1I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost:
1ငါ့ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်သိ သော စိတ်သည် သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ် တော်နှင့်တကွ ငါ့ ဘက်၌ သက်သေခံ လျက်၊ ငါသည်မုသာ မ ပါ၊ ခရစ်တော် ရှေ့၌ မှန်ကန် စွာ ပြော သည်ကား၊
2That I have great sadness, and continual sorrow in my heart.
2ငါ သည် အလွန် ဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းရှိ ၏။ စိတ် နှလုံး ထဲ၌ မခြားမလပ် ပူပန် ခြင်းဝေဒနာရှိ၏။
3For I wished myself to be an anathema from Christ, for my brethren, who are my kinsmen according to the flesh,
3အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ဇာတိ အားဖြင့် ငါ့ အမျိုးသား ချင်းဖြစ်သော ငါ့ ညီအစ်ကို တို့အတွက် ၊ ငါ သည်ကိုယ်တိုင် ခရစ်တော် နှင့် ခွာ ၍ ကျိန် ခြင်းကိုခံချင်လောက်အောင် စိတ် ရှိ၏။
4Who are Israelites, to whom belongeth the adoption as of children, and the glory, and the testament, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises:
4ထိုသူ တို့သည် ဣသရေလ လူဖြစ် ၍၊ သား အရာ၌ ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ၊ ဘုန်း အာနုဘော်တော်နှင့်၎င်း ၊ ပဋိညာဉ် တရားတို့နှင့်၎င်း ၊ ပညတ် တရားထားခြင်းနှင့် ၎င်း ၊ ဝတ်ပြု ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ၊ ဂတိ တော်တို့နှင့်၎င်း၊ ဆိုင်ကြ၏။
5Whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all things, God blessed for ever. Amen.
5ဘိုးဘေး များတို့နှင့်ဆက်နွယ်သောသူလည်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ခရစ်တော် သည်လည်း ၊ ဇာတိ အမျိုးအားဖြင့် ထိုသူ တို့၏ အမျိုးဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုခရစ်တော် သည်လည်း ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရာတို့ကို အစိုးရ တော်မူ၍ ထာဝရ မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ အာမင်
6Not as though the word of God hath miscarried. For all are not Israelites that are of Israel:
6ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ဂတိ တော်မ တည် ဟု ငါမဆိုလို။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ဣသရေလ နှင့် ဆက်နွယ်သော သူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဣသရေလ လူမှန်မ ဟုတ်။
7Neither are all they that are the seed of Abraham, children; but in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
7ထိုနည်းတူအာဗြဟံ ၏ အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ် သော သူအပေါင်း တို့သည် အာဗြဟံ၏သား မှန်မ ဟုတ်။ ဣဇာက် ၌ သာ သင် ၏အမျိုး တည်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဗျာဒိတ် တော်ရှိ၏။
8That is to say, not they that are the children of the flesh, are the children of God; buy they, that are the children of the promise, are accounted for the seed.
8ထိုကြောင့်၊ ဇာတိ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား မှန်မ ဟုတ်။ ဂတိ တော်နှင့်ဆိုင်သော သား တို့သည် အမျိုးအနွယ်မှန်သည်ဟု မှတ် တော်မူ၏။
9For this is the word of promise: According to this time will I come; and Sara shall have a son.
9ဂတိ တော်အချက် ဟူမူကား ၊ ယခု မှစ၍ကာလ အချိန်စေ့သောအခါ ၊ ငါလာ ၍ စာရာ သည် သား ကို ရ လိမ့်မည်ဟု လာသတည်း။
10And not only she. But when Rebecca also had conceived at once, of Isaac our father.
10ထိုမျှမက ၊ ရေဗက္ကာ သည် ငါ တို့ အဘ ဣဇာက် နှင့် စုံဘက် ၍ ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲယူ သောအခါ ၊
11For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,)
11ဘုရားသခင် ရွေးကောက် တော်မူခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်သောအကြံ တော်သည် အကျင့်အားဖြင့် မ တည် ၊ ခေါ် တော်မူသော သူ ၏အလိုတော်အားဖြင့် တည်မည် အကြောင်း ၊ သားမ ဘွား မှီ ၊ ထိုသားတို့သည် ကောင်း သောအကျင့်၊ မ ကောင်းသောအကျင့်ကိုမကျင့် မှီ၊
12Not of works, but of him that calleth, it was said to her: The elder shall serve the younger.
