1Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat began Abijam to reign over Judah.
1尼八 的儿子 耶罗波安 王十八年， 亚比央 登基作 犹大 王，
2Three years reigned he in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.
2在 耶路撒冷 作王三年。他母亲名叫 玛迦 ，是 押沙龙 的女儿。
3And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not whole with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.
3亚比央 行他父亲在他以前所行的一切恶，他的心不像他祖 大卫 的心，诚诚实实地顺服耶和华—他的 神。
4Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;
4然而耶和华—他的 神因 大卫 的缘故，仍使他在 耶路撒冷 有灯光，叫他儿子接续他作王，坚立 耶路撒冷 。
5because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that He commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
5因为 大卫 除 了 赫 人 乌利亚 那件事，都是行耶和 华眼中看为正的事，一生没有违背 耶和华一切所吩咐的。
6Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
6罗波安 在 世的日子常与 耶罗波安 争战。
7And the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
7亚 比央 其余的事，凡他所行的，都写在 犹大 列王记上。 亚比央 常与 耶罗波安 争战。
8And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David; and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
8亚比央 与他列祖同睡， 葬在 大卫 的城里。他儿子 亚撒 接续他作王。
9And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Asa to reign over Judah.
9以色列 王 耶罗波安 二十年， 亚撒 登基作 犹大 王，
10And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.
10在 耶路撒冷 作王四十一年。他祖母名叫 玛迦 ，是 押沙龙 的女儿。
11And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.
11亚撒 效法他祖 大卫 行耶和华眼中看为正的事，
12And he put away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
12从国中除去娈童，又除掉他列祖所造的一切偶像；
13And also Maacah his mother he removed from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
13并且贬了他祖母 玛迦 太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像 亚舍拉 。 亚撒 砍下她的偶像，烧在 汲沦溪 边，
14But the high places were not taken away; nevertheless the heart of Asa was whole with the LORD all his days.
14只是邱坛还没有废去。 亚撒 一生却向耶和华存诚实的心。
15And he brought into the house of the LORD the things that his father had hallowed, and the things that himself had hallowed, silver, and gold, and vessels.
15亚撒 将他父亲所分别为圣与自己所分别为圣的金银和器皿都奉到耶和华的殿里。
16And there was war between Asa and Baasa king of Israel all their days.
16亚撒 和 以色列 王 巴沙 在世的日子常常争战。
17And Baasa king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not suffer any to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.
17以色列 王 巴沙 上来要攻击 犹大 ，修筑 拉玛 ，不许人从 犹大 王 亚撒 那里出入。
18Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants; and king Asa sent them to Ben-hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Aram, that dwelt at Damascus, saying:
18于是 亚撒 将耶和华殿和王宫府库里所剩下的金银都交在他臣仆手中，打发他们往住 大马士革 的 亚兰 王— 希旬 的孙子、 他伯利们 的儿子 便·哈达 那里去，
19'There is a league between me and thee, between my father and thy father; behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasa king of Israel, that he may depart from me.'
19说：「你父曾与我父立约，我与你也要立约。现在我将金银送你为礼物，求你废掉你与 以色列 王 巴沙 所立的约，使他离开我。」
20And Ben-hadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel, and smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maacah, and all Chinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
20便·哈达 听从 亚撒 王的话，派军长去攻击 以色列 的城邑；他们就攻破 以云 、 但 、 亚伯·伯·玛迦 、 基尼烈 全境、 拿弗他利 全境。
21And it came to pass, when Baasa heard thereof, that he left off building Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.
21巴沙 听见，就停工不修筑 拉玛 了，仍住在 得撒 。
22Then king Asa made a proclamation unto all Judah; none was exempted; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasa had builded; and king Asa built therewith Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
22于是 亚撒 王宣告 犹大 众人，不准一个推辞，吩咐他们将 巴沙 修筑 拉玛 所用的石头、木头都运去，用以修筑 便雅悯 的 迦巴 和 米斯巴 。
23Now the rest of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? But in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.
23亚撒 其余的事，凡他所行的，并他的勇力与他所建筑的城邑，都写在 犹大 列王记上。 亚撒 年老的时候，脚上有病。
24And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead.
24亚撒 与他列祖同睡，葬在他祖 大卫城 他列祖的坟地里。他儿子 约沙法 接续他作王。
25And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.
25犹大 王 亚撒 第二年， 耶罗波安 的儿子 拿答 登基作 以色列 王共二年，
26And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.
26拿答 行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，行他父亲所行的，犯他父亲使 以色列 人陷在罪里的那罪。
27And Baasa the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasa smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel were laying siege to Gibbethon.
27以萨迦 人 亚希雅 的儿子 巴沙 背叛 拿答 ，在 非利士 的 基比顿 杀了他。那时 拿答 和 以色列 众人正围困 基比顿 。
28Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasa slay him, and reigned in his stead.
28在 犹大 王 亚撒 第三年 巴沙 杀了他，篡了他的位。
29And it came to pass that, as soon as he was king, he smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him; according unto the saying of the LORD, which He spoke by the hand of His servant Ahijah the Shilonite;
29巴沙 一作王就杀了 耶罗波安 的全家，凡有气息的没有留下一个，都灭尽了，正应验耶和华借他仆人 示罗 人 亚希雅 所说的话。
30for the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and wherewith he made Israel to sin; because of his provocation wherewith he provoked the LORD, the God of Israel.
30这是因为 耶罗波安 所犯的罪使 以色列 人陷在罪里，惹动耶和华— 以色列 神的怒气。
31Now the rest of the acts of Nadab and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
31拿答 其余的事，凡他所行的，都写在 以色列 诸王记上。
32And there was war between Asa and Baasa king of Israel all their days.
32亚撒 和 以色列 王 巴沙 在世的日子常常争战。
33In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasa the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, and reigned twenty and four years.
33犹大 王 亚撒 第三年， 亚希雅 的儿子 巴沙 在 得撒 登基作 以色列 众人的王共二十四年。
34And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.
34他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，行 耶罗波安 所行的道，犯他使 以色列 人陷在罪里的那罪。
