1At that time, saith the Lord, they shall cast out the bones of the kings of Juda, and the bones of the princes thereof, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves.
1耶和華說：「到那時，人必將 猶大 王的骸骨和他首領的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、先知的骸骨，並 耶路撒冷 居民的骸骨，都從墳墓中取出來，
2And they shall spread them abroad to the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and adored: they shall not be gathered, and they shall not be buried: they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth.
2拋散在日頭、月亮，和天上眾星之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的。這些骸骨不再收殮，不再葬埋，必在地面上成為糞土；
3And death shall be chosen rather than life by all that shall remain of this wicked kindred in all places, which are left, to which I have cast them out, saith the Lord of hosts.
3並且這惡族所剩下的民在我所趕他們到的各處，寧可揀死不揀生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
4And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord: Shall not he that falleth, rise again? and he that is turned away, shall he not turn again?
4你要對他們說，耶和華如此說： 人跌倒，不再起來嗎？ 人轉去，不再轉來嗎？
5Why then is this people in Jerusalem turned away with a stubborn revolting? they have laid hold on lying, and have refused to return.
5這 耶路撒冷 的民，為何恆久背道呢？ 他們守定詭詐，不肯回頭。
6I attended, and hearkened; no man speaketh what is good, there is none that doth penance for his sin, saying: What have I done? They are all turned to their own course, as a horse rushing to the battle.
6我留心聽，聽見他們說不正直的話。 無人悔改惡行，說： 我做的是甚麼呢？ 他們各人轉奔己路， 如馬直闖戰場。
7The kite in the air hath known her time: the turtle, and the swallow, and the stork have observed the time of their coming: but my people have not known the judgment of the Lord.
7空中的鸛鳥知道 來去的 定期； 斑鳩燕子與白鶴也守候當來的時令； 我的百姓卻不知道耶和華的法則。
8How do you say: We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Indeed the lying pen of the scribes hath wrought falsehood.
8你們怎麼說：我們有智慧， 耶和華的律法在我們這裏？ 看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。
9The wise men are confounded, they are dismayed, and taken: for they have cast away the word of the Lord, and there is no wisdom in them.
9智慧人慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿； 他們棄掉耶和華的話， 心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？
10Therefore I will give their women to strangers, their fields to others for an inheritance: because from the least even to the greatest all follow covetousness: from the prophet even to the priest, all deal deceitfully.
10所以我必將他們的妻子給別人， 將他們的田地給別人為業； 因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪， 從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。
11And they healed the breach of the daughter of my people disgracefully, saying Peace, peace: when there was no peace.
11他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說： 平安了！平安了！ 其實沒有平安。
12They are confounded, because they have committed abomination: yea rather they are not confounded with confusion, and they have not know how to blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall; in the time of their visitation they shall fall, saith the Lord.
12他們行可憎的事知道慚愧嗎？ 不然，他們毫不慚愧， 也不知羞恥。 因此他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒； 我向他們討罪的時候， 他們必致跌倒。 這是耶和華說的。
13Gathering I will gather them together, saith the Lord, there is no grape on the vines, and there are no figs on the fig tree, the leaf is fallen: and I have given them the things that are passed away.
13耶和華說：我必使他們全然滅絕； 葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄， 無花果樹上必沒有果子， 葉子也必枯乾。 我所賜給他們的， 必離開他們過去。
14Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced city, and let us be silent there: for the Lord our God hath put us to silence, and hath given us water of gall to drink: for we have sinned against the Lord.
14我們為何靜坐不動呢？ 我們當聚集，進入堅固城， 在那裏靜默不言； 因為耶和華－我們的上帝使我們靜默不言， 又將苦膽水給我們喝， 都因我們得罪了耶和華。
15We looked for peace and no good came: for a time of healing, and behold fear.
15我們指望平安， 卻得不着好處； 指望痊癒的時候， 不料，受了驚惶。
16The snorting of his horse was heard from Dan, all the land was moved at the sound of the neighing of his warriors: and they came and devoured the land, and all that was in it: the city and its inhabitants.
16聽見從 但 那裏敵人的馬噴鼻氣， 他的壯馬發嘶聲， 全地就都震動； 因為他們來吞滅這地和其上所有的， 吞滅這城與其中的居民。
17For behold I will send among you serpents, basilisks, against which there is no charm: and they shall bite you, saith the Lord.
17看哪，我必使毒蛇到你們中間， 是不服法術的， 必咬你們。 這是耶和華說的。
18My sorrow is above sorrow, my heart mourneth within me.
18我有憂愁，願能自慰； 我心在我裏面發昏。
19Behold the voice of the daughter my people from a far country: Is not the Lord in Sion, or is not her king in her? why then have they provoked me to wrath with their idols, and strange vanities?
19聽啊，是我百姓的哀聲從極遠之地而來， 說 ：耶和華不在 錫安 嗎？ 錫安 的王不在其中嗎？ 耶和華說 ：他們為甚麼以雕刻的偶像 和外邦虛無 的神 惹我發怒呢？
20The harvest is passed, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
20麥秋已過，夏令已完， 我們還未得救！
21For the affliction of the daughter of my people I am afflicted, and made sorrowful, astonishment hath taken hold on me.
21先知說 ：因我百姓的損傷， 我也受了損傷。 我哀痛，驚惶將我抓住。
22Is there no balm in Galaad? or is no physician there? Why then is not the wound of the daughter of my people closed?
22在 基列 豈沒有乳香呢？ 在那裏豈沒有醫生呢？ 我百姓為何不得痊癒呢？