12သားအကြီး သည် သားအငယ် ၌ ကျွန် ခံရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထိုမိန်းမ အားဗျာဒိတ် ပေးတော်မူ၏။
13As it is written: Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.
13ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ၊ ယာကုပ် ကိုငါချစ် ၏။ ဧသော ကို မုန်း ၏ဟု ကျမ်းစာ လာသတည်း။
14What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? God forbid.
14သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ အဘယ်သို့ ပြော ရမည်နည်း။ ဘုရားသခင် သည် မတရား သောအမှုကို ပြုတော်မူသလော။ ထိုသို့မ ပြောရ
15For he saith to Moses: I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy; and I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy.
15ဘုရားသခင်က၊ ငါသည်ကျေးဇူး ပြုလိုသောသူ ကိုကျေးဇူး ပြုမည်။ သနား လိုသောသူ ကိုလည်း သနား မည်ဟု မောရှေ ကို မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
16ထိုကြောင့် ၊ လိုချင် သောသူ သည် တတ်နိုင်သည် မ ဟုတ်။ ပြေး သောသူ သည်လည်း တတ်နိုင်သည်မ ဟုတ်။ ကျေးဇူး ပြုတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင် သာလျှင် တတ်နိုင်တော်မူ၏။
17For the scripture saith to Pharao: To this purpose have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
17ကျမ်းစာ ၌ ဖာရော ဘုရင်ကိုဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါ့ တန်ခိုး ကို သင် ၌ ငါပြ ခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း ၊ ငါ့ နာမ ကို မြေကြီး တပြင်လုံး တွင် ကျော်စော စေခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း၊ သင့် ကို ချီးမြှောက် ခဲ့ပြီဟု ဆို သတည်း။
18Therefore he hath mercy on whom he will; and whom he will, he hardeneth.
18ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ၊ ကျေးဇူးပြုလို သောသူ ကို ကျေးဇူး ပြုတော်မူ၏။ ခိုင်မာစေလို သောသူ ကိုလည်း ခိုင်မာ စေတော်မူ၏။
19Thou wilt say therefore to me: Why doth he then find fault? for who resisteth his will?
19သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် ၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် အပြစ်တင် တော်မူသေး သနည်း။ အဘယ်သူ သည် အလို တော်ကို ဆီးတား ဘူးသနည်းဟု ဆို မည်လော။
20O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it: Why hast thou made me thus?
20ဘုရားသခင် ကို ငြင်းဆန် သော အချင်း လူ ၊ သင် သည်ကား အဘယ်သူ နည်း။ လုပ်အပ် သော အရာ သည် လုပ် တတ်သောသူ အား၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ့ ကို ဤသို့ လုပ် သနည်းဟု ဆို ရမည်လော။
21Or hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump, to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
21အိုးထိန်း သမားသည် အိုးမြေကို ပိုင် သည် မ ဟုတ်လော။ အိုး မြေတပုံ တည်း နှင့် အိုး မြတ် ၊ အိုးယုတ် ကို လုပ် ပိုင်သည်မဟုတ်လော။
22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath, fitted for destruction,
22ဘုရားသခင် သည် မိမိ အမျက် တော်ကိုပြ ၍ ၊ တန်ခိုး တော်ကို ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှာအလို တော်ရှိလျက်၊ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းအဘို့ ပြင်ဆင် သော အမျက် ရာအိုး များတို့ကို အလွန် သည်းခံ ခြင်းခန္တီနှင့်သည်းခံ တော်မူသည် မှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ပြောဘွယ်ရှိအံ့နည်း။
23That he might shew the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he hath prepared unto glory?
23ချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းအဘို့ ပြင်ဆင် တော်မူနှင့်သော ကရုဏာ ခံရာ အိုး များတည်းဟူသော၊
24Even us, whom also he hath called, nor only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles.
