons, and in your new moons, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.'
10在你們快樂的日子和節期，並月朔，獻燔祭和平安祭，也要吹號，這都要在你們的上帝面前作為紀念。我是耶和華－你們的上帝。」
11And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.
11第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法 櫃 的帳幕收上去。
12And the children of Israel set forward by their stages out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran. —
12以色列 人就按站往前行，離開 西奈 的曠野，雲彩停住在 巴蘭 的曠野。
13And they took their first journey, according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
13這是他們照耶和華藉 摩西 所吩咐的，初次往前行。
14And in the first place the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward according to their hosts; and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
14按着軍隊首先往前行的是 猶大 營的纛。統領軍隊的是 亞米拿達 的兒子 拿順 。
15And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
15統領 以薩迦 支派軍隊的是 蘇押 的兒子 拿坦業 。
16And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
16統領 西布倫 支派軍隊的是 希倫 的兒子 以利押 。
17And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, set forward.
17帳幕拆卸， 革順 的子孫和 米拉利 的子孫就抬着帳幕先往前行。
18And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their hosts; and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
18按着軍隊往前行的是 呂便 營的纛。統領軍隊的是 示丟珥 的兒子 以利蓿 。
19And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
19統領 西緬 支派軍隊的是 蘇利沙代 的兒子 示路蔑 。
20And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
20統領 迦得 支派軍隊的是 丟珥 的兒子 以利雅薩 。
21And the Kohathites the bearers of the sanctuary set forward, that the tabernacle might be set up against their coming.
21哥轄 人抬着聖物先往前行。他們未到以前， 抬帳幕的 已經把帳幕支好。
22And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their hosts; and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
22按着軍隊往前行的是 以法蓮 營的纛，統領軍隊的是 亞米忽 的兒子 以利沙瑪 。
23And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
23統領 瑪拿西 支派軍隊的是 比大蓿 的兒子 迦瑪列 。
24And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
24統領 便雅憫 支派軍隊的是 基多尼 的兒子 亞比但 。
25And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rearward of all the camps, set forward according to their hosts; and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
25在諸營末後的是 但 營的纛，按着軍隊往前行。統領軍隊的是 亞米沙代 的兒子 亞希以謝 。
26And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran.
26統領 亞設 支派軍隊的是 俄蘭 的兒子 帕結 。
27And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
27統領 拿弗他利 支派軍隊的是 以南 的兒子 亞希拉 。
28Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their hosts. — And they set forward.
28以色列 人按着軍隊往前行，就是這樣。
29And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law: 'We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said: I will give it you; come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.'
29摩西 對他岳父－ 米甸 人 流珥 的兒子 何巴 －說：「我們要行路，往耶和華所應許之地去；他曾說：『我要將這地賜給你們。』現在求你和我們同去，我們必厚待你，因為耶和華指着 以色列 人已經應許給好處。」
30And he said unto him: 'I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.'
30何巴 回答說：「我不去；我要回本地本族那裏去。」
31And he said: 'Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.
31摩西 說：「求你不要離開我們；因為你知道我們要在曠野安營，你可以當作我們的眼目。
32And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what good soever the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.'
32你若和我們同去，將來耶和華有甚麼好處待我們，我們也必以甚麼好處待你。」
33And they set forward from the mount of the LORD three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting-place for them.
33以色列 人離開耶和華的山，往前行了三天的路程；耶和華的約櫃在前頭行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安歇的地方。
34And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
34他們拔營往前行，日間有耶和華的雲彩在他們以上。
35And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said: 'Rise up, O LORD, and let Thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate Thee flee before Thee.'
35約櫃往前行的時候， 摩西 就說：「耶和華啊，求你興起！願你的仇敵四散！願恨你的人從你面前逃跑！」
36And when it rested, he said: 'Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of the families of Israel.'
36約櫃停住的時候，他就說：「耶和華啊，求你回到 以色列 的千萬人中！」