24ယုဒ အမျိုးသားတို့အထဲ မှသာ မ ဟုတ်၊ တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့အထဲ မှ ပရောဖက်ဟောရှေဆိုသည်အတိုင်း ခေါ် တော်မူသောငါတို့၌ ဘုန်း အာနုဘော်တော် ကြွယ်ဝ ခြင်းကို ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှာ ပြုတော်မူသည် မှန်လျှင်၊ အဘယ်ပြောဘွယ်ရှိအံ့နည်း။
25As in Osee he saith: I will call that which was not my people, my people; and her that was not beloved, beloved; and her that had not obtained mercy, one that hath obtained mercy.
25ဟောရှေ ၏ ကျမ်းစာ၌ လာ သည်ကား၊ ငါ ၏ လူ မ ဟုတ်သော သူ ကိုငါ ၏လူ ဟူ၍ငါခေါ် မည်။ မ ချစ် သော သတို့သမီး ကိုလည်း အချစ် ဟူ၍ငါခေါ်မည်။
26And it shall be, in the place where it was said unto them, You are not my people; there they shall be called the sons of the living God.
26သင်တို့သည်ငါ ၏လူ မ ဟုတ် ဟုပြောဆို ရာ အရပ် ၌ နေ သောသူ တို့သည်၊ အသက် ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ် ခြင်းကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု လာသတည်း။
27And Isaias crieth out concerning Israel: If the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved.
27ပရောဖက်ဟေရှာယ သည်လည်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ရည်မှတ် ၍ ကြွေးကြော် သည်ကား၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည် သမုဒ္ဒရာ သဲလုံး နှင့်အမျှ များ သော်လည်း ၊ ကြွင်း သောသူ တို့သာလျှင်ကယ်တင် တော်မူခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
28For he shall finish his word, and cut it short in justice; because a short word shall the Lord make upon the earth.
28အမှု တော်ကို တရားသဖြင့် ပြီးစီး စေခြင်းငှာဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူမည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်မြေ ပေါ်မှာ ဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူသော အမှုကို ပြုတော်မူလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုသတည်း။
29And as Isaias foretold: Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been made as Sodom, and we had been like unto Gomorrha.
29ထိုသို့ နှင့်အညီ၊ ဟေရှာယ သည် အထက် က ဆိုပြန်သည်ကား၊ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်ငါ တို့၌ မျိုးစေ့ ကို ကြွင်း စေတော်မ မူလျှင် ၊ ငါတို့သည်သောဒုံ မြို့ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် ၍ ဂေါမောရ မြို့နှင့် တူ ကြပြီ။
30What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who followed not after justice, have attained to justice, even the justice that is of faith.
30ထိုကြောင့် ၊ အဘယ်သို့ ပြော ရမည်နည်းဟူမူကား ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းကို မှီအောင် မ လိုက် သောတစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းကို မှီ ကြ၏။ ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်၊ ယုံကြည် ခြင်းအားဖြင့် မှီ သောဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းကို ဆိုလိုသတည်း။
31But Israel, by following after the law of justice, is not come unto the law of justice.
31ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတရား ကိုမှီအောင်လိုက် သော ဣသရေလ လူတို့မူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းတရား ကို မ မှီ ကြ။
32Why so? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were of works. For they stumbled at the stumblingstone.
32အဘယ်ကြောင့် မမှီကြသနည်း။ ယုံကြည် ခြင်း အားဖြင့် မ လိုက်၊ ပညတ်တရား၏ အကျင့် အားဖြင့် သာ လိုက်ကြ သတည်း။
33As it is written: Behold I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and a rock of scandal; and whosoever believeth in him shall not be confounded.
33ကျမ်းစာ၌လာ သည်ကား ၊ ထိမိ ၍ လဲစရာ ကျောက် ၊ မှားယွင်း စရာကျောက် ကို ဇိအုန် တောင်ပေါ်မှာ ငါချထား ၏။ ထိုကျောက် ကို အမှီပြု သောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ ရှက်ကြောက် ခြင်းမ ရှိ နိုင်ရာဟုလာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ထိုကျောက်ကို ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် ထိမိ၍ လဲကြ၏။
